First off let me say that I initially met with Lisa who was very friendly and seemed trustworthy…read more I explained to her that after a check engine light showed up I had Auto-zone run their scanner on my vehicle. They did so free of charge and returned error code P1757 recommending to replace the governor and possibly the transducer in the transmission. I further explained to Lisa that after the governor and the transducer were replaced, the check engine light returned with the error code P0868. She said they could do a full diagnostics for $150 made be a transmission specialist. She made a note of the recent history on my ticket. I told her I would leave the scanner reports and changed parts in my truck cab in case their technician needed to refer to them. A few hours later, a gentleman who I believe to be the owner called me, saying that they would need me to approve an expense of $600 to $900 for them to finish the diagnostic, because they would need to drop the pan to go further into figuring out what is wrong. I declined and asked when I could pick up my truck. He said he would have to see because they would first have to put my truck back together if I was declining to go any further. I confirmed I wanted my truck back and he said he could have it ready later in the day. When I got there i asked what they had done. it turns out they had only plugged in their scanner and printed out the report. The same type of report I had told them Autozone had done for free and that I had left for their convenience in my truck. I paid my $156 and asked to see the report. obviously it returned the exact same two error codes P0868 and P1757. Nothing more. It took them all but 3mn to start the engine, plug in the scanner, turn off the engine then plug the scanner into their computer and print out the report. So when I remembered that over the phone, the owner had claimed that if I wanted my truck back he would have to see to "put it back together" this was a huge red flag as to their honesty and straight forwardness. When I asked him in person why they did not do more diagnostics then simply running a scanner, when they knew I had already done so, he responded that he was not going to have his guys drop the transmission pan for $150. I would not have had a problem if he had been upfront and had explained that his diagnostics would be nothing more than plugging a scanner. i would have likely skipped that step and asked how much it would cost me to get an actual professional transmission diagnostic. When I got home from their shop, I was surprised to realize that my box with the parts and diagnostics report made by Autozone were no longer in my truck. Needless to say I will find someone else to work on my vehicle.

After driving a couple blocks after having that battery changed, a light on the dash that I had never seen before came on. So, I pulled back in to politely ask if it was possible that the battery cables were not tight or something and to look under the hood myself, even though I had been nothing but calm and polite, he got extremely defensive and rude but said nothing about cancelling or upcoming appointment (which he knew I was staying in the area an extra day for) The indicator light went off when I restarted the car and never came back on and after some research online, I believe that he hadn't done anything wrong connecting the battery but that having the battery disconnected caused a sensor glitch. When I returned for that appointment two days later he refused to work on my car claiming that I had gotten angry with him which up until that point was absolutely not the case! He had my phone number yet never called to cancel; so, it seems like a deliberate petty, vindictive attempt to waste my time when all I had done was politely ask a question. This is the most childish and unprofessional behaviour I have ever experienced from a mechanic! I recommend avoiding this place at all cost!

He got my car in the same day and had it completed within a short time frame. The mechanics are professional and I know the issues will be taken care of. I did ask for a heavy duty battery so I don't have to go thru this again any sooner than I have to but was willing to pay extra for that. About 6 month ago I needed all 4 tires. Being between jobs at the time, Rick got 4 new tires for less than 2 Michelins (my preferred brand) would have cost. I can always count on him to educate me so I can make better decisions based on my current situation and doing the job right. Thanks for giving me peace of mind!

They were given a job to repair the AC control unit instead it they cracked the dash on my H2 I was told it was a new control unit it was a remanufactured unit and shorted out the amplifier on my Bose stereo system their answer was take the fuse out of the vehicle, so the amplifier would not run the battery down!! so now I have no radio or OnStar workingThey even forgot to tighten down the shifter knob so when I left, I put it in reverse and I was holding the shifter knob in my hand, terrible experience and yet I gave them one more chance to do brakes. once they brought up the orders, they refused to do any work on the vehicle and promptly sent me out the door !!!!! the total for those services was over $3000 and none of it was done correctly I would not trust them with an oil change. The receptionist has no idea what she's doing. job was planned a week in advance!!I would avoid this place at all costs or it will cost you.!!!!

Went in with a starter issue…read moreluckily after driving the truck from Orlando back to Gainsville the DAY before, went home went to school got to apartment the next day bam starter went out. Didn't think much of it they "replaced" it in a couple of hours the day after. Go to pick the truck up and the thing won't even start. Im furious as why would you give me a truck with a starter issue that still doesn't start when you give it back. Older guy walks me to my truck "cranks" the truck by stepping on BRAKE AND GAS at the same time presses on button and bam white smoke projecting everywhere. That was never an issue owening my truck as I drive from Granville to Ft. Lauderdale, Melbourne, fort myers, all over Florida literally with no issue. They said it would take about a week to fix, said they would get it in the day after which was a Thursday, didn't start on it till the following Monday. "Oh we have to ship out your headers to make sure they aren't worn" doesn't do it until that following Thursday and then have to wait till Monday to hear again. Mind you this has been two weeks always telling me it'll take a couple more days and pushing the date back. Next thing was, it was supposed to be done the DAY before spring break where I live in Fort Lauderdale 4:30 hours away. Tell me to come in at three, then oh come in at 6. I'm on my way to pick up my truck and get a call, it won't be done till next Monday. Another cherry on top. So guess what had to bus home and waited another TWO weeks for my truck to be done only to get it in a condition that was worse. I have rock light in my wheels and guess what I found out they screwed that up too. I have pictures of before and after, before my lights worked, now none of them do. I have black wires dangling from the bottoms of my truck from them trying to rewire it all which means they screwed that up and lied to me about it. NEVER once told me about the rewire of the truck which obviously contributed to the delay of my trucks return. They were never honest and screwed everything up only for none of it to work. My starter to this day still goes in and out and sometimes doesn't start my truck. Please stay away from this place. Not to mention a year before that, owned a BMW that the front right axel came off. The repaired it quickly only for three days later it to basically come off again and they told me "oh yeah we found a screw that wasn't tightened all the way". This is by far the worst experience I've had at a place and trust me when I say IVE HAD PLENTY. Genuinely lucky I didnt report them to the BBA or anything like that. Please stay away.
