Surf's Up serves a Good2Go product on their menu being the Shock N' Shrimp. When I discovered that, I just had to visit because since Vegandale I have been on the lookout for Shock N' Shrimp throughout Chicago. As a vegetarian, I am always on the hunt for plant-based foods. So, I chose and made my way to Surf's UP which sits within a short distance of the hospital I work at in Maywood. I ended up ordering their 8 Pieces Shock N' Shrimp which came with Fries, figuring that it would fill me up rather than the 3 Pieces Shock N' Shrimp. I always love ordering online via yelp because it is convenient! Most of the time my orders are completed upon my arrival or near complete. I encountered the issue of my order not going through via Grubhub, resulting in me having to call Grubhub to cancel. All went well with that process, and I was refunded in a timely manner by Grubhub. And at the time, the employee was patient, even when receiving the call from Grubhub. Since I was already onsite, I resumed the ordering process after the employee got off of the phone with Grubhub because I just had to have the Shock N' Shrimp. And no more than 10 minutes from the time I placed my order with the employee, he completed it, and I was well on my way. As for my food, the Shock N' Shrimp tasted wonderful! To complement the taste, I was given barbecue dipping sauce with them which I absolutely loved. And I just cannot go without mentioning the Fries which were not too overly seasoned. I enjoyed the Fries equally as I did the Shock N' Shrimp. With there being other items on the menu that I would love to try, I am very well open to visiting and ordering from Surf's UP - Maywood, or any other Surf's UP location again. Tello's sits amongst a strip of restaurants that I am very familiar with along W Roosevelt Rd in Maywood. And its 5.0 star rating out of 19 on Uber Eats was the assurance I needed that I would have a quality ordering experience. Now outside of the fish sandwich on the menu, I took interest in the Mexican style items featured such as their taco, burrito, and giant quesadilla with fries. As like the fish sandwich, I did not expect to see them featured on the menu of a restaurant known for polish sausages. As much as I wanted tacos during this ordering experience, I had to choose something else because there was no option to remove the meat which was a huge bummer at the time. So, I chose the next best thing, the giant quesadilla which came with fries; and the quesadilla had the without meat option. Inside the quesadilla I topped it with grilled onions, lettuce, and tomato which totally made my mouth salivate while putting together my order. Whether it be Grubhub or Uber Eats, I love ordering online because it is convenient, plus I can schedule when I would like to pick it up. Most of the time my orders are completed upon my arrival or near complete. By the time I arrived at Tello's my order was being finished behind the counter. Grateful to have had a smooth online ordering experience because the likelihood of me ordering online again at the location is very high. As for my food, the quesadilla was huge as its name states, "giant quesadilla". Underneath it were the fries which I anticipated being somewhere merged in with the main item which always adds to the greasy experience. Ordering from Maxwell, you can always expect your fries to be buried in with your main item, which is one thing that makes them stand out amongst other restaurants. The fries were plain and I loved that they were not salted at all. Now my whole entire time eating the quesadilla, I tried my best to keep the toppings from falling out, which was so juicy and satisfying! I do not order quesadilla's often, but when I do again I believe it will be from Tello's. I swear my hospital scrubs top nearly busted open in the mid-section after I finished eating their quesadilla. One thing for sure is that it left me satisfied, * chef's kiss *. Here is a poem for your enjoyment to sum up how I felt after eating the giant quesadilla. One quesadilla, "giant" as a door, I couldn't stop at three bites, I needed four. Now Tello's finest is sitting deep, And these scrubs have promises they cannot keep. The V-neck's straining, the side-seams pray, I'm one deep breath from a wardrobe display. Forget the charting, forget the "rounds," I'm currently breaking all physical bounds. So if a button flies and hits the wall, Just know I'm full and I had a ball. The gauze is ready, the tape is near, But the "Quesadilla Coma" is finally here. After this ordering experience with Tello's Beef Maxwell St, I am very open to visiting and ordering from again outside of my favorites in the immediate area along Roosevelt Rd.
