I've been so happy to have chosen S&G services. They always come to my house on time and do a nice job cleaning. Also, the office staff is pleasant to work with. Reaching the office by phone is very easy. read more

I hired S&G Cleaners to deep-clean my late father's home before listing it for sale -- a stressful enough situation without added headaches. The $6,400 job was mediocre at best: multiple areas were left dirty, including the garage I had explicitly asked them to sweep out, and they never responded to my follow-up email about the unfinished work. What made things far worse was that they overcharged my credit card by nearly $3,000 -- I only caught it because my bank flagged it, and getting the refund took over 90 minutes across multiple phone calls. The billing process itself is a mess: seven-plus vague line items across my statement with no clear description of what any of them cover, and the timing of the refund (issued in May for April charges) created credit card complications I had to spend another 30 minutes resolving. I understand mistakes happen, but the combination of subpar work, a massive billing error, confusing charges, and complete silence after my complaint makes it impossible to recommend this company. read more

The worst possible cleaning service and the most unprofessional managers/ schedulers that you can imagine . They re-schedule multiple times and their cleaning crew ( who don't speak English or claim that they don't speak English ) arrive at timings other than the scheduled time upsetting all your planned activities for the day Once they arrive they call their manager who increases the rate of the service... and if you are not ok with it - they just simply cancel after putting a call to their manager and leave. For the sake of your sanity - avoid this cleaning service who call themselves 'Professional' !! read more

The cleaning people are especially friendly, very flexible when scheduling or needing to change cleaning dates, and they are efficient. The same people clean every time making the whole process easy for them and me. read more

Do yourself a favor and find a different cleaning company. they claim to specialize in "post construction/renovation cleaning" they did a HORRIBLE job left construction and debris all over the house, on walls, faucets, countertops, backsplash. Met with the supervisor, did a walk through she found even more that had not been cleaned (door frames, window sills) had to pay another cleaning company to come out and clean they said our new home had looked like it had never been touched before. WORST COMPANY EVER. never again. read more

Had a great deep clean. Will definitely use agai!

I scheduled a deep clean for my parents before listing their house for sale. They came recommend by their real estate agent. Customer service was helpful, saying they will clean EVERYTHING floor to ceiling, except windows. After 9.16 billable hours x $45 total $460 I could not tell they were even there. If it weren't for the vacuum marks, and the invoiced email I would have assumed they never showed up. What they did was a light clean, at best, and I could have done a better job in a fraction of the time!!!! Extremely upset. Am expecting a phone call tomorrow,I would ask for a refund and do it myself if it wasn't for the timeframe! FOLLOW UP: the house was cleaned again. We understand that an estimate is just that. Would have paid more If they needed more time. They say we should have called the office immediately. But I would say, say why didnt their employees not call to say it would take more time to be done right? Thank you for re-cleaning, and I do appreciate their apologies and their other offers. I called on a Saturday to report the issue and the house was cleaned by Monday (next business day) I appreciate the quick response, as well as the follow up emails. Everyone has a bad or off day, and as far as I'm concerned they fixed the situation. read more

This is for their "move in" cleaning appointment. I moved into a new house a few months ago and thought it would be a great idea to get a FULL clean before moving all of my material possessions and family into the house. They did an ok job overall. The blinds were still dusty, wood and marble floors were still dirty, counters were dirty, and it just was not that sparkling clean that I wanted. It was a very "light" clean. At one point I did mention to them that the top of the kitchen cabinets were horribly disgusting and to pay attention to this. They did in fact do a wonderful job at cleaning the top of the kitchen cabinets. All in all I would say just be there when they do the cleaning. I thought it would be ultra convenient to have them clean while I was at work. I wish I would have been there to pay close attention to what they were doing. Or maybe just list all of the things you want done so there is no confusion. They didnt charge me too much so I let it go and did the rest of the cleaning myself. read more

Great cleaning top to bottom - they did a post-move, pre-tenant clean for me. Made the whole place sparkle. Did have a little bit of confusion on the reception end. But I don't want to take that away from the cleaners, who were great. read more

I'm not satisfied with the cleaning I received last week.  The only part of my kitchen that looks cleaned was the lazy-susan with obvious dark stains.  There were smudges and stains left on the cabinets and crumbs inside.  Underneath the sink was conveniently overlooked. Pull out kitchen drawers were not cleaned inside.  In the bathroom they left visible dust on the blinds.  The supervisor came in at the end and caught that omission and made the crew clean it ( how did she know they were done? Must have been communicating.). There were 3 women there for less than an hour and I expected a more thorough cleaning.  This was a light wipe down that cost nearly $200. I emailed pictures and was offered a re-cleaning. By that time I had run out of time and cleaned it myself so I asked for a full or partial refund but was denied. Beware. Don't waste your money. read more

I generally leave reviews of only my positive experiences, but I feel obligated to warn people about this cleaning service. My family and I were moving to our new house and I wanted it to be thoroughly cleaned before we moved in, especially because we have babies. I was initially told by S&G that they would send two people to clean our house, but they sent only one. After calling the company, they sent the second person after about an hour. They spent almost 6 hours "cleaning" our house. When my husband and I came to see the house, it was barely touched! The toilets were not cleaned at all, the counters were still dusty, the bath tubs were still dirty, there were still footprints all over the floors. We could not believe it! After we complained, to their credit, they sent a second cleaning crew to re-clean the house a few days later, but they cleaned only the bathrooms instead of the entire house, as contracted. We also hired a carpet cleaner from the company, who did a commendable job. When we received the bill, however, his measurements of one room he cleaned was vastly larger than the true size of the space. Again, after I complained, we were told that the bill would be corrected to reflect the right measurements. I paid the massive bill, but I will not do business with S&G again. And, I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone. read more

We just moved into our new home that was completely renovated. We realized that the dust and mess left from the construction we way more than we could handle when we moved in along with our 2 year old twins. I searched for a company that specializes in post construction cleaning. I called S& G and spoke to Tracey. She was very helpful and explained their services and got me an appointment right away. I am disappointed in the service they provided. They did a pretty good job managing all of the dust that was everywhere but they did miss a few places. My kitchen backsplash still had dust and the shower stall floors were still dirty. One of the things that disappointed me the most was the floors. We had some glue and sparkle spots in areas throughout the first floor. I had mentioned that to Tracey when I called and she said that they do spot cleaning and had the proper cleaning supplies to do so. That did not happen. The floors were mopped and that's it. As a regular cleaning service they are ok. I would not recommend them for post construction cleaning. read more

Beware. They quote you one price and immediately up the price saying it's going to take longer to clean your home. Also the girls do not clean your house the way a house should be cleaned. They left the same water marks in the bathroom on the sink with toothpaste both times they cleaned my home. I was told that this was not cleaned properly because I did not have an initial cleaning. Which is absolutely ridiculous. I also had a contract for two hours of cleaning with two girls and they did not clean my home for two hours they left early maybe that's why the house could not get cleaned properly because they did not take the time needed to clean my home. Do not. To come back and reclean my home was never offered to me. read more

They were very quick, didn't leave a mess, price was good the guy was very nice who came to our house.

S& G were fabulous. I am a realtor and need a VERY dirty condo cleaned and they came in and did a miraculous job that I almost did not recognize the unit. They came when they said they were coming and believe me the dust and dirt was thick and they cleaned everything so well. They have cleaned other properties for me and always do a GREAT job!! They cannot keep to their schedule. They did not let me have my requested time and only informed me the night before. On the day of my move-in cleaning I was told ONLY after I initiated the phone call to ask when the team was coming ( they were VERY late ) that they would arrive an hour and a half outside of their window, the one that was already later than I originally wanted. THEN they had the nerve to ask to reschedule. You mean after we have all of our furniture in place? No thanks! There is too much competition for this foolishness. Look elsewhere. read more

S&G Cleaning did such a great job. The staff was friendly and efficient. I can't wait to have them back. My home has never looked better!!

Needed a good 'once-over' for our firehouse. S&G's crew came in and did a thorough job for a very reasonable cost.

The ladies from S& G did such a fantastic job, I feel very comfortable recommending them to anyone looking for someone to come in to clean. They were on time, worked quickly and efficiently for a very good price. read more

They agree on a price , clean the house and when i offered feedback on areas they did not clean or should have taken care of , they say they quoted me a wrong price and wanted to increase the price by 50$ all after visiting my house and inspecting before offering me the initial price. Perhaps it is their way of telling Sorry we cannot do a better job to meet your expectations. read more

I use this company to clean my house, and love it the girls are very friendly and the service is always great... i really recommend this company. read more

At first glance I thought this was going to be a super easy transaction. I had met the owner through a Chamber of Commerce meeting and felt really great up front about discussing my cleaning needs with this company. However when the day of my cleaning came, my whole opinion changed. I called in the morning to push my cleaning time back from 2 until 2:30pm since my schedule had changed. I of course wanted to be there since this was my first cleaning with them, and I do have an older dog that I was nervous to see his reaction to cleaning people. The day of the cleaning I was told since I needed to push it back 30 min it would have to be rescheduled. Then I received another phone call saying that I would be able to be cleaned by a different crew at 2:30. Then I received another phone call asking if I was sure no one was home at my house because it was their knowledge that the original cleaning crew was there. This occurred at around 12pm, and my original cleaning time was 2pm. I arrived home at approximately 2:30 not knowing if the cleaning crew was even going to show up, since I had asked them to figure out what was going on and call me back with an answer. I never received that follow up phone call. When I pulled up to my home I noticed that there was a garbage bag on my front porch, which was not left there by me. I approached my front door and when I walked in there were two cleaning people in my house. I asked how they had gotten in, and they told me they took a spare key from under my front mat. I had not informed anyone I keep a spare key under my front mat, because I wanted to be there for my first cleaning to walk through with them and to see how my dog would react. I was upset that they had just let themselves in without my knowledge. When I called the company to express my dissatisfaction on how they run a business, it was brought to my attention that their clients leave garage codes and hide a keys, and that their employees are used to this. And that would be fine in the future if I decided to move forward with regular scheduled services. However I had made it clear that I wanted to be there for the first time. If they had walked in and my dog attacked them, then that would be on me and I would now be responsible for this since they let themselves in without my knowledge. I really did not feel that they even cared that they violated my privacy and two total strangers looked for a hide a key and let themselves into my home. I received an email the following day to apologize; my name was spelled incorrectly in the email, even though my name is in my email address, so they typed it correctly to email me, however didn't pay that much attention when retyping. I work in customer service and just imagine if this situation was reversed what I would have done to make sure that my first time guest was satisfied. I always try to go above and beyond; because I care about my business. I am writing this because there seemed to be complete disregard about customer service and satisfaction from this business. And the worst part is the cleaning was actually amazing. The two cleaning ladies cleaned my house better than anyone ever has. However their lack of attention to customer service made me never want to do business with them ever again. I also received a follow up phone call one week later to see how my cleaning was, however no mention of my dissatisfaction. My suggestion to your business is really communicate with your employees, as well as your clients. Simple communication could have turned this whole situation around. I felt from that first phone call the day of my cleaning that there was massive amounts of disorganization and I was correct. From the cleaning company showing up hours before a scheduled time, to feeling it was ok to simply let yourself into a first time clients house, even through management and how they handle dissatisfied clients. You really have a lot to work on and should take some time to reorganize your business. Possibly look into how to handle dissatisfied clients, and work on turning that around. Your employees clean really well, you could probably gain more business if you had better, more organized people in your office working for you. I know if I hadn't had this issue you would have a client moving forward in the future, however you have left such a bad taste in my mouth you have lost my business, and I will make sure to share my experience with anyone who asks. read more

Mediocre at best. I hired S&G to help with my spring cleaning. When I spoke with the woman in the the office, she made me feel really confident about S&G. She verbally went through a detailed list of everything that should be done during a deep cleaning. Unfortunately, that message didn't make it to the cleaning crew. There was nothing deep about the initial cleaning I got from S&G. I'd grade it a C- ; it was obvious they'd done something but not what they were hired to do. They guarantee their work so they came out the following week and actually did a deep cleaning. I'd grade the second attempt at a B- ; there were dirty dishes left in the dish drain as if they were clean & they throw the garbage out without closing the bag which means all of the trash could potentially end up all over my yard. Since I had initially set up a recurring schedule their cleaning crew came one more time two weeks after the second deep cleaning. They left dirty dishes in the dish drain again to pose as clean dishes. According to the office, they're not responsible for washing dishes. But if you're going to do it, do it right. I will continue looking for other cleaning companies. Here's why : - I don't like the way S&G manages scheduling. They wait until fewer than 24 hours before the appointment to finalize their schedule. That's inconvenient for me & simply a personal preference. I'd like to be clear what time to expect the crew at least 48 hours in advance. - There's a disconnect between what the office says will be done vs what the cleaning crew actually does. I'll now prefer the smaller businesses where one woman always shows up and brings help if needed. - They think they can show up whenever they want regardless of the appointment time. Two out of three times they tried to show up before the appointment time. - They left dirty dishes in my dish drain each time. read more

I would be very careful using this company for their services. They did one cleaning for me in July and charged $188.00. I called again and got a cleaning in December and was charged $288.00! $100.00 more for the same exact service! I was given no notification of any price change prior to being charged $288.00 on my credit card. I had to call them numerous times to try to get this resolved. When they finally did respond, they apologized and offered 10% off my next cleaning but no reimbursement or anything for the $288.00 charge. I will not be using them again. read more

We hired S&G to clean out our basement, which was a disaster, and they did an outstanding job.

We used S&G for about a year, and our initial cleaning was fine. However, the biweekly service continued to decline. In the end, I would come home to find that they had wiped AROUND the toaster and coffer maker, for example (???), failed to dust side tables, or even vacuumed around toys that my children had left on the floor. It was the kind of cleaning service that just does an okay job. It was better than no cleaning, but no where near worth what they were charging. read more

I would not recommend S&G. Their staff sprayed the wrong chemicals on our furniture resulting in damage, did not properly clean, and created headaches with their billing. Team was quick and attentive to getting my basement flooding addressed. Really cooperative and helpful.

They come in, are thorough and get every nook and cranny cleaned. We are happy with our commercial contract with them.

This service was horrible. We scheduled a move in cleaning for our new house and the service was 3 hours and they didn't clean the base boards or kitchen cabinets at all and the bathrooms were barely touched. I've had to spend hours cleaning because they did such a terrible job. On top of the poor cleaning, we were scheduled for carpet cleaning and they told me it had to be rescheduled and they would call me with times but never called me back. The customer service was minimal and the actual outcome was horrible. You wouldn't have known cleaners were here. I would not recommend you waste your money and time with this service. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this company. I found them serendipitously through Cleaning for a Reason-they actually donated their time and efforts to clean my house twice as a charity because I am very sick with cancer and it's nearly impossible to do it myself. After my gifted cleanings were up, I HAD to hire them while I recover from further surgeries and treatments. They are miracle workers, thorough and oh so positive and friendly to be around. It's a game changer-I just wish I found them years ago! Also, as a full disclosure: I am a neat freak. OCD. Extremely organized and very particular. My standards are sky high and I am the last person who thought they'd ever be able to recommend a cleaning service. read more

I can't recommend this service. They did an adequate job cleaning, but after they left one of the toilets was stuffed. No one was living in the home at the time, so it took us about a week to get a plumber. $155 later the plumber pulled out a green cleaning rag from the toilet. When I approached S & G they told me that any issues must be reported within 24 hours for consideration. In a second email I explained the situation that no one was living in the home, sent them the plumber's receipt showing what the problem was, and they did not even have the courtesy to respond. read more
