Excellent Milk Teas, drinks. We are here from out-of-town for my son's baseball games and it's just a few blocks from the Padres Training Facility. We've already made it a ritual to go here after games. I had the Ube-Horchata drink (which I highly recommend) and a Mangonada. My son's favorite is the Tiger Milk Tea. We also got the Garlic-flavored Popcorn Chicken (I wish I could capture how it smelled and post here), and it was well worth what you pay for. Workers were friendly and service was fast, although we did not really go during peak hours. Ambience was pretty chill with music not too loud. The Garlic noodles with shrimp were fantastic, but the Hot Cheetos Elotes were a bit underwhelming and not flavorful at all. Hours were never updated but we arrived there well over an hour before they closed. Food was good, service was ok until the guy told us they were closing soon BUT take our time...then 5 min later told us we had to leave (10 min before 9PM) so we took our food to eat outside and the fool turns off the lights outside! Service was terrible. We went in today around 4:45pm, brought our four kids in. They were very excited and of course ran up to the counter to order and tried ordering their boba drinks. He completely ignored them, didn't even look their way. He wasn't helpful with questions about ingredients either. Wow! Saw this place on a Fb post so me and my husband came to try it out and we are so happy we came! We got the xxtra hot Cheetos elote, honey bbq wings with garlic butter fries and then for drinks we did the Ube milkshake and Thai tea with boba. The wings were delicious and there was so much! It was not busy when the mini and I stopped in. We've been here many times and will be back again. The pina colada tastes like summertime in a cup. Coconut and pineapple with just a touch of strawberry. It's so refreshing, even when it's chilly but definitely when temps are hitting 115F. The watermelon slush is always amazing. Sweet watermelon in a cup, it tastes like a summer day in a water park when you take a break from the heat and have a slice of watermelon in the shade. I appreciate the summertime feels when it's 50F. The popcorn chicken is always good. I always get the salt and pepper, you can choose the spice level. I love the batter how it's crisp and thin, you're not eating a piece of chicken that's mostly batter. It's Taiwanese style I think. So so so good. I never go here without getting it. I was pretty shocked to see a zero degrees in Arizona especially since I moved from California so this was a nice surprise. It's in a busy plaza with other restaurants but there's plenty of parking. I usually get the jasmine milk tea which is my drink of choice but I saw that they had a new rising Phoenix oolong milk tea so I sampled it and loved it! I've been ordering it ever since. Oolong can be bitter but it is not too sweet or too bitter it's just right! They also sell food here and I've tried the popcorn chicken with rice and corn and you get to choose the sides depending on the entree and it's really good. Their popcorn chicken is bomb - chicken is moist and good seasoning. There's a bunch of other things on the menu like elote and slushee drinks that I see other people order so I might have to try that next time! read more

I haven't tried their other drinks only cause then I can't have the Pink Lychee too! Maybe some day I will branch out. I also have tried their food. I ordered the garlic shrimp with fries. The shrimp are pretty large but OMG, sooooo much garlic! The fries are stringy fries. With a wide range of frozen desserts and refreshing real-fruit drinks, Zero Degrees has become a leading purveyor for all sweet fanatics... at least, that was the case six years ago. Although Zero Degrees claims to strive for the best quality, daily-made frozen desserts, handcrafted drinks, and quick eats with top-notch customer service, it seems that they've steadily backslided since the publicity around Zero Degrees began to die down a few years ago. Just looking at the Yelp reviews and the photos Yelpers posted in 2017-2019, compared to more recently, one can immediately tell the difference in quality and quantity of the drinks/eats. Although it is uncertain why this may have become the case, it most likely contributed to the fall of Zero Degrees. If you stepped inside Zero Degrees six years ago, you would have to wait for an extended line outside the door. Now? There's hardly anyone there; I've visited this location over five times, and consistently, every time I walk in, there's no other customer. Besides the smaller portions of elote or carne asada fries and the less aesthetically pleasing (and not as flavorful) drinks, there is another drawback. The drinks are ridiculously sugary. You could pour a bottle to the brim with high-fructose corn syrup with a bit of yellow color dye, and I would not be able to tell the difference between that and the Mangonada. This place is nothing more than an elementary school kid's dream. I highly recommend you stay away if you're health conscious, even to the most diminutive extent. I will say, on the other hand, Zero Degrees' boba remains to be one of the best in Arizona. When it comes to boba (also known as bubble tea), consistency is what matters the most. Here, I've never had too thick or too chewy boba. Since it does not come with drinks by default, I highly recommend you order the "Honey Boba" as an additional topping. Unlike most, if not all, modern-day dessert places that serve drinks, at Zero Degrees, you can't lower/change the sugar level. Whether it's for their refreshers, slushes, or smoothies, it's impossible, which makes me wonder what their recipe is. Again, I'm assuming it's all premade, hence why you can't skip an additional syrup pump. Also, even though the place closes at 10 pm, do note that they tend to clean out the seating area (putting the tables up and chairs away) by 9 pm. Not sure if this is store policy, or the night shift employees trying to close earlier, but this has happened the past three visits). read more

I finally gave in and ordered from this place through DoorDash after looking at it every time I was ordering dinner. I only had their camo Thai tea and it's freaking amazing. Their camo Thai tea is essentially a Thai tea milkshake/slush with Oreo crumbs but it's such a good combination I wouldn't have thought of. I have been coming to this location countless times and the more I visit, the more disappointed I am. In this visit, my Mangonada was prepared unlike other times. Ice particles were as big as if the drink is a snow cone. I asked the staff to remake it and the second cup still has big ice particles. In both drinks, the staff member that was making the mangonada made the decision to prepare three 24 oz cups into one blender which filled the content all the way to the top until it touches the lid; this might explain why my drinks are filled with unblended crushed ice. I also ordered the garlic butter salt crispy wings. The wings have cheese on it!!! The menu did not state that the wings will be topped with cheese (I do not like cheese). Also, there was NO GARLIC BUTTER. I have had the garlic butter wings many times and I can assure you the wings I had this time was purely salt and cheese. This is a first for me - I come here more often for the food than I do for the drinks. I love their elotes, and i think their lunch special is a great deal! Worth it, hands down! I got the hot cheetos elotes with the garlic butter fries. Never had the garlic butter fries and was pleasantly surprised at its sweetness.
