I recently had Ryan's Structural Termite Control come out to treat my house for termites. I had 3 inspections and bids for the work. Ryan's was by far the most complete inspection. I am glad I went with them. The crew who did the work were not only thorough and professional, they were also very friendly. That was a plus! I contacted Ryan for a termite inspection after finding his business online. He arrived at the appointed time and got to work. I learned during our conversation that he had a crew that could fix some of the structural damage from termites and woodpeckers. After the termite treatment, his crew arrived to do the construction which required scaffolding to reach the top... three stories surrounded by uneven ground. His guys were friendly, showed up on time and got the job done in the time promised. On the last day, they cleaned up all the mess and hauled away the siding materiel they removed from the house. Had repairs from a fallen tree branch done and rain gutters installed at the same time. After multiple trips back to try and fix the rigged gutters had to have them removed. Funneled water toward the house rather than away and leaked in multiple areas even after a few attempts to resolve issues. We expected these guys to know what they were doing but not the case, big hassle. At least they refunded and removed the faulty gutters read more

Ryan told me he could handle construction of a large outdoor redwood deck. He said it would take a few weeks and his crew would be on it seven days a week. It took six months to finish, and multiple change orders escalated the price beyond all expectation. The finished deck is a mess, so poorly constructed I had to hire a real contractor to replace most of the posts. The final blow is it was stained in the wrong color and it's so sloppy it's embarrassing. I'm having to sand it all down and do it again, very expensive. I would not recommend Ryan to build ANY type of construction, he should stick to killing termites. So disappointed. read more

I contacted Ron for a quote and he came out and gave me a very high quote for repair and orange oil treatment. I specifically asked for a quote for Tenting. I received other quotes and went with another company. Today, I notice on my paypal account that Ron invoiced me for $1,600 dollars, which was not even the original quote. I call his business and asked curtly to have it removed immediately. I was very upset at the fact I never signed anything stating to move forward. We e-mailed back and forth and I really did not want the orange oil treatment. After calling Ron he sent me a text stating he removed the invoice and that I was dishonest with him and then he told me to F_ CK OFF! YES, I have the text and will be glad to show anyone who considers using this highly unethical and unprofessional company. RUN as far away as you can, if you are a woman he will be sure to tell you -you don't want to go with tenting-he will try to convince you to go with something far more expensive and then try to charge you way over market costs to repair and paint. I wasn't sure about the company at first because I read one bad review and 2 good reviews at yelp. Then Mr. Ryan came out to render free assessment of the house and confirmed our suspicion that we have termites. He explained to us the methods that his company uses, the options we have, and the estimate of how much it would cost. He sent us an email of the contract just in case we are interested to get his services. It was very thorough. We hired him and on the day of the service, a team of two led by John came to the house. They were punctual, respectful, and very knowledgeable on what they are doing. John and his partner were wearing masks and shoe covers whenever they enter the house.
