I cannot say enough about the QUALITY and SERVICE this company provides!!! I hired Advanced Pest Services when I bought my home over 12 years ago and that alone should tell you something about them! They provide excellent customer service and a quality product that literally can't be beat in my opinion. Things got tough one year and I thought to cut back on the spraying; OMG was that a terrible idea! You must maintain these critters and clearly their product WORKS! Needless to say, I hired them right back. The office personnel is top notch and will work with you no matter what the situation is. They aim to please for sure! Oh, and the best part is that if you see any critters in between sprays, THEY COME BACK OUT FOR FREE!!! I want to thank Rachel and the front desk staff especially because they are the kindest, most considerate to their customers. I had an issue with critters this year especially due to all the rain and wow did they go above and beyond to assist in my concerns! This is what excellent customers service should look like. You can't go wrong in using Advanced Pest Services - I cannot live comfortably without them LOL. Thank you for all your do! read more

5 years and counting - we have been with this pest control company! Very pleased! Jennifer and Rachael in the office ALWAYS conveniently coordinate our appt times on our 2 big properties. We have been using the pest services, as well as, the mosquito repellent tubs that are checked monthly. Cody and Breann are top notch techs that listen to requests, are friendly and ALWAYS on time. Highly recommend! Give them a call or text today. You won't be disappointed. read more

I have been a customer since 2013, their service is amazing and they always get the job done RIGHT!!! Their technicians are impeccable and reliable. I feel extremely safe, comfortable and happy when I see Cody or Sam pull up to my home. I highly recommend them!!! GOD Bless read more

Advanced Pest Services are fantastic at what they do. We started having issues with bugs in our garage and I do not play with that... lol. I researched several companies and they were recommended by a couple of people. I was able to get an appointment the same week. Cody was our technician and he was great! He made sure to get all of the spiderwebs outside, something that another company NEVER did when they serviced our house. He really took his time, answered my questions, and was very friendly. Since he sprayed we haven't noticed any new bugs in our garage. So far I'm very happy with their service and would definitely recommend! read more

We've worked with this company for a couple of years now and we did have some issues, but the way the office assistant Rachael handles problems is just amazing. Rachael is nothing but helpful, she really takes the time to listen to your problems and try to find a way to solve them. Her people skills are great and her problem-solving abilities are fantastic. She is definitely a gem. read more

Great Services Justin that comes out to our house is the greatest and goes above and beyond!! We love him

Our first time with Advanced Pest Service and we would definitely recommend them! Julian came out and was very friendly and answered all of our questions! He cleaned all of the cobwebs we had outside and really took the extra step! We are definitely pleased with Advanced & Julian!! read more

Used for a few years at first service was great but with each new employee the service slowly went down , eventually was paying for nothing . Be careful of who they send to have access to your home Long time user. read more

No customer service, no communication from their end. I had to call to find out why they changed my service date. I asked to speak to a manager and all I got was a text message from them. I ended up canceling my service with them. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, there are plenty of other pest control companies with better customer service. I tried canceling my service and your company wanted to charge me a termination fee. When I asked to speak to a manager all I got was a text telling me that you would waive the fee, that's it. You have time to send me that text message, to write a comment on my review, but you didn't have time to pick the phone and dial my number. I appreciate you trying to make it better but it's a little too late for that now. read more

Great pest control service today. Bri was my technician & she was friendly, yet very professional & courteous as well knowledgeable. I was very comfortable having her come into our home & I look forward to working with her in the future. read more

Justine always does a great job with "Advanced Pest Services". Sprays inside my house, outside my house, in my garage....all the spots I point out. Keeps 99.9% of all pest out of my house & keeps them to a bare minimum outside in shrubs & bushes. I live in Haggin Oaks so lots of vegetation for spiders to go. Always knocks down the very few webs I have at my property. Quick, efficent, & very respectable. I have been using Justine & "Advanced Pest Services" since 2017. 5 star highly recommended & I'm very picky. Even takes shoes off when in my house read more

Just want to send a shout to Julian from Advanced Pest Services! He was professional, thorough, efficient, and very polite!

I really like to recognize Advanced Pest Control Technician Justin. Justin has been spraying my house for quite some time and has done an outstanding job. Justin always goes above and beyond and definitely takes pride into his work. Thank you for your hard work and for the passion you put into your job !!!! read more

Wanted to give a shout-out to Justin for taking care of my parents home here in Bakersfield. I live in Orange County and work for another pest company and sadly I wasn't able to help them with their ant issues. I looked over all the companies in Bakersfield and felt Advanced was the best fit! My parents have dealt with ants for years and after one treatment Justin essentially got rid of all the ants. Thank you to Justin and Advanced Pest Services. Highly recommend! read more

Advance Pest is super affordable, works well in my home. It is so easy to reach out to them when suddenly you have surprise ants visiting and attacking. I LOVE the fact that Lauren who schedules my appointments even knows my name!!! Can it be that it shows up on caller ID I don't know but they make you feel like family! I've done business with them over a year now and it has always been the same tech Matt ,super cool guy. I don't like getting random people dealing with my home and personal space so that is awesome. And best of all they text you a week before schedule and a day before. And yes I'm the one who most of the time have to reschedule , but Lauren has never never gave me a hard time. She sets me right back in, thank you guys. Keep it up! read more

I've read a few poor reviews on here and I was very surprised. I've been using Advanced for about 5 years and can be a difficult customer. They have always been friendly, responsive and worked with our schedule. I think the service is outstanding. read more

I've used these folks for the past couple years now and I've been really happy with them. I pay for a full year in advance because they give a pretty good discount. They come every two months and spray inside and outside my home. They even clear away the cobwebs on any bushes or areas that may need it. The reason why I'm writing a review now is because of their great customer service. They always call at least a few days ahead of time to let me know they're coming and it's easy to reschedule if you won't be home. Even if you can't be home they will still spray just the outside of your house. Recently I needed the inside to be sprayed because I noticed some ants in our master bathroom. We had failed to be home the last couple times they came so it was never done. When I called it was nice to find out that they do this for free! They told me if you are seeing bugs in between sprays they come out and do it again! For FREE! They even asked if I wanted my garage sprayed which I never even thought about that. Everyone from their office employees to their technicians are really friendly and the service is affordable and definitely worth it to be bug free. read more

I appreciate the quality service from Nick, the technician. He is well versed of the information he shares while working quickly and efficiently with a friendly attitude. He even brings a treat for my dog. This service keeps pests including rodents at bay. Good job guys. read more

I moved into an older home with lots of trees in a huge ass yard. There's bugs everything. Springtime = spiders. I hate spiders. I haven't been right ever since my punk cousin made me watch that horrid 90s film Arachnophobia. I couldn't deal with the bug situation anymore...time to call an exterminator. This company was professional and courteous each time I called for an appointment or when they came out to my house. The saleswoman didn't try to sell me an aggressive bug plan during my initial call, she recommended the minimum I needed and told me I could scale up if I needed to. The technician that came to my house was right on time, was very knowledgeable, and did his job efficiently. It's been a week and I haven't seen very many live bugs in my yard. I haven't seen spiders, either. They even offered to come out again before my next service date if I noticed increased bug activity. I'm satisfied - I'll keep using their services. read more

I absolutely love this company! They always send out plenty of notice before they arrive with either a call or text (your preference) and they have never flaked on showing up the day they've scheduled. The office staff is great & I always like any of the technicians that are sent out. It's a family run business too, so that's a big plus!!! They always come out for extra visits if you have a pest outbreak in between services and they've even let me borrow mouse traps free of charge! You will not regret working with these guys for your pest control needs! read more

Yes they come out on their regular schedule for the past year. But the 2 times I have called, 1. when the cobwebs weren't brushed off, I was told the spiders come back in 10 minutes and just made all new ones! Really, in the same exact places? And today, 2. I called as I thought they must have left early because the auto sprinkler came on, and he had not sprayed in the back yet. I was told he did that first and it's dry already. Never mind that I am sitting in the room that faces the backyard! He was only 4 doors away when I called and had not come back to finish the job nor had mgr called Me back. Time to find a new service that doesn't argue with customers! read more

Thank you to Advanced Pest Services. You guys have always been reliable, friend, kind and very helpful with everything. Thank you to Sam and Cody who have been out to spray and have done an amazing job. Both were friendly, kind and customer service from these two were 10/10. Thank you! read more

They didn't remove the cobwebs around the house and their pesticide spray is not that good. We had a problem with fleas and tick. We have NEVER had a problem with ticks until now. The service people are alright, but we feel like we get blowed off most of the time. There are a lot of spiders around our house as if we had no pest control. We are going to switch to another pest control. read more

This company is an example of what being an expert in your field looks like. I can only sing praises of my interactions with Nick and Rachel. Nick has a charismatic personality, but also insight that follows suit. We were amazed with his depth of knowledge and commitment to treating each customer individually. Rachel is a absolute great first touch. Her ability to make anything work with poise stood out and put the final stamp of SOLD on this company. We would recommend this duo to anyone we run across. Thanks Rachel & Nick! read more

Julian did such an amazing job at our house!! Got our webs down and carefully treated all the areas of concern I had. Looking forward to a bug free summer! read more

This company is not worth your time or money. They do very mediocre work and don't really seem like they care about making your home bug free. They come and spray for about 10 mins and leave. They don't do anything extra or what is needed to get their job completed correctly. read more

We have been using Advanced Pest Services for several years now and are very happy with their services. They come every other month to spray our house and yard, and on those rare instances when we've experienced a problem in-between scheduled visits, they've been wonderful about coming back to perform an additional spraying. I am especially happy with Cody's wonderful customer service. He is very kind and personable and an awesome representative for APS. read more

Great work when they come out. Left the rat traps for the neighborhood rats Pointed out how to secure the house and garage so winter pest would not get in. With a baby in the house they spray with organic control in the house When we have a new breach of ants. I give them a call they come out and ants are dead the next day and no mo ants. The text/call when they are on the way to the house. Friendly family owned and knowledgeable read more

We've lived in hot and humid and now hot and dry. In both cases we used professional pest control services. By far, Advanced Pest Services have been the most responsive and most effective. The ants showed up recently so we called the guys up - they came out and not only are the ants gone, but there are dead roaches - I didn't even know they were around. Also, APS is less expensive than the national services and a family-owned business. Good job! read more

no communication horrible customer service. they will charge you take your money and not ever service your house they will say they went out and you were not home and try to charge your to go back. when i called to figure out why they technician didn't show up the lady that answered was rude would not transfer me to a manager or owner didnt want to give me and number to talk to some one else.i paid for a service that never got done. no you did not offer to go back out you wanted to charge .i do have the video he did not knock on my door probably knocked at wrong door. its funny how you can reply to this review but when i asked to talk to you i was told i couldn't your business if trash your customer service is trash ! and i will be filling a complaint with better business bureau!! The fact you couldn't talk to me over the phone and shows you shady and don't care about your customers but you real quick to try to justify your company actions when people put you out on blast ! read more

I had a Bed Bug problem (and believe you me, they are a problem!) last October (2013) and decided to give a local company a shot. I travel a lot and most likely brought them home in my suitcase. (I have since learned how to look for bed bugs in a hotel room so this can never happen again!) By the time I noticed where the bites were coming from, I learned how to look for them and was getting close to being almost out of control. John came out within a day or 2 to inspect and give me a quote on pricing. I thought it was a fair price and paid him to do the job. No Pest Control Company can guarantee that they can get rid of them completely because if a few hide deep somewhere, they will start the cycle all over. I can say now that after 6 months, he got rid of them all and I could not be happier. There is so much work that has to be done prior to the first spay it's unbelievable but if you're not very thorough, you will not succeed. I did lot's of researching on the internet about how to prepare and of course, John gave us a list of what to do. John came out on 4 different occasions and the last one was just a courtesy to take a quick check. I felt really good about him and explaining things so I could understand. Highly recommended from me! read more

They sprayed my house inside and outside. They even cleaned the spider webs, however, one younger gentleman did a poor job cleaning the spider webs from the windows. They came to my property in Bakersfield but would not service another property in McFarland. If you live in Bakersfield, they are great. read more

This company seems affordable but lack results. If you compliant about the lack of results they will tell you to cancel their service. Nick and Advanced Pest are absolutely awesome! They remind me when they will be at my house and they are there on time and do my service quick and clean. Thanks Nick! I recommend Advanced Pest to everyone! read more

This company was hired to eradicate a problem in our home, however after several visits for service, we are still left with the same problems - there was not even any improvement. We paid out $132 for no results. They also give you an "8 to 5" kind of appointment - leaving you to try and arrange someone to be available all day waiting for them. Since they gave us no results, and only did half the service in June- I asked if we could work out a partial refund for the month but they said their policy states they can just spray outside if no one is home. We tried to set an appointment with them to come back and do the inside (where the problem is) and they did not respond. We finally decided to cancel, after giving them several chances to 1) deliver results, and 2) communicate with us for an appointment. read more

If I could give a 0, I would. They showed up without an appointment and just sprayed the front yard even though we wanted the inside and back yard done. I told them they needed to come back if they wanted to get their money and they said they would need to charge me for an additional visit even though they did not complete the last visit. We kept calling asking them to come back out but both sides were on a stand off. We were not going to pay unless we got a complete visit and they were not going to come out without an additional charge. Needless to say, I never paid and now I've been sent to collections. read more
