I was driving from San Diego to the Midwest with my little 8 lb dog when I blew a tire on I-70. I was already overwhelmed, and being stranded on the side of the highway with my dog was honestly terrifying. I initially pulled over near a different tow truck driver and asked him for help. He quoted me $980 to get to Denver and told me that was just the going rate for the area. Feeling completely defeated, I got back in my car and sat there for a minute trying to figure out what I was going to do. And then Brandon appeared -- and legitimately saved me. From the second he stopped, he was calm, collected, incredibly helpful, and so genuinely down to earth. He ended up towing me all the way to the Denver Airport so I could swap out my rental car, and the entire ride felt like talking to an old friend I'd known for years... except I had literally just met him. After such a stressful situation, Brandon genuinely restored a little of my faith in humanity. That kind of kindness sticks with you, especially when you're scared, far from home, and having a really bad day. Ryan's Recovery is absolutely spectacular. It says a lot about a company when their team is so vigilant that someone notices a stranded driver who needs help and actually stops. I'm incredibly grateful Brandon happened to come along when he did. Thank you, Brandon. You turned what could have been one of the worst parts of my trip into one of the most unexpectedly positive ones. read more

A Ryans Recovery truck (license ROY 641) was aggressively tailgating cars on Interstate 70 near Georgetown on November 30th. Such dangerous driving for a towing company is atrocious, and the driver does not have the temperament to be on the road with other vehicles read more

Was driving home frpm Denver to Vegas and my call overheated. Dennis with this compamy saw us and pulled over. We were have trouble woth AAA renewing our service they kept haning up and they were horrible. Anyway. Shane is an absolute badass, I was passing through Silverthorne CO during a crazy storm for work and I was completely unprepared for the weather conditions. I ended up being stranded on the side of the road and was in a pretty dangerous location. Shane explained to me how to get my chains on my RWD truck so I can drive safely and got me out of the situation safely. If you get helped by a guy named Shane just know you'll be alright! read more

I dont leave too many reviews but this is necessary recognition. I got into a messy situation at the lily pad lake trail head after a ton of snow came. This company is super professional and got to me in a timely manner and made sure i was helped (and it was no easy trick) Ask for Shane if youre in a jam, he is a ninja at towing, big thanks to him and Quentin. Dropped my rental car keys down an elevator shaft, and I had no idea what I was going to do. I basically tried everyone option, and on the last night, I stumbled upon them via Google. They towed my car back and dropped it off at the rental company, so I was able to catch my flight with no worry. With AAA+ it was free, and a true lifesaver. Hopefully, I never need to use them again, but if I do, and I'm in this area.... they are my go to!!!!!! read more

I was beyond impressed with this company and the driver that came to tow our car after an accident. I wish I could remember his name but he was very professional and helpful. In fact, he suggested we contact AAA to up our coverage so we could tow the vehicle for more than our normal 7 miles. He had no problem towing the vehicle all the way down to the Front Range from Copper. I hope to not need a towing company again, but if I do I would not hesitate to us Ryan's Recovery. read more

Thomas saved our butts! This kid was so patient, kind and super helpful. Would definitely recommend them! We came to Breckenridge to ski in a beautiful rental car and somehow drove over an "S" hook that punctured the tire on our first day here. It did not deflate but nonetheless, we were afraid to drive the car too far. Our rental car agency said we had to have it towed and then they'd fix it there. After a couple of frustrating hours talking to our insurance company, roadside assistance, AMEX, and the car rental company about 10 times, I found Ryan's Recovery on Google!! Two happy men came to our door with smiles on their faces and just could not have been any nicer or more service-oriented. Good to know this kind of old-fashioned service still exists and is way up here in the mountains. Thank you, Ryan!!! read more

Very impressed with the speed, safety and friendliness that Ryan (and his dog Sky!) brought to a stressful departure from snowy Breckenridge!! read more

My rental car had flat tire, they came very quickly like in 15 minutes instead of the over 1 hour that dispatch says it might take. They were not able to tow me because the bureaucracy of Enterprise car rental wouldn't approve it since I contacted them via my AAA membership. They inflated my tire so that I could drive it to the Silverthorne Enterprise location. Enterprise why did you risk your vehicle's and renter's safety and time? read more

I had the unfortunate experience of my rental SUV (a Mercedes GLC wtf?!?) getting stuck in the *driveway* of the house I rented in Breckenridge because it had summer tires on it and it was just too steep, slick and cold for traction. I called Ryan's and they were there the next morning to winch me out in about 20 minutes. It cost me $150 and was humiliating (a Mercedes wtf?!?)... but from the phone call to the tow truck this business was friendly, professional, and had a great attitude. The dispatcher on the phone knew my specific neighborhood as soon as I called which was reassuring. I'm thankful for them. (and the rental car company ultimately reimbursed me for the tow charge..). Seems a little expensive (this kind of tow in the northeast would cost $75) ... but these guys are friendly and honest, competent, know the area, and you should go to them first. read more

Stuck in a 25 mile long traffic jam heading east up I-70 before the Eisenhower Tunnel, suddenly white smoke started belching out of my hood. I pulled over and could see at least five other cars in the same situation. I called my insurance, my insurance called Ryan's Recovery, and within 15 minutes Travis showed up with his dog, Hooch, in the cab. Travis had picked up another vehicle, and then mine. He made sure I was comfortable with the dog's presence, then went on to be far more professional, pleasant and welcoming than I have ever expected from a tow truck driver. He had anecdotes from his past as a mechanic, from his Llama raising, chatted about his plans to surprise his kids with a car, and kept us all smiling, laughing and chatting until everyone was taken care of. If I'm ever in a bind out that way again, I'll call Ryan's Recovery just to see if Travis is available again to help me out. Really a great experience. read more

I was traveling to Denver when my Jeep decided to die in one of the worse spots on I-70. I was able to go in reverse and pull over on a safe spot. I called my insurance and I was told they only covered 15mi. I was 100 miles from home. I was told it would cost me over $500 to get my car home. Without a choice I agreed. I received a call from Luke with Ryan's Recovery telling me he was on his way. He showed up sooner than I thought which was great because it was less than 50 min which is what the insurance had told me. He advised me to contact AAA so I did and I needed up paying less than the estimated cost by joining. Long story short Luke got me and my car home safe. I was treated professionally and most importantly he showed up to pick me up sooner than I thought. Luke was very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend Ryan's recovery and I will be using them in the future when needed. read more

Great response time. Very professional. Gary took most excellent care of my car. Highly recommend

Blew a tire 2 miles from the continental divide. Call AAA and they sent us to Ryan's, absolutely amazing service, was there in 15 minutes, Kyle from Ryan's was very fast and super friendly. Even got to say hello to his dogs in the truck on the tow to Denver! read more

We were put in touch with Ryan's Recovery through AAA. After losing our rental car keys on the slopes somewhere in Keystone, Evan came out to tow our car to the nearest dealership to hopefully get new keys programmed. Unfortunately that didn't work out and Evan was proactive in figuring out alternatives. While we tried talking to the rental company, he drove us to a location within 7 miles (free with basic AAA roadside assistance) so that we could get lunch, watch a movie, shop a little while waiting for what we had to do - get a locksmith. He also found us a reliable locksmith that he had used in the past and as out of towners, that was extremely useful. Coming from him, this reference was enough for us to use the locksmith without question. Evan was GREAT. He took care of the care, he made it easy, he made it stress-free. I would definitely use him again! read more

Broke down going up to the tunnel. Brandon was there fast and was amazing. Got me where i needed to go and never had to worry about anything else. we called Ryan to get help with a stuck car at our AirBnB- he was quick, helpful and extremely friendly! He answered all questions we had and got us down the mountain without a problem. We then found ourselves freaked out and stuck on top of another mountain during a snow storm trying to get ourselves out of breckenridge and he called us to make sure we were okay- then proceeded to come get us AGAIN and help us on our way. He is extremely caring, responsible, understanding and helpful. My family and I recommend him 100%! Thanks Ryan!! read more

Can't say nicer things about these guys. We were driving on one of the mountain passes and slid off the road. Ryan's Recovery - Thank you for saving my truck from certain death! - Towing Near Me - Breckenridge, Colorado

I could not ask for better service, both over the phone and in person. It initially appeared that I was going to need a tow all the way back to Denver, which would have been quite expensive. Before loading the car on the truck, though, they looked into alternative explanations for what could be causing the trouble and they were able to fix it on the spot. Trust established, and real help provided. What more can one ask for? read more

SHANE IS THE MAN! Me and my buddy were locked out of our car at copper mountain and Shane went above and beyond to help us.

I had my car break down on the way back to Denver and Shane with Ryan's recovery went out of his way first to pick me up and make sure I was out of the sun when he didn't have to, before picking up his other tow job. He was fun and friendly, and gave me multiple recommendations on options for how I could get my car fixed for a more affordable option that I would have known about. Highly recommend Shane and Ryan's recovery! read more

Once again appalled by the service from Ryan's recovery. My roommate's car was dead and when the Ryan's recovery driver arrived and jumping the car didn't work he told us "I don't know that much about cars." Clearly not in the correct line of work then. He then left and we were left in the same position we were before. Now the second time I have been extremely disappointed. Too bad they are basically the only service here in the county... read more

The guys at Ryan's Recovery were so awesome! My car broke down in the middle of the road pretty far from my house, on a night that was fridgid (-1 degrees!).
