We were have trouble woth AAA renewing our service they kept haning up and they were horrible. Anyway. Dennis made me and my family feel safe first of all, he stayed with us over an hr and a half waiting for triple A to get their act together.he was the absoluye nicest tow guy we have ever encountered. Dropped my rental car keys down an elevator shaft, and I had no idea what I was going to do. I basically tried everyone option, and on the last night, I stumbled upon them via Google. They towed my car back and dropped it off at the rental company, so I was able to catch my flight with no worry. With AAA+ it was free, and a true lifesaver. I was beyond impressed with this company and the driver that came to tow our car after an accident. I wish I could remember his name but he was very professional and helpful. In fact, he suggested we contact AAA to up our coverage so we could tow the vehicle for more than our normal 7 miles. We came to Breckenridge to ski in a beautiful rental car and somehow drove over an "S" hook that punctured the tire on our first day here. It did not deflate but nonetheless, we were afraid to drive the car too far. Our rental car agency said we had to have it towed and then they'd fix it there. After a couple of frustrating hours talking to our insurance company, roadside assistance, AMEX, and the car rental company about 10 times, I found Ryan's Recovery on Google!! My rental car had flat tire, they came very quickly like in 15 minutes instead of the over 1 hour that dispatch says it might take. They were not able to tow me because the bureaucracy of Enterprise car rental wouldn't approve it since I contacted them via my AAA membership. I had the unfortunate experience of my rental SUV (a Mercedes GLC wtf?!?) getting stuck in the *driveway* of the house I rented in Breckenridge because it had summer tires on it and it was just too steep, slick and cold for traction. I called Ryan's and they were there the next morning to winch me out in about 20 minutes. It cost me $150 and was humiliating (a Mercedes wtf?!?)... but from the phone call to the tow truck this business was friendly, professional, and had a great attitude. The dispatcher on the phone knew my specific neighborhood as soon as I called which was reassuring. I'm thankful for them. (and the rental car company ultimately reimbursed me for the tow charge..). Seems a little expensive (this kind of tow in the northeast would cost $75) ... but these guys are friendly and honest, competent, know the area, and you should go to them first. read more

Stuck in a 25 mile long traffic jam heading east up I-70 before the Eisenhower Tunnel, suddenly white smoke started belching out of my hood. I pulled over and could see at least five other cars in the same situation. I called my insurance, my insurance called Ryan's Recovery, and within 15 minutes Travis showed up with his dog, Hooch, in the cab. Travis had picked up another vehicle, and then mine. He made sure I was comfortable with the dog's presence, then went on to be far more professional, pleasant and welcoming than I have ever expected from a tow truck driver. He had anecdotes from his past as a mechanic, from his Llama raising, chatted about his plans to surprise his kids with a car, and kept us all smiling, laughing and chatting until everyone was taken care of. If I'm ever in a bind out that way again, I'll call Ryan's Recovery just to see if Travis is available again to help me out. Really a great experience. read more

I was traveling to Denver when my Jeep decided to die in one of the worse spots on I-70. I was able to go in reverse and pull over on a safe spot. I called my insurance and I was told they only covered 15mi. I was 100 miles from home. I was told it would cost me over $500 to get my car home. Without a choice I agreed. I received a call from Luke with Ryan's Recovery telling me he was on his way. He showed up sooner than I thought which was great because it was less than 50 min which is what the insurance had told me. He advised me to contact AAA so I did and I needed up paying less than the estimated cost by joining. Long story short Luke got me and my car home safe. I was treated professionally and most importantly he showed up to pick me up sooner than I thought. Luke was very friendly and kind. We were put in touch with Ryan's Recovery through AAA. After losing our rental car keys on the slopes somewhere in Keystone, Evan came out to tow our car to the nearest dealership to hopefully get new keys programmed. Unfortunately that didn't work out and Evan was proactive in figuring out alternatives. While we tried talking to the rental company, he drove us to a location within 7 miles (free with basic AAA roadside assistance) so that we could get lunch, watch a movie, shop a little while waiting for what we had to do - get a locksmith. He also found us a reliable locksmith that he had used in the past and as out of towners, that was extremely useful. Coming from him, this reference was enough for us to use the locksmith without question. Evan was GREAT. He took care of the care, he made it easy, he made it stress-free.
