This is a great find. Ryan was responsive, understood what I wanted and delivered much quicker than I expected. I love the way my Rover sounds now, it's finally drivable over long distances without me getting deaf and the increased performance is a bonus. I sure Will bring my 91 landcruiser, that was bogged up by someone else and I think I finally found someone I trust! read more

Definitely stop for a quote there, honest business that's been around forever, are very knowledgeable and did not sell me unnecessary parts or labor.Cant recommend highly enough. Their review scores reflect what I'm saying. read more

I took my 2006 Toyota Corolla S in because my exhaust was quite rusted & had broken at the flange. I could smell the exhaust in my car, the back end was rattling, and my car sounded incredibly loud. Thankfully, I decided to come here. He offered me a few fixes but I went with the long term fix and he replaced a good amount of my exhaust/muffler parts for me. They had it finished after 24 hours, and it is running perfectly! No smell, no rattle, and my car is quieter than it was even before my exhaust broke. Plus, now I have some shiny new parts underneath my car! Only spent 250$, which is much less than the 1100$ I was told at a simple tire place. Go with Ryan Muffler! read more

I would never consider going anywhere else for exhaust work on my vehicles. Ryan does awesome work and very affordable. They do what is necessary and won't try to sell you anything that's not necessary. I highly recommend this business, AAA +++ read more

They were responsive and very helpful. They could have said the damage was more extensive to charged more. They didn't and actually came in a little under the original quote. We had the car back in less than three business days, and that includes waiting for the parts to come in. Now, it's only been a few days so if the fix doesn't last I will update but, so far, I'm extremely please with Ryan Muffler Center. read more

Great service and price! Family owned shop, got in and put my name on the list, they had what my car needed in stock! Some others in the waiting area drove from Northgate to have two of his cars fixed, said he's been coming to Ryan's for years. Every customer in the place said its the best in town! Very pleased!! read more

They are the best! It's first come, first serve and the earlier the better, but with honest work and great prices, it's worth the wait! Plus, even the customers are nice that I sat with and recommended other places for things I need to get done with my house, etc. as I am new to the area. :) Love this family business! read more

I'm 43, I've had many vehicles of the years and I've been coming here ever since I've been driving. I just brought my honda ridgeline in due to a rattle coming from exhaust, turns out it was just a loose bolt tapping the exhaust that needed to be tightened, but didn't charge me a cent! Super honest, love the old tv in the waiting room. I now live in Cincinnati and will always make the drive if I need muffler work. read more

Feel guilty I didn't post a review the first time I visited this shop. But after the second, I made sure I did. These guys straight up know their business, get it done right, get it done quickly and don't charge an arm and leg. They explained the issues they found, ran down what needed to be done, gave a fair and accurate estimate then showed the finished job before asking for payment. Just get there early because folks will actually camp out before they open their doors. read more

Great honest shop, I was referred to Ryan's by a reputable transmission shop. Ryan's got me in same day, isolated my rattling issues and fixed one with some tack welds and advised me about the second one. They were honest and helpful no fear tactics and no pressure. I highly recommend this shop! read more

I've always gone to my local mechanic is Elsmere for all my car woes, including exhaust issues. No more. I did a bang up job of putting a hole in my exhaust pipe in the Turfway Remke parking lot (going 5 miles an hour...really.), and decided that instead of taking it to our garage who says, "sure, drop it off and we'll call you...." (3 days later!!!!), I told my husband that we were going to try Ryan, since they're right up the street, they've been in business forever, and even my Dad trusted them, which says a lot--my father trusted noone! I figured that if it's going to be something major, I might as well take it to someone who has the ability to cut pipe themselves, opposed to a garage who has to order the pipe. I'm learning this stuff the hard way, but I'm learning! Dropped it off this morning at 8, it was ready at 10:00 and get this--costs us $35.00. We'll definitely be back. For a first time experience, this was a major positive. read more

Have taken a car/truck here 3 times. 1st time (car) thought I needed a whole new exhaust, they said it was a heat shield...fixed it no charge. 2nd time (truck) thought I'd be paying way more for an exhaust than I did 3rd time, expected to need a whole new exhaust. They showed me where the previous owners had a spot welded that should have had a spring/flexible joint (?). The spot had split. The fixed it for about 1/3 of the cost of a new exhaust. Incredible and honest place. Sooooo rare read more

Ryan Muffler once again fixed my vehicle at a more than reasonable price. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Highly recommended. read more

Installed a new muffler and tip on my truck. Looks great sounds great and price was great. Staff is friendly and answered all of my questions. I have had exhaust repairs done at other chain shops and the welds were awful. The welds and piping look great on my truck. Will definitely continue to use Ryan Muffler. read more

I called them about my whole exhaust pipe with the resonator and muffler needing replaced they gave me a ballpark over the phone. I called a few other places and they wanted to replace more than I needed so it was much much more. I dropped the car off at 2pm and they said it would be a 90 minute wait before they could look at it so I left and waited their call. After seeing it in person a little more needed to be done but they were within 50 dollars of the original quoted price. I told them that is fine and said I would pick it up Monday. He then told me they would have it done that day by close. Went and picked it up car sounds wonderful and they did an amazing job and the fact it was done same day was huge. I will defiantly be back for anything I need done to my exhaust. They run a good shop with employees who are knowledgeable and service oriented. read more

Nice folks, not sure what a muffler should cost but mine cost $450, seems reasonable, did a y pipe from the catalytic converter back, done the same day. Just a good basic mechanics. read more

Exhaust was rusted and broken in two places, went in at 4pm and was out by 5:30pm. Fast, Quick, and not expensive, cost $325 for center pipe, muffler, resonator and tail pipe. If I have any trouble with another car will go there again. read more

These guys always treat me right and always show me what the problem is, so I know I'm not being ripped off. I've never had a bad experience here in the 15 years I've been bringing my noisy exhaust systems to them. Highly recommend. read more

This has been hands down the worse experience I have had in my life. If I could give them a 0 star I would. I had an exhaust put onto my car at this shop on 1/13/2018, I had called and talked to multiple different employees about the work I wanted done, I believe a total of 4 times. I had told them to create a custom exhaust off of my oem downpipe but had stressed that the v-ban clamp system needed to be fully in tact. They yet again assured me they could meet my requests when I spoke to them on 1/13/2018 via phone call. When I picked up my car after the work was done I was unable to see the work but was assured it was exactly as I had asked. A total of 260 dollars was spent in parts and labor. After I was able to get underneath of my car I noticed they had welded the exhaust onto my downpipe ruining the original downpipe in the process. So I called the shop explaining what they had done wrong and they instructed me to bring the car in so they could look at it. I took the car to them and they put it on the lift and told me that they had never said they could work with v-band clamps and that I was aware before they did the work that this would be the final result. I told them to uphold the original verbal contract that they had agreed to and accepted payment in return for. They refused to fix their mistake and attempted to charge me again to fix the issue only they had created. So in conclusion this shop will lie to your face to get you in the door, do an awful job on the work you want done, and then attempt to charge you to fix what they have done. I wish I could say anything good about this company but even the owner was completely unwilling to make any better of the situation. I just don't want anyone else to have to deal with the absolutely horrible and scandalous experience that I have had to deal with. read more

I searched out Ryan's as I always prefer the small indy shops over the chains. I only needed a small job done and they had me in and out very quickly. I plan on bringing my other car in for some custom work soon. If your looking for an excellent shop for exhaust work I highly recommend these guys. I know they've earned my future business. Thanks for the torch work guys! read more

Ryan's Muffler is my go-to place for any ills that have been plaguing my muffler/exhaust systems. By far one of the best automotive service businesses around. Ryan mufflers has been a mainstay of the Florence area and I have taken countless cars there. I recently took my 1999 Jeep Cherokee there. I was under the impression that the vehicle had a faulty cat converter and had asked them to replace both. They came back and told me that the cat was fine and that the muffler was the only problem. Saved me over $200! Most automotive repair companies would have just done the work without telling the customer the truth. Not only that they had it done in the amount of time most places take to change oil. I will always use Ryan muffler for any exhaust needs and will send my kids there as well. Fantastic service at a very reasonable cost! read more

I've been to Ryan Muffler several times in the past with different cars. They've always done great work at a fair price, and their work quality is top notch. As others have stated, they usually take me to the car while it is up on the lift and show me what the exact problem is. I will always go to shops that aren't hiding behind the "No customers allowed in the work area" sign! read more

My 2003 Corolla abruptly became very loud whenever I hit the accelerator. I suspected that there was something wrong with the exhaust system based on my limited knowledge of cars and some online searches. I did a search online and on Yelp and found Ryan Muffler Center which had great reviews (although limited in number). I decided to take my car there to have them check it out. They were busy and it took about half an hour before they could get it lifted and check it out. It turns out my muffler broke off the exhaust pipe at a ball joint and was just hanging disconnected. They offered to replace the joint and replace the muffler for 150, but since I wasn't planning on keeping the car much longer, they were able to replace just the joint for 75. Fast forward a couple weeks, and I started noticing that my car was making a similar noise but only intermittently. I dropped it off with Ryan again. Again they were busy, but they called me in 30-40 minutes to tell me they had the car up and it looked like the noise was probably from a heat shield rusting off the catalytic converter. They removed the rusted piece off at no cost and took care of the noise. They do good work at a good price, and I feel they were very good at informing me what the problem was before doing any work. Since I was ok just dropping off my car both times to let them work on it, I can't comment on wait times and repair speed but I was very happy with the service I received. I'm hoping I don't have any more problems with my car before I replace it, but I wouldn't hesitate to take it back there if needed. read more
