I tried making an appointment with Ryan Dealership and was told they no longer service vehicles over 10 years old. Never given thoughts to the facts that I purchased my 2014 Cadililac cts sport from them when it was 3 years old. They are the only one I let service my vehicle. Talk about a slap in the face. Well I got news for you. I gladly found another dealership who don't share the same negative views as you do. Let me share this too. They can still change your oil but nothing else. I was told they could hold a vehicle for a week to give me time to arrange a ride to come pick it up. I took time off work, canceled meetings, and got my mom to come stay with my dying grandmother so my pawpaw could take me out there. I had to call them as he was picking me up for them to tell me they'd sold this truck days ago out from under me that I'd made the first appointment to come see. The director, owner, and manager should be ashamed of how they run this business. They don't care about people. They care about money. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Do NOT use Ryan service ever! I asked them to fix a broken door lock and a window that wouldn't go up. They wanted to charge me $1500 to fix these 2 items and the "free estimate" is total crap! They charge $200 just to tell you what's wrong, I mean how can they fix what's wrong without figuring it out? Oh and they don't tell you about the $200 up front! They wait until they give you the "free estimate" only to see it's not so free.. you really don't know what part you need to fix a window? I was broke down on the road in a hotel with three grandchildren and two dogs my wife and towing a trailer. My transmission went out and my service advisor Annie Gilbert was there for me when I most needed help. She made arrangements for me to store my trailer while my truck was being repaired. She spoke to me everyday about the status of the repairs being done. Then delivered my truck a day early. What a remarkable difference that all made for me. DO NOT USE RYAN HONDA MONROE, LA! Took car to Ryan Honda Monroe with blown fuse. Because after-market LED fog lights were seen, service dept refused to locate damaged wire. However, they do decide to remove blown fuse & replace it with much larger fuse. (Is this seriously ever ok?) No repair order written or submitted for this. Damaged wire blowing fuse never located or disconnected. Larger fuse placed resulted in allowing circuit to bypass & burn down to wiring harnesses causing major damage/melting to both. Ryan Honda claims no responsibility & I'm then forced to pay for repairs at Holmes Honda. Once properly diagnosed at Holmes, larger fuse is determined to be direct cause of damage. Ryan Honda Operation's Manager is notified & then asks Holmes Service Manager 'under the table' not mention them placing the larger fuse in his final report. Apparently, Ryan Honda is willing to set aside their integrity & breach all standard code of conduct/ethics for less than $1800...less than half of what I have already paid out in repairs. Chain of command with communication was followed all the way to Dealership President & I have kept legal documentation (burden of proof) stating damage was directly caused by larger fuse installed. Unfortunately, because repair order was never made, verbal admittance of guilt from multiple Ryan Honda employees for installing larger fuse is all I have. Reached out to Ryan Honda President & was informed that the larger fuse that has been admitted to being installed & discussed for 3+ months.....Never. Even. Happened. Just WOW. Ryan Chevrolet sold me a 2016 Jeep Cherokee that I was pleased until I noticed that the front end had been hit. It was hard to see because the lower grill is black. I thought at one point the car was hit at the airport. I could not even think that Ryan would sell me a damaged car until I looked at the pictures I took just after I got it home and there it was. the front end is pushed up and the grill damage is around 700.00 dollars to fix. The dealership gets 4 starts (not 5 Stars as the lobby and refreshments could have more amenities such as free soft drinks (besides coffee) and bottled water. Also, more relaxing space. I am so anxious when dealing with car dealerships, I never tend to trust them and have had awful experiences. But Ryan Autogroup, and specifically Scott Turner and Gordon Kindrix, have won me over for life. We were the victims of identity theft, and did not know it. The thief tried to buy a car from Ryan AutoGroup, having all of our information. Upon delivery, they did not feel comfortable with the situation and thought it may be fraud, so they pulled the plug on the deal. Then Gordon and Scott went through extraordinary lengths to try to reach out to us. They found us, on Facebook of all things, and alerted us. We were able to stop the delivery of two other cars the thief had purchased, in addition to several credit cards. To be that honest, to be more concerned with safety than the sale, I am just humbled and impressed. Everything they have done has shown me they are honest, worthy of any business, and although I live in Texas I will definitely look on their site when we are in the market for another car. One year later my local Chevy Dealer (both Service and sales manager) discover that this truck had been wrecked previously and had significant repair done to it (within two minutes of looking at it). Upon contacting Ryan Chevrolet, FIRST I was asked " well has it given you any trouble?"Then I was told "well, we all make mistakes sometimes". NO apologies, NO offer to refund any money for the mistake, just "well bring it down and you can trade it in if you're not happy with it". The offered me $24000. My 2013 XTS Cadillac is approaching the end of 50,000 Bumper-to-Bumper warranty. There was one recall + a few things I wanted Ryan Chevrolet Cadillac to look at. On June 15, 2016, I called and made an appointment to drop my car off the following week. On June 23, 2016, I dropped the Caddy off. They never could get to it to service it. On July 1, 2016, I picked the car up. Eight days without a car, and they never even brought it into the shop. EIGHT DAYS. I will never do business with Ryan Chevrolet Cadillac again. This weekend, I'm taking my car back to Wagner Cadillac in Tyler, TX, where it was purchased. Shame on you Ryan Chevrolet Cadillac. Not a way to run a business. read more

I think everyone by now knows about the recall on the ignitions on lots of vehicles. I have a 2002 Cadillac and I have been calling them for many weeks and even went down there a couple of times after I received the recall paper in the mail. All they would tell me is that I had to wait for a second recall paper to come in the mail and so I did. Once I received the second recall in the mail I called them again and spoke to the service department and they told me they had to order the part and it would take about a week for it to come in. I have waited over a month and still no call from them so I called them and at that time they said the part has not come in. So now I have waited another month and still have not received a call from them. They have avoided me in every way possible to fix the ignition recall on my Cadillac. Audrey Poland read more

I own a 94 Chevrolet Caprice and I have some electrical issues with it. I first contacted them through an online chat and was told someone would call me. I never heard back from them so 3 days later I called and was basically told my car was to old for them to work on it. I feel that if you are selling chevrolets you should be able to work on all them including the older models. I was involved in a hit and run and had to choose a repair shop...it was between Ryan Honda and Parker auto body...well how horrible my past experience was with parker auto body...I chose Ryan. I had a pretty good amount of damage to my front drivers side and front grille....all the repairs are okay but it took them 2 weeks to complete something that should have taken at the most a week. I had to call them to find out that my car was completed but they were closing so I had to wait another day(and pay for another day of car rental) before I could pick up my car. No 'I'm sorry' just 'oh I must have forgotten to call you, you have a $500 deductible'.....dang! This is why I drive to Ridgeland, MS to Patty Peck Honda to get my car serviced and if I ever am in the market for a new Honda, this place won't get my business read more

I can't begin to tell you all the ways this place went wrong. But I will start by saying they are liars. I was told on a Thursday that I had a 8am appointment when called. I received a text on Sunday reminding me of my appointment on Monday for 8 am. I got there before 8am and my vehicle wasn't seen until 1pm. Now after multiple times asking about the status of my vehicle I constantly kept getting told no estimated time I would be seen, Now mind you they were advised when I got there that someone was with me to drive the car back. Conveniently around 2:30pm they tell me they don't think it will be ready today. Then Travis the service advisor calls me to tell me the once free inspection will cost me $400 to start as they would have to pull things out to determine source of problem. Keep in mind several weeks ago they flushed our radiator coolant because they told us this was reason indicator was running hot based on their so called inspection. Yet, now we are having to pay to begin with $400 for them to do what they supposedly did before. After we were told it wouldn't be done today and we were halfway home he tells me this. I just pray no more damage is done as a result of their negligence. When asked what it would cost to replace the thermostat was told $661. Something that other repair shops are charging $292 and at most $400 for. When told why they couldn't keep my 8am appointment it was because they thought I would come back for it. Mind you they know from my records that I live out of town and further more that still is no excuse for NOT keeping their appointment. A customer paying this kind of money should not have to micromanage them. Also when asked to have in writing what he needs $400 more dollars of my money for I gave them the email and a day later still nothing. Do yourself a favor save your money and your time. Though I can understand why he wouldn't want to have a paper trail. Find a reputable repair shop. Based on this experience I wouldn't by a car from them nor use them to put gas in my car much less any repair work. read more

Tried very hard over a 3 week time period to find an acceptable price on a new Tahoe at Ryan. They were not only unwilling to match prices found at other Chevy/GMC dealerships in our region, but lied about why those dealerships had better prices. If you are willing to pay thousands more for convenience sake then choose Ryan. Otherwise, drive a few hours to somewhere like Dallas or Little Rock and save! On average the prices in Dallas are anywhere from 2,000-5,000 less than Ryan. read more

I was looking to purchase a vehicle and test drove one that I liked. I told the salesman that I needed to sleep on it. The next morning I called and the salesman he told me the vehicle was sill available so we scheduled a meeting. I live out of state, so it was an hour drive. During the trip, the salesman called twice, once to verify that I was coming, and then a few minutes later, to tell me that they just sold the vehicle at auction, even though it was still on the lot. I had an appointment for an oil change on Friday November 24th at 2:00. I make it there about 130 and give my keys to the guy in the bay. I proceed to the waiting area and about 15 minutes later I see several guys pushing my car up the bay and get a battery charger to use on my car. I ask them what's the problem and they said my car won't start and I can pay $99 to have it put on the diagnostic machine or have it towed. It was showing Service Theft Deterrent System. I decided to have it towed bc it was obvious they did something wrong. Saturday morning I contacted OnStar to see if their diagnostic was showing what could have been wrong with my car. They said it was probably the key fob needing replacing and they will send a tow truck to take it to the dealership. I started cleaning out the car preparing for the tow truck and noticed the chip to my key fob sitting in my cup holder. I placed it back in my fob and my car started immediately. When I contacted Ryan that Monday, Marvin said he would review the tapes to see if his employees dropped my keys or anything. He called back and said that he couldn't see that his employees did anything wrong and my next oil change would be free. I knew then he did not watch the video bc he would have seen that my car never left the bay to get an oil change. He did give me a free oil change that I had to get from them. I was not out of towing money bc I had roadside assistance but I missed work Saturday and had to leave work early Tuesday to get the free oil change. I had originally made an appt. for an oil change online for the 13th of April. When I arrived at the shop the young lady informed me that online appts. did not come through to them and that she would honor my appt. but that it would be at least two- two and a half hours. I let her know I could not wait that long with my children and asked to be rescheduled for a day that had lighter appts. She took me over to who I assume is the appt. maker and we set an appt for the 20th at 1pm. When I arrived on 4/20 the same young lady came over to help me. I noticed quite a few cars in the hold so I asked if the wait time for my appt would be less than 2 hrs. She said let me ask came back and said 'oh yes it should not take any time'. I got myself and my kids out of the car and we went into wait. As we were walking in the young woman let me know that somebody would be keeping me updated on the status of my vehicle. At an hour and 15 mins I finally got the attention of a young man that had been helping another customer with tires and rims and asked how much longer my car would be, he said he would find out. When he came back he told me my car had just been pulled in and that it would be another 25 mins. I let him know this was ridiculous, that I was told my car would take no time. He told me they were short of people. At an hour and 45 mins the first young lady called me out to speak with who I assume was their mechanic about my tires. I assumed at that point my car would only be a few more mins. At 2 hrs and 10 mins I asked an older black gentleman who was working in that area that my car needed to be pulled around in the next 10 mins. He went and got an older woman who took the same information I had already given him and she informed me that one of the workers had misplaced my keys that is why it was taking so long and that somebody should have come and told me. I let her know that nobody had informed me of this but that I was no longer willing to wait on my car for an oil change. At this point she asked me to wait and brought over yet another person who I assume was a supervisor and he let me know that I would only be another couple of mins. My car came out at 2 and 25 mins. The young lady who had checked me in started checking me out let me know that something was leaking on the front tire. I had to prompt her to explain what was wrong. Overall the customer service was poor. I have never waited 2 and a half hours for an oil change. I also don't appreciate the fact the young mans was outside telling another employee what a bitch I was. If you are short staffed that is a problem you should be working out by taking less appointments NOT by making customers sit indefinitely as hostages in your waiting room. The PERK of buying a GM certified vehicle is the oil change but honestly it is more of a liability as I charge $50 an hour as a consultant and they wasted 2 1/2 hours of my time essentially costing me money. I hope that the customer service can get back on track but as of right now I cannot in good conscience recommend anybody to this auto group. read more

Dropped my car off at 8:15-got a call shortly after saying i would have to pay for service since my 24 month service contract had expired. I agreed to pay. called at 1:30 and my car had not even gone back yet. this was after i had left 2 voicemails and called at least 6 times and got no answer. the first female who talked to me was not pleasant and i asked to speak with a manager. i spoke with Annie who was apologetic and said she would get my car right back. I said do i have to pay full price since the vehicle was just sitting there all day and she said she would take care of it. upon arrival there were 2 women -one being rude to a black male who was asking why his car had not been looked at yet and one on the phone - neither of which acknowledged my presence. i saw my car being pulled up-this was at 2 or 2:30 i believe. still no one acknowledged me. another female came in and this was Annie-she asked if i was Mrs. Richardson and she said there was no charge and when i come back again to ask for Annie. this is not the first time that i have had difficulty with the Ryan service. a couple of oil changes ago-they left my dipstick laying across my engine. several weeks after the oil change - we were going to give someone a jump and raised the hood to see it just laying across the back part of the engine. no one ever called to apologize for that. read more
