I went there a week before dropping off my car with an estimate from my insurance, hoping they would contact my insurance and get things ready for when I dropped off my car. That seems reasonable. I was told by Justin that it usually takes a 1 to 1.5 weeks to fix the issues with my car. I had minor damage on the front driver side bumper. I dropped of my car on May 30. I was out of town for a few days. I called on my way back home on Wednesday, June 4. This was the first contact with them after dropping off my car. I was told they would begin work on Monday, June 9. That sounded reasonable knowing that parts needed to be ordered. So I contacted my insurance to get a rental. I called again on June 11. OK...so now I was told that they had to contact my insurance provider. I have checked with them. That is accurate, and the cost for the part had a check for cut on the same day as the issue on June 10 per my insurance. I went by the body shop on June16. My car was in the yard with the front of my car still missing. I went inside and was told that they were waiting on a part. Justin also explained that every part had to be ordered 4 times because what they received was broken upon receipt. When I called my insurance provider, they said that they had cut a check for them on the 10th to order the extra part. They had no knowledge of all of the additional parts that had damage needing to be reordered. They also noted in their notes that Justin said that my repair was a "next week issue." The only contact I have had from them was one text on June 6 stating that my my repair was still in process. I finally got my vehicle back today 20 days later. I contacted them 3 times to ask about when things would be done. Today, when I picked up my car, I videoed my car to check to make sure that my lights worked. I gave them a cashier's check as their service charges are 4% on a card. My husband was with me. I was not rude. I was indifferent. I have the video as proof. Having to contact them on my own 3 times to get a status should tell you all you need to know. I also checked my insurance app to see how many times my car had been driven. Why was my car driven 9 minutes today before I picked it up? Every other time was less than a minute which makes sense moving it around the yard per my app on my phone which seems accurate. This is a true and accurate account of my experience. I have accurate receipts for everything in this report. I wish I had looked at previous reports as they are similar. If my car was washed, that is ok, but why not disclose that upon delivery? Communication and Customer Service are seriously lacking. I hope I never have to use this serve again. Per Progressive, they are not on there list of service providers. I hoped to use a local company. Never again!

There were understandable delays due to COVID-19 so it took almost two months to get my car repaired... but it wasn't repaired correctly. My hood was replaced, paint is chipping all over it, the door was replaced, it doesn't shut correctly, the paint is mismatched, they blamed that on a previous repair but I'm pretty sure it's never had a previous repair. The headlight was replaced but it was the wrong part number so my lights don't work right. (The headlight module won't communicate with the computer so lights work sometimes they don't). Not happy with the whole experience. The office manager seems combative in conversation, not friendly. This volkswagon repair was out of their league. I won't choose Ken's again.

Not pleased due to the fact I was without a vehicle for so long. I think the parts should be ordered and in hand before you take a customers vehicle. The insurance only paid for 30 days for a rental. The owner was of no help and wasn't willing to do anything to resolve the matter. He just said, in a sarcastic manner, what do you want me to do about it?? So no I won't recommend

My previous name is Bradshaw and I had unclaimed property listed on the Texas State Auditor website. Next to my name was Bradshaw's Auto Body for over $3,000 in unclaimed money. I thought that since I had no idea about this site until my friend told me about it, that it's very possible that Bradshaw's Auto Body has no idea they have unclaimed money in Texas so I am going to call them AS A COURTESY...paying it forward. The first horrible woman hung up on me after being so horribly rude. When I first called she BIT MY HEAD OFF when I asked if I could speak with the owner. She said "Can a woman not be an owner of a body shop???". WHO SAYS THAT? Understanding that they probably thought it was a scam...I decided to call back and beg them to at least hear me out. This time the owner answered and she wouldn't even listen. She couldn't even give me 2 minutes of her time. She was just as horrifically awful as the first. I honestly couldn't believe how evil they both were to me. I am a Paramedic and doing nice things like this helps me decompress and escape from the horrid that I experience. SHAME ON THEM! I honestly don't care one bit if they claim their money from Texas... but based on how they treat people, I am sure business is awful and I would expect they could use the money. Here is the link should they decide to claim the money in the end. https://claimittexas.org/app/claim-search After writing a review on Facebook, they wrote an apologetic reply in public forum but then turned around and sent me this devilish response via email. They should be ashamed of themselves and EVERYONE ELSE SHOULD RUN FAR AWAY.

Upon a friend's recommendation, I sought out Automotive Specialties, a locally-owned, small collision repair shop. The owner personally took care of the service- from the initial estimate, recommended repairs, and status updates as needed. Everything was clearly communicated throughout the whole process. All of my questions and concerns were promptly addressed. The quote for materials and labor was fair compared to others in the area. Meticulous time, effort, and care were given to my car during body repairs. The challenge of color matching required some extra time to be done properly and paint from a new manufacturer had to be ordered. Despite the added time to completion, the end result was an almost flawless match of the repaired front bumper to the original color. I was extremely satisfied with the impeccable work, and it felt like I was driving a new car again! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Automotive Specialties as a very trustworthy, honest, and reliable business for your complete collision repairs needs.
