My appointment with Dr. Jeffrey Watson was extremely disappointing and, frankly, not what I…read moreexpected from a specialist consultation. I felt there was minimal engagement or effort to properly evaluate my symptoms. I was seeking assessment for issues that I believe are related to GERD or LPR, conditions typically within the scope of an ENT evaluation. Instead, my concerns did not feel meaningfully addressed or investigated. The only option offered was a terrible medication that once you stop taking it makes your symptoms worse, which I do not feel is an adequate or comprehensive solution for my situation, and no other treatment pathways or diagnostic alternatives were discussed. I left the appointment without clarity, direction, or any actionable plan. Overall, I found the visit unproductive and not a worthwhile use of my time. He's just a ENT plastic surgeon I believe, how I got referred to him is a complete mystery.

I always knew I was in the best hands. I got a Septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and rhinoplasty. I've never been able to breathe well out of my nose, so Dr. Watson walked me through every single option for me. Surgery ended up being the best option and I am so grateful I went through with it. I added on cosmetic rhinoplasty and Dr. Watson did a fantastic job with both the cosmetic portion and the structural portion and is extremely knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the nose. With how quickly I'm recovering, I can tell how meticulous, gentle and detail-oriented he was with my nose in the surgery. After just one week, all of my bruising and swelling is gone. I got my cast and splints off and out of my nose 5 days post-op and was immediately able to breathe. INSANE!! And already LOVING the shape. Dr. Watson knew exactly what I wanted without me even having to over-explain. Highly recommend going with him for surgery or any other services you are looking for. He spends the time with each of his patients, makes them feel so comfortable and is truly the best of the best in the ENT and plastic surgery world! Fantastic doctor and fantastic human being! Could not recommend him enough! Thank you to Dr. Watson & the entire Tahoe Forest family!!

With the first nerve block he hit the correct area with his needle! I called it the "money shot", and knew there was hope for a better outcome than my previous ablations. Since 2 nerve blocks are required, I had to wait a little longer for the final 3rd visit to get the ablation. Being in the room with just him and ( Tech ) Dave was calming and relaxing. They both treated me with such tender care. My neck is doing REALLY well. Dr. Jacob Blake is 100% worth the wait.

Dr. Blake had been in Truckee ( where I live) only 1 day a month. I saw him and had me get an MRI. Next Month he was gone. No letter or letting patients know that he will practice solely in Reno. He was the only back and neck doctor here. So, I got visit him in Reno. He was training another man at the same time. He was very preoccupied. I just moved to Tahoe Donner from the Bay Area so I'm not used to only having 1 dr. to see. He gave me a few vicadin and was supposed to call to schedule an epidural. I was getting them by a "real dr" before this idiot, I had to remind Dr. Blake to look over my MRI because he forgot he he ordered one for me before his departure from Truckee. I phoned Dr Blake's office prior to Thanksgiving. I spoke again on the answering machine. Again, no response. I'm am over it. I'll go back to Stanford where I won't get the shotty treatment. He should be ashamed of himself.

A couple of days later, they called and canceled my appointment because I was with Medicare. Huh? Why didn't they tell me that from the get-go when they had a copy of my insurance card? It is a disappointment for sure and that was not very professional on their part. Seniors take note!

How does this practice stay in business when they don't take Medicare nor United Health Care? Most…read morepeople with Thyroid problems or Diabetes are older adults. It appears this business wants those that work and have health care through their jobs. Maybe, they have so much business they don't need us Seniors. My doctor set me up with another Endocrinologist with Renown but I can't get in until September and I been waiting a month already. Meanwhile my health may deteriorate since my blood test showed an over-active thyroid. I have many of the symptoms and I waited too long to get my yearly check up. It was almost 2 years and so I have not idea how long I have had this medical condition. I picked Northern Nevada Endocrinology because of the 5 star reviews and because I was trying to get a doctor to see me earlier than September. I was quite shocked when the office told me they do not take my insurance. Because I have the United Healthcare along with Medicare, everyone has taken it in Northern Nevada. So if you are an older person with these insurances, don't expect to be seen by this group. I guess a health care company can pick and choose who they wish to see and they won't be seeing Seniors at their practice.

So I filled out the paperwork, paid my co-pay and waited for about 10 minutes. When I was called in the back, I was greeted quite nicely by a lady, and when I went into the back room, it was pretty huge. Quite a few of the workers said hi to me as I was led to a room. After the preliminary questioning, the girl that brought me into the room, said that Kyle would be with me shortly. Kyle was kind of like a breath of fresh air. He came in with a great attitude, really made me feel comfortable as well as welcome. He was friendly and Jovial. He asked permission to do check my legs and my back.
