She called me back 3 minutes later to say she misread the dosing instruction and did not have the tablet form ordered by my provider (an antibiotic). When I asked her if she could check the other DePere Walgreens, she said "I will have to call you back". Fifty minutes later still no call back. I phoned my provider and they sent the prescription to Meijer with no drama/issues. Sorry, Walgreens, either hire more staff or figure out a better automated system to help your staff. We were shopping for about ten minutes, and we paid for everything and had left. About not even 10 seconds after we left a police officer pulled up and told us to go back into the store. (We had been in the store twice, the first time I had bought fake nails with my sister who is darker and the second time I had brought my sister who has curlier and thicker hair and slightly lighter skin) He told us to empty our pockets and bags/backpacks, when we had only had our umbrella and coats because it was raining. He said we were accused of shoplifting and we had complied, and emptied our pockets. We were there for about 10 minutes being questioned, when there were other white men and women, with bags, that were larger than average bags were, but they were not questioned at all, and is making me question how and why this is okay. And why weren't other customers questioned if we were stealing or not is what is the most questionable. This isn't the first time that this Walgreens has been accused of racial profiling and it sure as hell will not be the last, don't shop here if you're of darker complexion and want the cops called for being here for 10-15 minutes, and keep in mind other white customers were in there at the same time for the same amount of time.

I have been using this pharmacy since Target opened in 2001…read more The pharmacists are nice and always go over everything with me for new medications and answer any questions I may have.  I've gone in to pick up post-surgery meds and then when I come back the next week for a regular RX refill the employees ask how I'm feeling and genuinely seem to care.  They always ask me for my phone number for the CVS rewards, which I know they don't have to do so I really appreciate it since I usually forget.  When there are issues getting a medication covered by insurance they reach out to my doctor for help.  One time an associate went online and looked up a payment assistance program for me, saving me $600/month on a medication that my insurance wouldn't cover.  When I call they answer within the first few rings or if I opt to leave a voicemail I always get a call back within the next business day, if not the same day.

While I was a there I asked if there was a chance I could get my shot. The tech said no, that they needed a half hour to get things out together after their lunch break. So I left. I then arrived at 4pm and was told that I didn't sign up for that location. As I had already deleted my confirmation from my phone I could not confirm what he was saying. I asked if he could cancel the other location and give me the shot. He said it would take too long and I should go to the other location. This guy was a total jerk and said sarcastically, "have a good day". (this was the Allouez location on Webster Avenue)

Much like an old neighborhood drug store they have just enough everyday household items that they often save me unnecessary trips to the big box store to find a new padlock or a new fragrance free downy that is friendly to sensitive "fussy" skin types like myself, for example! I also appreciate that their app sends timely notifications alerting me to some new deals as I pull into the parking lot. Makes me comfortable that they take data privacy seriously in that they use the location access responsibly and to help me maximize the value while I'm shopping their store. Now if only my headphones sunglasses and phone wouldn't constantly want to jump out if my hands and roll behind the registers, this could easily hit all stars! ;)

For some reason, they removed my insurance information from their system and continued to bill all my prescriptions using Good Rx. I discovered their error in August 2019 and brought it to their attention. I requested they rebill all my prescriptions for the year to my insurance company which the pharmacist said he would do. I was told since it had to be done through the corporate office, it would take 8 to 12 weeks. It is now March 11, 2020. On March 5th, I called Wal-Mart customer service and explained my situation. I was told I would receive a call back in 3 business days. No call received. Today I called again. I did have a reference number from my last phone call. I was told again I would receive a call back in 3 business days. I then proceeded to call the pharmacy directly and spoke to Nathan, the pharmacist. He informed me they started working on rebilling my claims on January 9, 2020 and it would take 8 to 12 weeks for them to complete this process. It has been 8 weeks. I told him how irritated I am with them as they require payment when I pick up my prescriptions but when they make such a huge error they can take all the time they want in refunding my money. I will continue to call customer service and the until this issue is resolved. Oh, most importantly, I no longer have the insurance as last year and have transferred my prescriptions to Walgreens.
