I like Target because they tend to treat their workers comparatively better than other companies they compete with, have clean stores, and I get good service from the human beings who work there. A new…read moremedication recently prescribed to me was in a shortage, therefore I had to call around to multiple local pharmacies to find out if they had it in stock, and if not, when they anticipate availability. Out of many, many calls to various pharmacies, Walmart Pharmacy on E Calumet in Appleton was the only place where I was treated with kindness and patience. All others made me feel like I was putting them out and annoying them. I have interacted now with several different individuals from this Walmart Pharmacy, both via phone and in person, and every single experience has been awesome - this place is definitely customer oriented. Whoever does the hiring and training of this exemplary staff should be commended - as should the staff themselves. Special kudos to rockstars Kathy and Charlie who both recently assisted me and went above and beyond in coordinating the successful processing of a prescription with my doctor's office and the insurance plan. Too many issues to list but here are a few examples: Went into his room and found his IV line filled with air while it was actively infusing. IV pump never alarmed and he was sent immediately to CT scan to rule out an air embolism which could be potentially fatal. Hospital staff made aware this IV pole created a fall risk but did not tag it and continued to leave it at my husband's bedside. This hospital is not just negligent, it's dangerous!!
