I DO ; NOT RECOMMEND Crossoaks Family Dentistry. Although I like the friendliness of the Dentist,…read moremy experience with this office has been subpar and downright traumatizing!! To explain: I set an appointment because of a toothache. Crossoaks Dentist did imaging and found nothing wrong with my afflicted tooth. I returned for a filling on a different tooth and still complained of tooth pain. At that time the dentist said she could see a crack forming in the problem tooth. She referred me to a the Root Canal Specialist in Grand Rapids. I had a root canal done at the Root canal specialist with an Endodontist in Grand Rapids. The Root canal made the tooth worse! It was so painful!! I had to beg for a thing besides Tylenol and Advil together alleviate the pain and was put on a steroid. I was in pain because by this point, the tooth split in half down through the root. I called the Crossoaks dentist and came in for an emergency dental appointment. During the emergency appointment, dentist ended up extracting the tooth. She said I could get a temporary "flipper" tooth while I undergo the process of pursuing an implant. The flipper tooth charge was quoted at $350, in alignment with my dental insurance benefits per the dentist. So I went to the dentist today to get my temporary flipper tooth and was told the charge would be $750!! What happened to the $350 quote I have on paper? Why is there such a discrepancy in the price for the temporary flipper tooth? Nobody could explain to me why there is now a $400 upcharge!! This is a surprise bill! Surprise bills are illegal! Furthermore, upon my checkout, the receptionist said I owe a balance of $200. The heck I dont! I know this because my EOB statement from my dental insurance reflects a balance of only $147! This place operates like a circus!! Therefore, I absolutely do not recommend this dental practice on the grounds of bait and switch pricing and deceptive processes, procedures and practices. I am deeply disappointed I need a tooth I am a professional and I hate showing up to meetings while missing this important tooth! I must have a tooth like yesterday! I require an honest dentist and practice. One thst does not mislead their clients or try to take advantage of them when they are vulnerable and in need of dental work. If you are considering Crossoaks Family Dentistry in Plainwell on M-89, I strongly advise the reader to consider other dental practices. Thank you.

Went to Plainwell today and the guy at the door insisted on my husband wearing his face diaper over…read moreboth his mouth and nose. He cannot breathe with this over his nose and we go everywhere with just our mouths covered as do most people. He was insistent and I wish we had walked out. The females in the office were much more pleasant. He needed to be a bit more lenient and not in your face. This is a first for us. Looks like we will be looking for another eye glass office and we've been customers for 14 years.

I recently moved to New York City, and had to update my prescription so I hopped into a corporate…read moreretail eyeglass chain (which shall remain nameless). Do they have dilation quotas or something? My god, it was awful... In any case, it made me appreciate the team at REC immensely. I've been seeing Dr. Flynn since I was a wee little Chopp, and he's a really good guy. The team worked with me to pick out a pair of rockin' specs and they were really good about getting contacts for me post haste when I accidentally dropped my last pair down the sink. I love you guys! Even though I'm in NYC, I'll never cheat on you again! :)

I ended up being scammed by Richland eye care, scammed out of a whopping $300. I ordered a year…read moresupply of contacts through Richland eye care. The total was over $1,000. The reason I purchased a yearly supply was because of the $400 rebate from acuvue Kat informed me of. Saying it was a pretty incredible rebate. $400 rebate? Why wouldn't I purchase the year supply? Kat (along with another employee) told me all I had to do was go to the acuvue website follow the reward instructions and make sure I input a NEW email address. I did that. It did not give me a $400 rebate only a $100 rebate. Kat left me a voicemail saying "Jenny we talked about this, you must've forgotten, make sure you're using a work email or different email." I don't even have a work email because I'm a stay-at-home mom (hence why the $300 loss is a hard one.) I called kat back to inform her it's not an email address I needed, then they gave me two codes to input on the acuvue rewards website. I submitted all the necessary info. Still, a $100 rebate. Even if you use a new email- acuvue still has your information. You make a new profile with a new email address, you still have to input your first name and your last name your mailing address and your date of birth, using a new email doesn't do anything. So instead of getting the $400 rebate I was assured of receiving multiple times. I lost $300 and am only receiving $100. Not a single employee ever knows what's going on there and will steer you in any direction to get your money. Go elsewhere, learn from my loss!
