I used Jeff to repair my AC unit and he did great. 6+ months later my refrigerator wasn't cooling so having a good experience with him the first time I called on him again. I wasn't present for the repair so a friend of mine provided oversight. Jeff claimed he fixed my fridge adding fans at the outside louvers to help circulate the air but this didn't fix my frig. As I did the first time, I paid jeff in cash and he told my friend he'd e-mail me a receipt which never came. I tried calling Jeff 3 times with no return call. I felt like Jeff was a trustworthy individual but unfortunately I was wrong. I wouldn't recommend taking the chance on Jeff but if you do pay via credit card so if it turns out he doesn't fix your problem you can cancel the transaction....lesson learned. read more

We were besides ourselves with the knowledge that Jeff had. He was nice and efficient. He was meaningful. He came above and beyond to our side when our air was going out. We have had this RV in for months an he solved our problem with an hour. He helped us with odd an end questions. Believe me when I say if you have had issues in the past not taken care of just ask Jeff and he can fix it or send you on a path to succeed. read more

We were traveling from Colorado and our tail lights on our Thor Tuscany went out. We were staying in Pelican Lake Motorcoach Resort and he came highly recommended. We called him and he stated he would arrive in and hour. 2.5 hours later he arrives and tells us that we have a recall for the issue. But he states he can fix it for us. He stated I'll order the part and have you fixed up before you leave. That gave him 3 days to complete the repair. He ignored every phone call, email and text. He never called or came back. We had to leave with no tail lights because of an impending tropical storm set to arrive. This guy was recommended by Pelican Lake Motorcoach Resort because he lives there also. Terrible service, no follow-up, no responsibility to his customers or business. I do not recommend. read more

I contacted RV medic {Jeff Kirkwood} to replace an AC unit..I had already installed the new unit just needed him to wire up the thermostat.  He arrived to hook it up the new unit had been damaged in shipping. I personally had purchased it through Amazon for app $900. He discovered the damage so we chose to return it at that point I asked Jeff if he  would just get another Unit and install it so he would be responsible for the entire job as I knew now I had to take the old one down..box it up and deal with the refund process. he told me verbally it would cost around $1800 to $2000 and he could do it later in the week. I needed the AC running for an upcoming vacation so I said OK. On Thursday Aug 20th he came to install new AC. I was present. At one point I lost confidence in his work or knowledge when he tried to tell me my 12 volt electrical system was only putting out  3 volts and I had to show him everything else on the system was working properly. I had to go get a meter of my own to show him he was wrong and his electrical meter was no good because I was getting 12 volts on 2 other meters. He seemed a little baffled which concerned me because it is very simple mechanical knowledge that my 17 year old would understand but we were in to far to turn back. He finished the install. We turned the system on for approximately 5 minutes and it was blowing cold air so we were happy. Then he handed me a bill for $2857.03.  Approximately $857 more than I expected but without hesitation I went on and paid him knowing that he made 2 trips from Naples and I just needed my AC working. It wasn't until later that night my wife looked over the bill and noticed the over charges. He clearly charged me 2x for labor and tax for labor as well as tax on his purchase price of the unit so thats double tax on the unit unless he is a distributor and tax exempt and he is not. I sent him a text showing the discrepancy and he agreed it was a mistake on his part and he would credit me back. The next day I saw my CC bill and he had charged my card for $2999.88. A number I had never seen. I immediate called him again his wife mad a mistake he clearly stated in a text he would refund me $727.88...to this date that has not happen. Then on I take the RV to Key Largo on vacation as planned and as I was hooking up my utilities outside I hear my wife screaming from inside and I run in to find her with a fire extinguisher putting out a fire. The AC had burst into flames within 5 minutes of turning it on. dripping plastic all over the floors and destroying the back room  of the RV. Fortunately my wife was right there when it happen or it would have been a total loss or my entire family could have died in a fire had it happen at night. I immediately texted Jeff Kirkwood and his response was I will be down to fix it as soon as you get it home. I then texted him on Sept 3rd and made an appointment for him to come fix it on Saturday Sept 5th. He never showed up nor answered any calls...never refunded the money nothing. I called the police on Sept 23rd as it seems the overcharges are theft though the bad AC may very well be a civil matter and he told the North Port Police officer that he would immediately refund the $727.88. He did not. Now I have $3000 invested in a broken AC unit with thousands of dollars worth of damage to my RV from his obvious negligence and he is unresponsive and unwilling to do anything. I am currently filing a civil suit against this con man. read more

This owner Jeff does not return calls. He said two weeks ago that he would do our RV repair on Friday. He never showed. He now does not return texts or phone calls. He has wasted two weeks whereas we could have been finding a reputable company. We would never recommend this Jeff guy. If we could give negative stars we would! read more

STAY AWAY...I made an appointment with "Jeff" 5 days in advance and I called him the day before...he said "yep all is good, you are on the morning schedule...". I waited at my RV all morning, I called him several times but no answer and voicemail was full...at 1 PM I gave up and never a call or text from him. He was charging me $120 just to show up...STAY AWAY from this unprofessional "service " provider! read more

The awning on our RV was jammed, making the rig immobile, on a Friday night, no less. The resort gave us Jeff's number, and he was out there the next morning, fixed it in an hour, and we were good to go. Great guy, great service, no fuss no muss. Excellent all the way around! read more

The RV Mobile Medic was called to come out to my personal residence and inspect my leaking black and gray tanks on my RV. I spoke with Jeff and he said this shouldn't be a problem over the phone. Upon arrival, Jeff spent roughly 20 minutes looking at the tanks using his flashlight and small camera. He took some measurements and started looking to prepare me a quote. It appeared he hesitated on preparing the quote and said he would finish it, and then call or text me the quote for repair. He gave me some ballpark pricing, but said it was just an estimate. He would finish the written quote and then email it to me that night or the next day. Jeff processed my credit card for $160 and left. Well.....That was the last time I heard from him. He never responded to phonecalls, text or emails. He was gone, along with my money. I am now trying to fight the charge with my credit card. This guy is a SCAM. Stay away. read more
