I was looking for a local mechanic to handle the inspections/repairs on my travel trailer that were beyond my limited capability. We just got back from a 8400 mile trip out west and I wanted an annual inspection performed on my travel trailer to ensure there were no problems mechanically or electrically at this time and to ensure the gas appliances were safe. Although I personally don't have any experience with the large RV sales/service outfits I have heard many sad stories about long waits and poor workmanship. Additionally I like to support home town businesses. I found Drew on the internet. He seemed to fit the bill so decided to give him a call. I spoke to Debbi who answered all my questions except one which she said the would have to get back with me. Less than 15 minutes later the phone rang - to my surprise, it was Debbi with the answer. (I really expected at least a couple of hours). Anyway I made the appointment for Friday. On Friday I met Drew and Debbie both very nice. Drew told me upfront that he was 1 man short -(sprained ankle I believe) so it would probably be a couple days. No problem with me. Drew and I went through a check in sheet and we parked the trailer. Over the weekend I happen to remember that on Friday I didn't shut off the battery switch so I called Debbi. She told me not to worry because they go out every morning and check, start, etc., each vehicle/trailer on the lot. Wednesday, Debbi called me and said the trailer was ready. She also told me about a couple of small things they found, ie, hitch utility light out and a couple of small covers missing and asked if I wanted them to fix them- I told her I wasn't really worried about them and that I would give me something to do. My schedule wouldn't allow me to pick it up till Friday and that was ok with her. When I picked it up I was provided a 3 page check sheet of the items inspected and Drew discussed the overall condition and inspection results. He suggested some preventative maintenance not required right now but should probably be done next spring. I will probably schedule it about February/march and he will be doing it. To make a long story short- Drew and Debbi made me feel right at home. They were both very honest, professional and I feel that they had my best interest at heart. 0 Stars Today I had the worst experience in this place, Thank God I did not leave my camper there, THE OWNER OF THE PLACE was super Rude, DISRESPECTFUL, CURSING AT ME, he told me that if I were his daughter he would slap the shit out of me, I WAS VERBALLY ABUSED today, and all that for no justifiable reason, I imagine he was upset because my insurance company sent the money to my account and not his, my father-in-law and I went into the shop and started talking with the employees of the front desk, asking questions that as a client we have every right to ask because they charged us $ 500 for making an estimate and that money was not supposed to be paid by the client because they include work hour so that part the insurance was supposed to send them that money, because they added in the estimate, but The insurance subtracted that part of the money and sent us the difference so the approved money minus the hours worked by them, in short we are asking questions respectfully speaking and this animal, and that would be an offense to the animals, came out of nowhere with a defensive attitude and his first words to us were, "Did you brought the $500 if you have it, pay and take the camper, if you don't pay you won't take it and it's over, here there is nothing more to discuss on the matter." and from there obviously I did not remain silent and told him that that was not the way to treat customers and from then on, all the aforementioned and more. YES, THAT WAS THE SUCH DREW ..... I'm still super disappointed, annoyed by the matter, and I definitely do not recommend the place at all, PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS KIND OF PEOPLE DOES NOT DESERVE TO RECEIVE YOUR MONEY .... I have had nothing but positive experiences with Drew's RV Techs...they are hands-down my go-to shop when my RV needs service or repair. I have found everyone at Drew's to be more than responsive to my needs. On one occasion he "saved" me at the last minute. I was scheduled to leave town when I discovered I had no power coming into the coach. Drew's techs found that I had a blown transfer relay switch, contacted Thor as the coach was under warranty, and sent one of their techs to Tampa to pick up the switch as opposed to waiting for Thor to mail it to them. I was on the road as scheduled thanks to their quick action. Savannah and Nicole in the office are awesome! They really become like friends. They are on the phone at every turn keeping me informed regarding the progress of any service being performed on my coach. At Drew's, you get the personal attention the "big guys" lack. I know previous reviews are not good on Yelp or Google, but I want to let 'all' know, they are better than dealing with General RV for warranty work. After General RV messed up 2 doors for our 5th wheel, and we needed warranty work done, I called them and they went to bat for us, got the door in, installed it and its works better than new! We have had some minor repairs done that we paid for and its been a wonderful working relationship. Yes it takes awhile to get the RV in, but when they were closed on Saturdays and we needed to pick up on a Saturday; they met us for the pick up. Not to many businesses will do that. We are extremely satisfied with their work and assistance on many levels. Drew is an honest county man and if you work with him, they work with you. We'll recommend them all day along. Thank you! Drew's just completed some major repairs and body restoration work on my Motor Coach. They did a great job, it looks and feels like the damage from our accident never occurred. We called them using their webpage contact and they met us when we arrived in Tampa. They knew the predicament we were in as we had no place to live - so they immediately begin the repairs and finished everything in a very timely manner. They are responsive, and completed the entire repair job within their estimate. Our overall repair bill was much cheaper than if we had the repairs done at a local big RV dealership repair facility. I will us them exclusively in the future every time we come back to Florida on our yearly trip. I had looked at some other dealerships but had that comfortable feeling at Drew's, not pressured to buy. One of the best things I've done. They where friendly and fun to be around. We brought our Tiffin 40 ft. Diesel pusher to Drew's RV repairs for a few repairs. Slide-out top weather cover, water heater not working on A/C power. The people in the front office Marie, Savannah and Wyatt have at all times kept us up to date on every step of the repairs. They followed up with call and approximate time of completion. I took my RV in for service this past weekend and was greeted by a friendly, helpful, and business professional. She took the time to explain what to expect, how much it would cost, and how long it would take to get the work done. Two days later, I received a call that my rig was ready...well ahead of schedule. My appointment was made in a timely friendly, manner. It was refreshing for me as a single woman not to second quess a service call. Drew could very easy have charged me for a new electric hot water heater and also left my propane tanks installed, preventing me from getting propane delivered. As it was my heating element had burned out, easy and affordable to fix. In 10 mins my propane tanks ware removed and set up safely on the outside of my RV, now I can have propane delivery. We live in Ny and traveled to Florida and when we got here our propane tank was leaking and our water was leaking everywhere. We called camp world and 3 more plsces and they couldn't even look at us for 2 weeks. Then called Drews,they said they would come Thursday,that was Monday, and they came weds, a day earlier!! I was having a problem with my LP gas water heater and furnace not working. The RV dealership (2018 Windsport) where I bought it tried 3 times and was unable to fix the problem. I decided to go somewhere else and Drew's was recommended by my neighbor. The entire staff was friendly and helpful.
