Took Motorcoach in for ac diagnostics. We were quoted one price and then charged three times more than they said they could not find anything made us call Coleman Coleman, then stated that they should take care of the issue and wanted us to bring coach back to Hanson We declined. Tech came out next day finally got correct diagnosis which should've been first thing on their checklist per Coleman. It's now been 14 days and we still have not heard from them or receive the part I highly do not recommend this place. read more

Best service center around! Tracy went above and beyond to help me get my refrigerator replaced while under warranty. The manufacturer took months to send it, and she did not give up! We have had wonderful experiences at Harberson RV with multiple repairs on our 2017 Travato. Class B RV. The people are very friendly and efficient. Kudos to Tina, though very busy, always greets us with a smile and is very professional. From the front door through to the service department, we are treated on a one on one basis professionally and efficiently. We've had a toilet and solenoid replaced so far in this expert RV service department and awaiting more parts. We will gladly return back here from Virginia to have done by this great service team. read more

Short version - Wonderful sales, service, and price! Long version: What a great experience! Just bought my first RV, a used Heartland Wilderness travel trailer in amazing condition. The salesman, Bill Runyan was incredibly helpful and thorough in making sure we understood options and tradeoffs, and worked with us to get something that worked in our price range. He also went "beyond the sale" in making sure we understood how everything in the camper worked and gave us solid advice on things we need to do, things to consider, and things to not worry about immediately. Tina Ives in Service worked with our schedule to get the right hitch installed and to coordinate between parts, sales, and the service tech to make sure everything was set to go on time. She also helped understand price/options on some add-ons that helped us make an informed decision on whether to buy there or elsewhere, resulting in some things being acquired through Amazon. Steve was the service tech who not only did an amazing job installing the load balancing/anti-sway hitch, but who also took the time to train me in detail on the use of the hitch and manage practicing me through all aspects of use of it. Being new to all of this that was a fantastic help. Thanks to the Harberson RV team for an outstanding experience and great advice that will help us get started in the world of RV'ing!!! read more

I'm pretty concerned that, first....after having my motorhome serviced a little over a week ago, I called to report a problem and was told that 4 of their 5 techs have Covid, along with the service manager I just dealt with. No one bothered to let me know and I'm assuming no one else who has been there recently, of our exposure to them. I am at super high risk if I get it. I find that highly irresponsible. Secondly, they charged me to repair an electrical outlet in my motorhome which still does not work and is not even tightly secured to the wall. It's pretty obvious they did not take the time to attempt to find out the problem. I am on my motorhome in Key West with no electrical outlet that works. Very inconvenient to say the least.... I called and was told to bring it back in when I return and they will look at it with no charge. But she stated that the charges looked correct!!!! And I find that so gracious of them... no apologies for not fixing it the first time and leaving me without electric for coffee, or hair dryer And hopefully not Covid!!!!! read more

Harberson's is like finding a gold nugget in a swamp. I've purchased trailers and motorhomes at the enormous RV businesses, I won't name names, but think of the Dover area in Florida. I became so frustrated dealing with them that I contacted Harberson RV before my current motorhome was out of warranty to see if they were licensed to service Coachmen... lucky for me they were and are. Now I wish I had purchased my rig from Harbersons... and I surely will not be going anywhere else for service. They are small, which is great. You get to know everyone quickly, and if you're so inclined, as I am, they will take you back where the services are done to further explain what you need or what they did for your RV. I've even gotten service advice over the phone. They are patient, reasonable people and they not only do warranty work, but extended warranty work as well. The big businesses will drive you insane with delays and excuses and you'll rarely even see a mechanic, much less talk to one. I honestly considered giving up motorhoming not long before I met the folks at Harbersons. They help take the frustration out of the least enjoyable parts of camping... maintenance and repair. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of service or repair for their camping rigs. read more

I would NOT recommend Harberson RV to anyone that is requiring service. I spent over $10,000 there and they have yet to live up to their word. And not only did they not live up to their word on the services promised but they left my RV absolutely filthy as well. And to top it all off the service staff is rude. I am hearing good things about PMS - Professional Maintenance Services in the Clearwater area. Will give them a try next. read more

I have been taking my Thor WS31 to Harberson for routine maintenance and warrantee work for the past 3 years. They work with my extended warrantee company and always do right by me. I have read other reviews, looks like my experience is typically good because I don't rush them or set deadlines. They have had to re-do a couple of items but the second time has always been at no charge to me. Good people to work with. In my experience they have always done exactly what they said they would do. I am extremely satisfied with their service. read more

Totally impressed! I needed some hard to find parts for my Holiday Rambler and Bud went the extra mile to find them. We are traveling from Seattle WA and didn't have much time to wait for parts but he got them in. on time, the next day. I went to Camping World and the parts dept wasn't interested to help at all, very typical. I also had the oil changed and have the RV checked out, completed on time and the price was what they quoted. I even received a call a week later from Bud to make sure everything was working okay and offered his help anytime we needed it, who does that? Bud is the best of the best, just wish he and Harberson were up in the Seattle area. Everyone at Harberson were professional and a pleasure to work with. Great place, I highly recommend! read more

I scheduled an appointment for my 2005 Kodiak Skamper travel trailer for wiring and wheel bearings as well as the installation of a brake controller for my truck. I called for the appointment on a Wednesday they got me in the following week on Friday morning. They advised me what was needed and told me that they were going to need the vehicle over the weekend and that they would start to work on the trailer and then the truck and the job is to be completed by the next Wednesday. No one called us to let us know that it was ready I needed call them to find out. When we got there it was about 4 o'clock. They told me the truck was completed and the trailer was in the Overflow lot in the back. We were about to plug in the 7-way plug and noticed that there was exposed connections for the house battery. This would have caused sparking not good. When we pulled the trailer around we spoke with Patrick and told him but the wires were exposed he taped them so they would not Spark. We asked him if everything worked and he said yes he had just checked everything and everything was working. When we tried the lights the right brake light was out the right turn signal is out not working and the bulb needed to be replaced. He took care of that. I asked for the condition of the brakes and the wheel bearings and he explained that someone else did the wheel bearings and brakes on the trailer. We were unable to find out what percentage are trailer brakes because the employee that worked on them had gone home. We then went inside to pay and at this point they had most of the doors locked. My wife was still waiting to pay and we continued to wait while the service associate Kim was on the phone. She never said just a minute I'll be right with you we just waited. Finally she explained the work order and what work was accomplished and told us that the labor was covered for 90 days. We never did receive any information regarding the percentage on the trailer brakes. This took 1 hour and we felt that everyone was in a hurry to go home. Customer service level was very low considering we just paid over $1,300 for the work performed. Possibly they're overwhelmed and short on help and this is a hectic time of year hopefully the quality of the work performed will last. I will update this later. Thanks. read more

Buying a new RV / TT is akin to buying a new home - maybe worse. As a seasoned "camper", I know what I want and what I don't. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy a new unit. I was amazed at how hard it was to get most RV dealers to show me product, answer the phone or return a call. In the end, it boils down to the unit itself and then where to buy it. My research came down to two brands with near identical floor plans. A Wilderness WD2775 from Harberson or Bullet Premier 26RB from Campers World. After careful analysis, it was really a toss up as they each had small pluses and minuses. I could have gone either way really. Campers World helped me decide by not returning calls and showing on site that they are very poorly organized (being very kind here). Gary at Harberson RV is an old-school salesman. He knows the product and returns calls. He "rode" the sale through from the looking stage to the hook it up point. Patrick did the walk through. He is also a service tech and knows all about every system on the unit. He took his time and put up with a guy who insisted on seeing every single system, every light bulb, every outlet - work perfectly. It is dead obvious that the service at Harberson RV is superior. Small, single owner (whom I met - very nice fellow) and local. New camper is beautiful. I recommend Harberson RV without reservation. Ask for Gary and tell them "Trey" sent you. read more

Brought my 2015 Primetime 5th wheel to Harberson after the owner of RV World ran into it while it was being stored at their facility. RV World recommended Habrerson. They agreed to fix the 5th wheel and picked it up and dropped it off at the the place it was stored at. They subcontracted the work to Fortney RV to do the body work. When I picked up the 5th wheel from storage I discovered the bedroom AC (roof) damaged as it appeared someone had struck a fixed object. Brought the camper to Harberson who denied doing any damage to the 5th wheel. However, the service manager stated he would "work with me" to take care of the damaged AC. It required a new AC. They installed a new one. Cost $1088 and said they knocked the price down and did work with me. The cost when I bought a new AC prior to it being damaged? $1044. Obviously they will not "work with someone" and would not take care of the damage caused when it was in their custody. Be careful. Stay away from this place. read more

Yesterday my bf and I brought our camper van in for an oil change as we were heading out of town today. A little while later, we were informed we needed front brakes, rotars, and pads. We immediately let them know we had plans to travel for work and we were needing to leave early Friday. We told them that if we needed to make other arrangments we would, if the parts wouldnt be in on time. At first, we thought, what great customer service as they were calling around to locate the needed parts. They told us they would be able to have the parts in first thing in the morning and we would be out of there around 12:30. 9:00am, I called to make sure the parts arrived but I was informed they were still waiting. I was assured that I would receive a phone call as soon as the parts came in. At 1pm I called back since I had not heard anything. I was told that they did receive the parts but they didn't call me because they were the wrong ones, but they had the correct parts being delivered at 2:30. I again reminded them we were heading out of town and if we needed to make other arrangements we would as we had some specific to be later evening. I again was assured the brakes would be completed for us to leave today. My bf was called by a different person and was told the brakes would be completed by 5pm when they close. At 4:30, we were then told they wouldn't have the parts until tomorrow morning. Our plans had been ruined at this point. We felt we had given them several opportunities to just tell us they wouldn't have the parts in time, and we would have been more than understanding and made other arrangements. Instead, we were given the run around. We ended up paying for the oil change and not getting the brakes done. While I was paying, the service advisor said she apologized and said that it stinks that our weekend was ruined and I explained that it all could have been avoided had they not over promised. She said, well I called your bf to let him know we didnt have the parts, however she had reassured him in that call we would be good to go before 5pm, and I had already called multiple times prior. Before we left, we noticed there wasn't a sticker letting us know when the oil would need to be changed next and etc. They simply said they don't give those. It is very disappointing that we were strung along all day, only to leave without having the brakes done and to feel like this all could have been avoided had they provided upfront communication that they were having difficulties locating the parts. read more

i am so happy i found harberson rv, saw an ad for a travel trailer online and met general mgr mark who personally showed us the unit. it was used and in very good condition but mark insisted on replacing all 5 tires, installed a hand rail at entrance and a power tongue jack. when i arrived to pick up the unit i met so many nice people there, vicki, bill, francis, finance lady and forgot other names but last but not least is chris in the parts dept. he is an awesome employee, when i had a problem learning how to disconnect the hitch he drove to our residence after work, showed me how to do it, followed me to storage facility and helped me get it situated. what an awesome guy, refused my offer of compensation. having had a business in tampa for 33 years i have a lot of experience in dealing with employees and this guy is a ten. big enough to serve you and small enough to be comfortable. we had bought rv's from lazy days and la meza and this was by far a more pleasant experience. read more
