My wife and I have been searching for the perfect fit RV and in our split decision to search for our first RV we came across Manatee RV. I made the call and spoke to Rob (Sales) who invited us to come visit the lot to see what RVs were available at the time. We arrived and walked into the office where Rob directed us to the open lot. My wife and I walked out of the office and began our search for the perfect RV. We walked in and out of a few select motorhomes. While we were searching we came across Corey. My wife and I had the most amazing experience learning from Corey the benefits of each motorhome and the comparisons between each model. Corey's warm welcome, immersion of the RV world, and perfect positioning led to our quick decision that we found the right place to purchase our first RV. Corey took us on a test drive and we felt 100% supported. Did I mention that Corey is the onsite mechanic? Talk about wearing multiple hats and making and impact on a sale (his first sale). Unfortunately the age of the RV wasn't able to be funded by our banks or credit union, but. we will continue to work with Corey in our search for the best fit. Honesty! When they say when they are going to do something, do it. They promised they were going to fix my generator that I bought the part for. I am next, I'll get to it right away, I had to fire the guy. Over two years it sat in dirt. I had 6 new tires, 3 new batteries drove it 1700 miles to manatee rv. After over 2 years I had it towed to a repair shop where I had to have a new fuel pump, tank dropped and soldered, new fuel lines, 6 new tires and three new batteries. It cost me over $6000 to be able to drive it again! I paid storage the whole time it was there. They could if told me that couldn't fix the generator. They should take off the part about they repair. read more

Don't trust tis repair shop. They are never done when they say and they do poor repair. They tried to repair my suburban furnace. Were two weeks over on completion and they didn't even screw it down when they gave it to me. Took it on a tri and it shorted out where they didn't connect it properly. read more

I arrived in Florida in December of 2024, had a issue with my 5th wheel, instead of ordering parts on line I decided to give a local business my busines, went to Manatee RV in Palmetto Fl the man working there took my order said parts would be here in a few days, never got them called them 3 times he said he would call me when they came in never did, ended up ordering parts on line got them in 5 days, call and left a message on January 20th for him to contact me to let me know what happened to my order, never called back, this is why people buy from the big box stores and not local, I will not give this guy my busines, obviously he does not care! read more

Do not deal with this dealer. We had our camper on consignment for 90 days per contract. They broke the contract 45 days into it, then charged our card for storage fee, then charged our card again the next month and our camper wasn't even at their facility. They are crooks. They take your money and run. read more

They took the time to listen. Their prices were fair & I felt I got my money's worth. We had a problem with our slide. Had taken our Class A to another shop that charged more & didn't fix the problem. Now it's fixed correctly. Very happy with the service! read more

I am a "local" with two RV's, and have tried various RV repair services in the Bradenton/Sarasota area, not very happy with any of them. I had no idea that Manatee RV offered service -- thought of them as an RV dealer -- but spotted some great reviews om Google so dared to hope that they might at least do overdue maintenance on my roof. I was pleasantly surprised to be treated in a friendly manner, and taken care of on the spot -- and quickly! I feel great relief to know that I've found someone 30 minutes from me that I feel I can count on to take care of our older motorhomes! read more

These guys are crooks, avoid this place at all costs. I purchased an RV from them and thinking buying from a dealer I was getting an RV that had been gone through. WRONG. I got an RV that I paid dealer price with a broken beyond repair generator, broken awning, a water heater that caught fire as soon as it was turned on, with all the the sewer lines broken underneath, with a non working horn, bad belt tensioner, bad coach battery and electrical issues stopping the coach battery from charging (this is just the major things, there was many other small things broken). Jeff is all nice and pleasant till he's made the sale, then he''ll hang up on you if you call. Toby pretends he's not the owner and won't take phone calls after you discover he is. I ended up spending in excess of $5000 on repairs on a "dealer gone through" RV. Save yourself the headache and buy from an owner or a reputable dealer. read more

We have excellent experience with this dealership. We Purchased a unit there several years ago. Recently they sold a unit for us that we had been trying to sell ourselves for several months. We have had a positive experience with this company both times. read more

I agree with Mark Z. Lots of promises and no follow through. Too many things to list them all. Be warned. We've had our RV which we bought from Manatee RV For 3 months now. Everytime we take it out for a weekend trip something else goes wrong. During the buying process we were promised lots of fixes and 3 months later, still not fixed. They have known about our big 3,000 mile trip since the day we bought. Leaving in 2 weeks and yup, still not fixed. Whatever you do, get any promises in writing. Once the sale is made , you are no longer a priority. read more

On second thought, forget what I said in my recent review of service we received at Manatee RV. At the moment, we are sitting on an exit ramp on I95 north in Selma, NC. The "repair" to our RV resulted in the tire flying off. That's right - the tire that was repaired. We are shaken but thankfully unhurt. Take your RV needs elswhere. read more

I am revising my review from 8/23/2013 of one star as I understand there are new owners as of 4/2015. That being said, do your due diligence, seems some of the later review are critical as well.. I bought a 2000 Damon Challenger motor Home in January 2013 and Still Haven't been Able to use the MotorHome yet as it has been in various repair facilities in Florida and Alabama since The Day I Purchased It ,this is JUNE 11, 2014,...They said. Had to sell our motor home as my husband has passed. Too big for me to drive. Tried several dealers who didn't want to work with me. Guess selling their inventory more profitable. Consigned my RV with Toby Jenkins at Manatee & 10 days later he had it sold! He treated me with respect, didn't make false promises and got me a very fair price. Stay away from Manatee RV. I found an RV that I liked, and I paid cash in full. There were no games from my end, and I expected the same from their end. They got the money quick from me. They wanted to hold the RV for a several days so that they can inspect and clean it before it was handed over to me. When I picked it up, the RV was not cleaned, vacuumed nor checked over for leaks. You would think the RV would have been delivered to me shiny clean from the inside out. The owner and the salesman both said that it would be delivered all in working condition and be examined for any leaks. When I picked it up, the salesman said there were no leaks. I found that the sink hose was loose therefore it was leaking. I had found this quickly before it damaged occurred. Two days later it rained, and did not find the leak until I noticed there was wet spots on the cushions in the bunk area. Upon removing them, it was wet all over. I spoke with the salesman and he said he did not find any leaks when it rained during the week they supposed be cleaning it up. I do not think he took a several seconds to lift up the cushions to inspect. He told me to put a fan on it to dry it out and it should be Ok. It was not Ok - I had to tear all of the wood out of the front bunk area. The owner said he would pick up the RV, and have it repaired. I dropped it and left it there for 5 days, and no work were performed. I picked up so that I can prepare do some other stuff to the RV. The following week I had it at my house, and they could have picked it up when they were ready to work on it. Nothing happened. I called the owner on the following Monday, and said to him that he can pick it up anytime that week, and he said he will get to it - never did. Even though, I bought the RV on the terms of "AS-IS", I could have challenged them in court because they lied to me about it not having any leaks. It was not worth the hassle, therefore I fixed it myself for less than $200.00. They also sold me a warranty knowing that I was looking for a policy that would cover water damage. When I brought to their attention about the water damage, that is when they told me it was not covered under the warranty. Manatee RV does not care about their customers and after- sales support. You would not get this bad treatment from Lazy Days nor Camping World in Tampa. Manatee RV lost my trust and future business. They are not the only game in town; research other dealers before you even consider Manatee RV. read more
