Owner also didn't make mention of insurance coverage until I asked him about it after reading the quote. Was very difficult to do business with Saunders RV. The owner has good intentions but isn't organized at all. I would look else where if you are looking to rent a RV for your trip.

The setup videos were helpful even if not precisely for the 2019 Jay Feather (unit B) we rented. Towing the 23' trailer with my V-6 Frontier was easier than expected, although you'll save some time if there are two of you to guide the towing vehicle to the trailer's hitch. I don't tow things often, but backing it I s kind of like riding a bike; once you've done it it comes back pretty readily. The unit was clean and well equipped for camping, although we were just parking it in our drive for the extra bedrooms and toilet. The cost seemed reasonable for our 3-night rental. The $150. for delivery and pickup, which includes the pump-out ($10 + $3 day pass @ Kohler-Andre State Park), is very reasonable, and is recommended if your time is valuable. All-in-all it was a great experience for the rental, and the use by our guests. One word of caution: be careful to only raise the trailer as high as necessary to clear the hitch ball on the towing vehicle. A 30A automotive blade type fuse protects the lift motor, and if "blown," by raising to the limit, you may be raising or lowering the trailer by hand crank, which is a bit more work.

We made some calls & were able to limp the trailer 5 miles back to Illinois to Finnegans RV Center. The service manager came right out & looked at the trailer. He verified they had the parts, moved out a job that was in the shop & pulled us right in to be worked on. We did a little shopping in the show room (they had everything we needed). He let know about how long it would be & the parts lady gave a great recommendation for lunch. They had us back on the road in just over 4 hours. Amazing service! Very friendly, helpful & reasonable. Was under the understanding that when they left, everything would be working and functional. We had to pay extra for the sewer hook ups. The trailer was 5-6" out of level and the washer leaked. 2 weeks later the hot water heater doesn't work and they are charging me $400 more for fixing that. Service is horrible. You can't ever seem to get ahold of anyone. And now that they bought out Quiet Woods they just use the disclaimer that they are trying to just make things right with the customers from the "old store" but have no obligations to them. I wouldn't buy a camper or RV from here ever again. And I certainly will never use their service centers again. I guess there's no grace period after you buy the camper. If something breaks one day in, you're screwed!!
