Service: First shout out to the manager Katie, she's amazing and you can tell she's a great leader and wants her customers to have an enjoyable experience! Second shout out to server Cameron! We literally ask for him now we love him he's attentive, patient, kind, and laughs at our jokes lol. Overall the service here has never failed me whether I've sat at the bar , or in the dining area, the hostess are kind even the valet. I'd always choose to spend my money where the service is outstanding and this Ruth Chris does it every time and I frequent this place so I would know. Food: my food is always prepared the way I request it. My fav Ruth classics just never miss. Compliments to the chefs here over 3 years they have been ultra consistent. Ambiance: this is downtown but doesn't feel like it when you step inside. It's very clean, bathrooms included (that's important). They usually have music playing subtly and I always enjoy myself whether I'm alone, with the kids, date night, or girls night, they've done well for all my occasions. Keep up the great leadership Katie! It's noticed and appreciated and we will stay coming back! And Cameron we will request you as long as you bringing that smile and awesome energy! Thank you both, thank you Ruth Chris! Overall: just go here just because it's Wednesday!

Faith was our server, she was so friendly and considerate. We originally scheduled our dinner for 615pm and ended up getting into downtown sooner than expected, they sat us right away, an hour early! Everyone loved the bread, even requested seconds and one to take home. The lobster tail was to die for, shrimp was also tasty, all sides are definitely shareable and delicious. Everyone loved their main dishes. We also ordered crab stuffed mushrooms and calamari, was not able to snag a photo but definitely recommend. Above all the atmosphere was calm, we went out as a family but would recommend for a date night occasion as well.

It was good the service was good the ambience could have been better the service was a little slow I did find that the manager was the one that show us around the most our price was pretty high but we were expecting that considering it was downtown Austin I would give it four stars out of five

Ruth's Chris of Austin was truly an experience, and I'd love to share why. Our server, Katelyn, was one of a kind. She walked us through the different steak cuts with confidence and clarity, even recommending the best knives to use and explaining why. Once she found out we were celebrating our anniversary, she offered us a complimentary glass of champagne--such a thoughtful touch. We ordered the porterhouse, a filet, mushrooms, and the lobster mac. Everything was spot-on. The food was served on warm plates to keep it hot throughout the meal, and the sides were both delicious and shareable. We even had enough to take home. The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and elegant. A special shout-out to the valet attendant who was working hard solo--he was hustling and still had a great attitude. The GM, Michael, stood out as well. He wasn't just managing from the sidelines--he was on the floor, carrying food, water, and checking in on tables. That kind of leadership shows. I was honestly nervous after reading all the glowing reviews, but now I get it--they're legit. I think I've found my new go-to spot.

Always a lovely experience at Ruth Chris! Their staff is top notch on customer service. This visit we started with Goat Cheese & Artichoke Dip and Crab Stuff Mushrooms. Both were divine, but the Dip.....WOW I need to learn how to make this at home. Absolutely my favorite of the whole meal! For salad I had a Caesar Salad. That was fresh and delicious. The main course I had the Chilean Sea Bass, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. The potatoes were my fav they were velvety smooth and packed with flavor. The Sea Bass was a bit on the drier side. I probably will not order this item again. Decent flavor, but just not for me. I was trying to stay away from red meat this evening. The dessert of Chocolate Sin Cake was decadent and I could only eat half. A must for dense chocolate lovers.

Business dinner with set menu. There were a lot of us. The food was good and my well done filet was perfectly cooked and tender. The family style sides were chosen for us but everything was good. Service was very prompt and polite.

We dined here on Valentine's Day 2025. We opted for Valet parking from the restaurant. It was $15 which is not abnormal for valet parking in Austin. The ambiance was fantastic - quiet enough to have a conversation but not so quiet that you felt like you're in a library. The service from our waiter was outstanding. He recommended a few side dishes and appetizers that were perfect for both of us. He also was kind and packed up our leftovers for us. The food itself was very good. Both steaks were cooked to perfection, calamari was crispy but not oily, sides were very indulgent and delicious. Pricey, but very worth it.

As always everything was amazing. The portions, the service etc etc etc. always top notch food, service and atmosphere.

Decided to spontaneously come here with my parents on a Friday night, and was able to get a reservation an hour from our spontaneous decision. The restaurant itself is nice, decorated and on par with other steak houses. I ordered the "Ruth's Classic- Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail." I chose Lobster Bisque for the Soup, and was pretty disappointed with how the soup tasted. I'm a huge fan of Lobster Bisque and had it from many places. This specific serving was very subpar. The steak, lobster tail, and mashed potatoes were very delicious. It saved my poor experience from the Lobster Bisque. Although the main entree itself was good, I rate this restaurant 3/5 because of the Lobster Bisque and how I found hair/ crumbs on our table.

Beautiful location and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Our server accidentally spilled drinks on two of our guests, and mistakes happen. They took care of it immediately, assisted the spilled upon parties in the bathroom, and the manager came out to help and give us his info for the dry cleaning bill. Despite that hiccup, our server was still amazing as we ordered and had dinner. The steaks are as flavorful, perfectly cooked, and tender as we have always remembered and expect from Ruth's Chris brand. The crab cakes continue to be a family favorite, and the chocolate sin cake was divine. We will be back, definitely!

The creamy fried shrimp is a must along with the baked chicken stuffed. Of course I took my wife out there and she loved it.

Rating: 3.1/5 We…read moretried The Austin Winery on two different occasions, and both times their wine was just okay or not good. The first time was a wine flight we had catered at our apartment, while the second time, we visited in person with a group of friends. Honestly, the wines we buy from Costco taste better. We did the $20 wine tasting flight where you get to choose 3 from the menu. The pros are that it's cheap and they give generous pours, but the con is that the wines don't taste good. Thank goodness I shared with my husband because I wouldn't have been able to finish it myself. 1. Picpoul Blanc: One Elm Vineyards - High Plains white wine with notes of lemongrass, pink lemonade, and raspberry. It was okay. 2. Aqua Pazza - High Plains/High Country orange wine with notes of apricot, candied lemon, and orange zest. It tasted like a bitter citrus wine and was our least favorite of the wines we tried. 3. GSM: Salt Lick Vineyards - Hill Country chilled red wine with notes of mint berry crunch and herbal. I think we prefer non-chilled red wine, since the tannins were super muted, but the cold temperature does make it more enjoyable on a hot day. Lavender Haze ($15): This is a wine cocktail made with Ocho, lemon, lavender simple syrup, topped with Rambler, and garnished with a lemon wheel. Ocho is a Salt Lick Vineyards - Hill Country white wine with soft lychee, beeswax, and freshly minted bills. It's a light and bright wine cocktail that's great for an afternoon drink. Bread With Oil & Balsamic Reduction ($6): You definitely need to dip the bread in the balsamic reduction; otherwise, the bread is just so bland by itself. Recommend getting the shareables instead, since the bread doesn't really add anything to the wine tasting. Our friends got the charcuterie, and the meat, cheese, and fig really helped us get through the wine flight.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.

Really love going to rosé goes!…read more I think everybody in town knows their service is not the best and that's not what they're known for but their cocktails are by far my favorite in all of Austin. Their drink number seven, which is basically a Yuzu gin sour is literally my favorite drink and all of Austin and still continues to be that way. Their food is also pretty decent, but I primarily go there for the drinks. Gotta get my wraps done before it actually closes down because I still don't know how to stay around
