The 3 stars?, for the very awkward service. We were a party of six. Waitress didn't seem too thrilled to have our table, which leads me to believe she assumed the worst of us. She automatically added her tip. Menu clearly states that happens for party of seven or more . Also they charge a credit card fee. I paid with a bank card. I didn't see anything about extra fees anywhere. We didn't experience this anywhere else in the area. Waitress would very unwelcoming ask if we were ready. "So yall ready". We visit Rockport 2 -3 times a year. I tip for a cup of coffee. But I guess we live in days where profiling has become the norm. It seems like a fun atmosphere, but the good vibes were just not there. The one drink I did order tasted like cough medicine. The potential for it being a great fun drink was there, but I was afraid to order a second. We wanted to hang out but we were very aware we were being rushed out the door.

The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, other diners are friendly and you don't feel rushed, although they get packed, for good reason. The servers and bartenders work hard to make your dining experience special, and do a great job at remembering their customers and their needs. It's a large, varied menu with lots of delicious and some unique items. Kudos to Chef Ben for his consistency, attention to special requests and for being a nice guy. The lovely Victoria does an incredible job managing this busy spot and hiring great staff. And, live music on weekends. This time I had the garlic shrimp, which was exceptional with a huge side of crispy, light , non greasy pub chips...yum. They are usually dusted with cheese, but mine were not due to an allergy. Dylan had the Prime Rib Sandwich, with fries, that he inhaled. A lovely couple next to us, who are regulars, Cathy and her husband (apologies), were so friendly and enjoyed their Million Dollar BLT and fries Kailey was our super attentive and pleasant server, and got to see the two best bartenders in the area, Felicia and Britt. Honestly, if you haven't been, your missing out! And there is also an outside sitting area, and across the street is the Fulton Pier, where you can see dolphins at night!

No liquor or mixed drinks. Maybe some beer, we didn't ask. They directed us down the road a bit to a fuller bar but this place looked great if you were a wine drinker and the prices seemed reasonable. They do not serve food but you can order from the restaurant down the block or bring in food I believe. They have TVs and lots of room. The wood and decor is very nice. It just was not what we were looking for at that moment but I suggest you check it out if your in the area.

They have a great selection of beer, wine and in the near future will be adding liquor. The staff is friendly and prompt with the drinks. The patrons are just there enjoying their drinks, music and friends (no visible drama the times I've been there). I'm an out-of-towner here for an extended stay in Goliad and have been in about a half a dozen times. I was fairly well accepted on my second or third time in and I've gotten to casually know a few people there have a good conversation over a beer. It's definitely my comfy spot here in town to relax and have a beer.

I had a Tipsy Blond (named for the Brewery's cat who I saw peeking out the window!) The beer was good and flavorful. I especially like that the menu includes the IBU value for each beer as I prefer beers with little bitterness. After I ordered beer, I flipped the menu over to discover many more cocktail and wine options! We had Rueben's, turkey burger or the regular burger and we all enjoyed the food. My tots were sprinkled with a peppery seasoning that gave them a bit of kick and they were very crispy. I'd suggest them over the fries which were not as crisp. The outdoor seating was cooled by a nice breeze. There is a small indoor bar. The main entrance is on the side street but is also accessible from Castell Ave. I can see enjoying another evening here!
