I like this place, as much for the folks who work there as the location and ambience. Really a nice, clean, comfy place to be. But the food is hit and miss. Great reuben, fries, burger. Oddly, the fish and Shepards pie was not as good to us. Fried fish crust had an unexpected flavor, like a seasoning used at Thanksgiving, and the tartar sauce resembled thousand island dressing. Nothing bad, just unexpected. The Shepards pie unfortunately had a lot less gravy than other's we've had, so seemed kinda of dry. Potatoes also denser than the whipped ones we have had elsewhere. Flavor fine, just details we did not prefer. We will for sure go back, want to try the meatloaf and other menu items. read more

I have never in my life been scolded at management because it took an hour for our food! We asked 2 different times why our order was taking so long and the waitress tried to tell us that one of the items takes longer in the oven, yet we watched many people come in, order, receive their order, pay and leave! Not to Mention the table behind us had the same item that supposedly took long to bake. To find out, the order wasn't put in until 40 minutes after it was placed!Rudest manager that needs some manager skills training! Don't recommend this place, especially if you want a quick meal! I had seen this place being built years ago and it intrigued me. My brother and I were looking for a new place to eat so we thought, let's stop at Fulton Irish pub and grill. It's really nice and large inside. Our server was okay but not very knowledgeable on craft beers so we decided to talk to Felicia, the bartender, she was so knowledgeable about beers that we told our server we were moving to the bar. My brother and I split the fish and chips. Cod with home made chips. Unfortunately the cod was frozen, it wasn't bad but it wasn't fresh either. The chips were good but with homemade chips some of them were soggy, You can order fries instead. There was no crowd at all but it was a Wednesday evening. Stopped in to try it out, an Irish pub in Fulton. Wanted something different ordered the shepherds pie and a cold beer. Waitress was ok not too slow, about right for a pub. The shepherds pie was ok- basically ground meat with potatoes. I added hot sauce to spice it up. Overall the pub was ok, just nothing to get excited about. read more

Very friendly service. I enjoyed the drinks here. It was nice to sit near the beach. I loved my drink. I am looking forward to trying my fries and shepards pies. My husband enjoyed his Guinness beer: the waiter took a picture of us: we got corned beef chips. My husband liked is chips a lot. We both loved the daiquiri . This is my second time here and it is sooo good! The atmosphere is perfect for an Irish Pub on the water! The bar is beautiful and I believe they said it was brought over from Ireland. Lots of beer choices on draft. Service is always good. It is a little slower because let's face it, we are on Island time so be patient and enjoy the view. The food though!!!! OMG!!! The Rueben sandwich just hits!!! And make sure to get their house made chips!!!!! Everything is just amazing! Wish I had taken a picture of the Rueben, but it was so good and I was hungry!! I'll be back over and over for that! (And to the one who gave 4 stars because they don't have jalapeños, are you serious!? This is an IRISH PUB! That's not a thing. Been coming here for several years. The drunken mussels is a new menu item and I have been wanting to try them. So tonight was was the night!! Overall I am very pleased with the overall taste!! They were not over bearing and had a good garlicky taste to them, which was great!! The sauce was wonderful. They need to add a side of garlic bread to top it off. This is the second time I've been here, and the first time I had a full meal here. I mean who goes to an Irish Pub & Grill for good food. I am willing to give the place it's fair shot. Boy howdy it was worth it. They took their shoot and bullseyed. I forgot what I ordered lol. However it was their version of loaded nachos. I also ordered the "Mussels" dinner plate and it was "magically delicious" ha ha ha see what I did there. I emptied the plate. My Mom had a glass of their merlot and usually a merlot is dry, but this glass was sweet and quenched the thirst. Our server "Halea" was great, my Mom said she was the best in the house. She was very kind and sweet. Since I was with my folks I didn't get to order my usual "pickle back" shots. I cannot wait to go back. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star is because they do not stock or keep jalapeños. This is Texas! read more

After a long day on the road, we needed food, and this was one of the only places still open at 7 PM on a Sunday night in the area. The service was great - our server was very friendly. The food was delicious. I ordered the Bakti Shrimp - what's not to love about a potato pancake smothered in grilled shrimp and delicious sauce!? My husband ordered the Rueben and said it was just what he wanted. The wine selection was better than expected and I got a glass of Bogle pinot noir to enjoy with my shrimp. When I think of the beach, I don't think Irish Food. Honestly. However, thankfully my mother doesn't like seafood or I would've missed a GEM of a place. There's Historic Value, Irish Charm, Irish Wit, and best of all the Irish Food truly hit the spot on a chilly day on a beach vacation. My family enjoys looking at boats and this restaurant is right next door to our activity. We were seated promptly with a fantastic view of the boats outside and the waterfront. The waitress was charming, decked out in everything Irish. I ordered the hearty Dublin Chicken Coddle. It came with a "Irish Soda Muffin" that was great dipped in the broth. My rest of my family is fiends for Chicken Breast Pot Pie. Can I say it was deliciously beautiful? I had a few bites of that as well. To finish off everything, we also all ordered the standard Irish Beer, the dark ruby red Guinness Draught Stout. Its creamy malty flavor was the perfect combination to wash down our meal. I usually love the Irish Pub, but last night it was very disappointing. It seems every time we go, they have fewer items on the menu. Last night I had the Dublin Chicken Coddle. It was supposed to be a Guinness chicken stew, but it was basically a luke warm soup. It was supposed to have: onions, carrots, potatoes, bacon, bangers and broth. It had potatoes all right, at least 6 or 7 boiled potato halves, it may have had onion, actually I thought it was cabbage. It had an ok chicken broth, definitely didn't get any Guinness flavor in it though. And it had a few really dry small chicken chunks and two or three small, thin bits of bacon. No carrots and definitely no bangers. The soda bread muffin was good. I ate a couple of the potatoes, chewed on a few of the dry chicken chunks and whatever the onion/cabbage was and drank most of the soup. Left at least 4+ potatoes and the last few chicken chunks. Asked for butter for the soda bread muffin - they didn't bother giving me a knife for it. Their place setting consisted of a fork in a paper bag. They gave me a soup spoon with the "stew." I'll go back again, but I'll definitely get something else. read more

Fulton is a regular stop for us now, because of this place. I could eat there every day. The Rueben is to die for. The Bangers and Mash melts in your mouth. The Shepard's Pie is fantastic and the Prime Rib Sandwich with bacon jam needs a song to be written about it. WE EVEN ATE THANKSGIVING DINNER THERE!!! Food was not good at all! I got the Caesar chicken salad and it tasted like "dish" water! I was not offered a replacement or refund. I also had some beer and it tasted "old". The only good thing was the live music. The gentleman singing kept the crowd going but once he finished, the place was super dead ! What a cool looking bar! This place has what looks to be an authentic wooden Irish bar, complete with stained glass, and a little roof over the drinkers' heads, even though it's already indoors. This Irish bar offers a wide variety of local and macro brews, even supporting the breweries in the area. They have a full bar, where they seem to specialize in margaritas. It's great the bartenders seem to know all the regulars, and their drinks. I saw where a patron would drop off their cup at the bar on the way to the restroom, and without saying anything there'd be a fresh drink waiting for them by the time they emerged from the restroom. Parking is plentiful- they have a huge dirt lot. I went in the rain, and it turned into a mud pit. There's a stage for live music, and an outdoors area. The staff was friendly, and asked for my name, and called me by name the rest of my time there. There's a lot of fried foods on the menu, I got the Reuben which seemed to have been mostly microwaved in its preparation. The best part was the french fries that had a bit of herbal salt added to them. I was less than enthusiastic that the staff had to work out their myriad technical issues with the cash register system before I could get my order into the kitchen to get some food out of this grill. read more

The staff was warm and welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. We are kind of new to Irish food so most of our patties stuck to the basics, burgers and chicken tenders. I was brave enough to try the shepherds pie and now I can't stop thinking about it. It was absolutely delicious. The meal was everything we needed with a wonderful atmosphere. A big thank you to Victoria and the staff who mailed me my missing credit card a few days after I forgot to take it with me. The level of service and care here is unmatched in Rockport.
