New to the area and have been going to the bomb well before I moved here. Good food and service has always been top notch! We went on June 8th, wasn't overly crowded, got our normal spot, ordered our drinks and placed our food order. 1 hour and 40 minutes later after 2 inquiries on where our order is. We were told that they were out of buttered potatoes. So we changed to green beans. Mind you, we watched other folks who got their food before us after only being there like 30 minutes. Finally after 1 hour 45 minutes, food showed... with buttered potatoes!! What is going on?!? Really disappointed... considering NOT RETURNING! read more

Outstanding service by the bar staff which is always appreciated! The regular staple dishes have been amped up a notch--shredded chicken instead of chunk makes a world of difference in a dish. Very busy but worth the wait. The food is outstanding. The only issue is that when a live band is playing it is very loud. I highly recommend eating here and the building has a lot of history dating back to the late 1800's. read more

Wow was I surprised! I definitely didn't expect to find such a gem in the such a small town. I love the vibe here. Good live music, good food, and great service! The proportions are a good amount. I had the fried country chicken salad with jalapeño ranch! Salad was fresh chicken was moist and crispy and jalapeño ranch! What else needs to be said? This place is a gem! The atmosphere is absolutely perfect. The staff are nice and attentive. The food is awesome. We tried a few items from the limited menu they have right now due to covid and loved everything. The chicken fried steak with jalapeno cream gravy is out of this world. It's good. The menu is thin and not really kid friendly. If you want a good steak, it'll be hard to beat in this area but you will have to pay. For the price, the steak (ribeye) is good. It's not a premium steakhouse quality but that does cost about twice as much. My advice: if you want an OK steak, and want to pay $18, go to Chilis or Roadhouse, but if you want a good steak and pay $25, go here. If you want a premium steak, then go elsewhere and pay $40+. read more
