Love all of there tacos! And don't get me started on their queso! Yummy! If your close in the area you can get it delivered which is great.

Food took forever to get (girls were busting their butts, guys seemed lacadestical. Margarita tasted too much like a mix. Shrimp tacos were not good (tiny and over cooked and over seasoned). Fish tacos were good. Go to Teresa's tacos, they are soooo much better in every way! read more

Pretty tasty tacos...Portion size is pretty teeny tiny but surprisingly at three tacos I'm pretty full. But at $3 a taco it adds up. Good salsa and without it the tacos would be pretty tasteless. I have only dined in once and sat outside because the inside is like an echo chamber and loud. My take out experience has been pretty good - turnaround time is quick. Staff is reasonably competent and friendly. read more

Had the chicken nachos with queso. The chip's are fabulous! I would remind you they are $2.50 tacos so get 2 or more if you wanna be full! Can't wait to go again. read more

Nice menu at RT. Good selection of Mexican beers and Jarrittos soda to and fair value- 3 tacos for $7.5 = decent size meal. Why only 3 stars? Two reasons: First, the meat in EVERY taco we ordered was cool. Obviously pre--cooked long before it was served. It spoils the whole hot/cold effect of eating a taco if EVERYTHING is cold. Second reason, tables were available but the empty ones were all dirty so I had to wipe one off myself. Understandable if a place is busy but it wasn't so no excuse. These tacos are good when they are prepared properly....c'mon RT you can do better! read more

Over priced, very little taco for the price - they were out of guacamole and had churros on the menu but didn't have those either. Meat was extremely salty! There were no customers inside and the floor was covered with soda and the place was a mess. . read more

Nice place to eat. Very friendly staff and good prices! There is a nice patio for when it is nice out. Food never disappoints!

I had high hopes for this place. It's close to my house. The menu choices sounded fantastic. It has a cool looking interior. I ordered the chicken fajita taco, the shrimp taco and the chips and cheese dip. The chicken was flavorless and the only vegetables in it were some onions. The shrimp was a little better. It came with shredded cabbage and a decent sauce. The cheese dip was even disappointing. If they are going for Minnesota blah they have nailed it. Not worth the money. read more

I didn't have expectations so it wasn't better or worse than I thought. The cheese was not melted on my chicken nachos at all. Shrimp tacos were very good, but the pork tacos I wouldn't order again. We'll come back to try other tacos, breakfast tacos and margaritas. read more

Service was horrible. The food eventually was good, but not worth the wait. $3.00 for a taco you wait an hour for should be free. We got there at 7:10 pm on a Friday and they only had 4 staff on hand. We got our food at 8:15. The staff who was there was working very hard, but the place was dirty, tables not bused, and food was late. Also, the line was so long getting another drink was impossible while you waited. Net, this unit is poorly owned and manages. I don't fault the staff, but fault the management. The poor management simply is throwing money away. Disappointed customers and lost alcohol sales. I will never go back again. read more

My husband and I went for dinner there on a Tuesday evening. We ordered #6 Rajas Taco, #7 Fish Taco, #2 Roasted Pork Taco, #13 Texican Taco and one Sopapilla dessert. I enjoyed #2 & #13 taco the most because the flavor came together so well and the tortilla stayed intact while I ate them. #6 and #7 I had a hard time eating as the tortilla fell apart instantly as I picked it up to take a bite. The #6 had good flavors for just being all veggies and I would have enjoyed it better had it stayed together. #7, the fish itself was a bit on the dry side. I would not recommend the dessert we had. It was not good. The dessert itself was deep fried bread, hollow on the inside and sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. The honey it came with to be dipped tasted like oil. Overall, I'd maybe go back and try some more tacos. read more

Love this place. If you're looking for authentic mexican tacos-don't bother looking here, go to Lake street. My favorite is the chicken fried chicken, nice restaurant addition in Plymouth area. read more

Got the brisket, pork and fish tacos. The pork and fish were good but the brisket was a little dry. On one of our previous visits my wife had gotten one of the breakfast tacos. She said it was a little too salty. Also, their prices are a bit high for what you get. Most taquerias (like Andale Taqueria) only charge $2 for a chicken Taco and $2.50 at most for shrimp. read more

Stopped in today at 12:45 for two tacos, no waiting in line for the order, but 30 minutes later I walked out with my tacos, flavor is good but really, it shouldn't take them that long to make a few tacos read more

The tacos were decent! I recommend the shrimp and pineapple. We went there for dinner though, bad idea, the menu isn't very kid friendly and the ground beef has a spice to it not all of the kids enjoyed. My oldest daughter got the chicken tacos which were very dry. My husband got the BBQ pork tacos and chicken nachos. The nachos were lacking, just bits of chicken and shredded unmelted cheese. The bottom of the nacho bowl was all what you would get from the bottom of a bag. All in all. An okay place for an adult who wants to run through for lunch and have a beer, or maybe some evening margaritas with friends. But definitely not for dinner and not for picky kids! There were 4 of us, we each got 3 tacos, drinks, the nachos and chips and guac... The bill was 49.60 read more

Loved the food truck downtown so was excited to see them open in maple grove. I went with the Baja Shrimp Taco which I thought was excellent. The Baja sauce added a nice touch of heat without overpowering and was nicely complemented with the cilantro and sliced cabbage. I also had the rusty taco, which was good, but I thought a bit boring for a namesake taco. My wife, who frequently protests when I want Mexican, really liked the gringo and we both thought the salsas and sauces were fresh and well done. Four stars for the category and would opt for this over chipotle/Baja sole/etc any day. read more

Below expectations, small tacos, little flavor on the #2 taco I had, guacamole was good, chips were average. Staff was friendly enough, but didn't really have to do much. I wont go back. read more

Our new favorite place to stop by for Tacos! Customer service is great and fun. The menu is so easy to choose from. Yummy! read more

Rusty Taco - At first we were hesitant to go and try this place out but I'm so GLAD we did! - Tex-Mex Near Me - Maple Grove, Minnesota

My girlfriends and I were celebrating our birthdays at R Taco last weekend. The fun young man who took our order sang happy birthday to us and took the time to cut out our initials in sopapillas! Mind you we were celebrating our 54th birthdays, so he was only motivated by kindness! Kudos to R Taco for awesome employees and delicious tacos! We will definitely be back! read more

I've had pretty much every taco on the menu and they all rock! Great prices and always delicious! A really fun and laid back place to go.

Some of the BEST tacos I've ever had. And so unique too! We love the patio here!

Had 3 chicken tacos that I really enjoyed. Both the medium and the hot sauces are highly recommended!

I've been a regular at Rusty Taco for quite a while. The Maple Grove location tends to have horrible music as "ambiance" but their food is simply the best I've had in town - and gluten free too! So... bring your ear plugs and enjoy the awesome food! read more

Just very frustrating took me 39 min before I got my order and when I did all 5 tacos even the queso is cold!!!! The staff seemed very confused and lost!!! read more

I brought my mother in for dinner. She has limited mobility. It was quite busy and we were sitting at a table by a window. The temperature outside was about 45 degrees. One of the cooks came over and opened the window wide open. We were freezing and there was no other table available. He certainly wasn't thinking about the customers! read more

Street style tacos in an easy to access location. A variety of yummy vegetarian options. Indoor and outdoor seating. Enjoyed everything we tried. read more

Really??....dogs allowed on the outside patio eating area ....gross. Plus it was left unattended and not tied up for awhile... So far I'm unimpressed by the food..which is to bad because it is a good location. I will not be returning now that Brueggers bagels is opening...hope we get a lot better quality of food from them! read more

I have enjoyed the flavors in all the tacos I've tried so far; and the habanero sauce is GREAT (and actually spicy which can be hard to find in MN!). The pork and fish tacos have been my favorites. The service is fast & friendly. The one negative - a few times the meat has been on the dry side (especially the brisket). 2 tacos fill me up; which is under $6 - so very affordable meal. read more

Months ago we dined for a quick meal at Rusty. After the experience we rule out going back. Tonight we thought why not, let give Rusty another shot. Having e joyed this food in small places in Southern California; we surprised with a treat. New management had stepped up there game, it was great. We will be back. read more

This place is where you gotta be. You have to get the flour tortilla. It is so good, this kid André told me about it who works there. This place is so amazing, top three places to be. He'll hook you up. read more

Great low-key, low-cost option! You can bring your dog on the inviting patio, enjoy a margarita or beer and share nachos with a friend. The tacos are interesting in a good way - love the vegetarian option! read more

The staff was incredibly friendly. You could easily tell that they were passionate about their job & providing a quality product. The Baja Shrimp taco was the perfect amount of spice. The queso is super good. read more

Love this place! We come here for breakfast all the time. Their potato egg and cheese and raja tacos are some of our favorites. Love their habenero sauce too. And that they are so dog friendly! read more

I usually ignore bad customer service reviews but this was ridiculous. Got steak fajita tacos. Had phoned in an order about steak tacos and they said these were, but like the name said, they were fajitas. Meat was in big chunks. Asked for sauce to go and got three small cups of sauce all 1/4 full. Tried to pay but manager was refunding money for someone tired of waiting. He was blocking one register while another employee was fielding a complaint on the phone, blocking the one with my food. This went on for about 3 minutes while the line guy cooking walked up to stare over everyone's shoulder. The place was packed full of irritated customers while the cluster of employees stood around. I finally paid but the employees had widened the do-nothing cluster. The lady with the refund didn't get an apology, didn't even get a look in the eye. The tacos? Other than the gold ball chunk of meat, they were just ok. Wouldn't go back again. read more

I love the concept, the menu and even the friendly staff, but it always comes up short on experience. It still feels like an inefficient and experience lacking start-up. I would really like to see them raise the bar as they have the potential to be a great fast casual option. read more

Disclaimer, we are VERY picky about our Mexican food. First, service was fast. Second, the chips were crisp and salsas were good and the shrimp and fish tacos were really good. Lastly, not happy with any of the beef or pork tacos. They were all dry and under seasoned. Worth a try but we will probably just continue to make our own. read more

I love Rusty Taco but this is definitely the worst location. They apparently ran out of chips and their fryer is down so they can't make more. I've been waiting 15 minutes for my order of 6 tacos. This is not the first time I've had to wait so long here. Delicious food, but get your act together. Seriously. read more

This place has changed dramatically. First, every time you go in there the staff is totally different. I'm not knocking them at all. They are friendly and courteous and look like they are working their butts off. I just picked up an order to go and brought it home for dinner. The food was cold and I only live a mile away. The chips and quest, I just have to ask, What changed? This used to be awesome. Now it's a watered down version of what it used to be. Believe me when I tell you that this needs to be thick and creamy, not watery like you're trying to make it go a long way. Don't know if we'll be back. read more

So apparently now it is R Taco and owned by Buffalo Wild Wings, but I've been a fan of Rusty Taco for a few years, ever since I discovered the St. Paul location. Good tacos, buy 'em by the piece. Chips and salsa and/or guac. Beer on tap. It's not a huge location and by noon seating was very tight. But I arrived early and the manager was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. I'll be back! read more

I've had MULTIPLE issues with gluten here. Good flavor. I've double checked at check out that things wouldn't be battered and would be on corn tortillas and I continue to get food in flour or fried in batter. Not worth it read more
