This location was clean but the wait was kinda long for 2 tacos and chips for an afternoon lunch considering there was no other before us but we got the favorite Baja shrimp tacos. We saw the buffalo nachos come out those looked fire too! It was a work lunch but I would definitely get a margarita! Cutesy valentines margarita available! Will be back for sure!

Food 3/5 - Overall the portion sizes and food was not consistent. The fajita steak salad was missing a good amount of lettuce and the taco portion sizes were inconsistent and not very warm. Service / Ambiance 4/5 - The main cashier/cook was hustling and was short staff. He was getting food out as quickly as he could. The restaurant was clean and service had an inviting attitude.

The older white guy working there decided I didn't deserve any salsa that comes with my order. Entire taco was undercooked. Every lime slice was smaller than my pinkie nail and bone dry. For $4.00+ a taco, yikes.

I had JUST added this to my list of places to try this year before I realized it was less than ten minutes away! So, like anyone who skipped lunch would do, I abandoned my post at work to go try these tacos. What I loved: The Tacos are BOMB. They are tiny (way smaller than I thought) but they are incredibly good. I had the crispy shrimp taco and the fried chicken taco. Next time someone asks what food I would take with me on a deserted island I'm choosing these tacos. So, there you go. The staff was quick and friendly. The guy helping me walked me through some of the different types of tacos and they were ready within 5 minutes of the time I ordered. They also have lots of places to sit so I was able to snag a little corner table and eat my tacos in peace which was a plus for me! What I didn't love: I snuck in a margarita (shhh) and it was a bit strong for my taste. I like my alcohol without the taste of alcohol if you know what I mean. If I had more time I would've finished it, but it wouldn't be my margarita place of choice. I also REALLY wish the tacos were bigger! When I looked at the menu I was amazed at the calorie count until I realized I probably would need to eat at LEAST four of them to be really satisfied. Overall I'm giving Rusty Taco 4 stars because I know I'm going to be craving these tacos again in the near future!

Stopped in for a quick lunch with the family. Seemed like we interrupted the employee meal time and the place was not busy at all. Food took a little long, but we didn't mind assuming everything was going to be coming out fresh. Unfortunately everything came out ice cold, the tortilla chips were overcooked and tacos were really small. I don't mind paying a little more to get a good quality taco, but at least give me a good full taco. Maybe it was just an off day, it was our 1st time in. Not sure we will be coming g back anytime soon.

Worst food I have ever encountered in the past 30 years. Takeout order of beef taco, pork taco, and chicken taco. Beef was charred black, hard and dry as dog food; no taste. Chicken and pork dry and overcooked. Soft shell was hard with cracked stale edges. Tiny tacos, cold and uninviting. Taco Bell on its worst day could never be as bad as this. Skip it and go home and make your own.

Every single time I come there it's always such an unpleasant vibe. I get the workers are unhappy, but I just genuinely feel unwanted there.

For eat-in or patio, always good. Internet orders seem always to be wrong. Inside is a bit too noisy, but the patio is nice.

My top favorite dishes: - "QUESABIRRIA TACOS"!!! If you come for NOTHING else, the Quesabirria tacos are the only thing you should strongly consider stopping by for. Stuffed to the brim with tender, shredded, slow-cooked beef and cheese, served with a hearty consomé for dipping, these Quesabirria tacos will brighten anyone's cloudy day. If you're looking at the menu and nothing speaks to you, want to try something new, are in the mood for a comfort meal, or just want to guarantee a solid meal, the Quesabirria tacos are your fool-proof option. - "Enchiladas Tapatias". My backup dish if I'm not in the mood for Quesabirria tacos is these stuffed chicken enchiladas, covered in a cheese sauce. Served with rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomato & sour cream, this dish is a cheesy, gooey, delicious bite, every time. -"Taquitos Mexicanos". Four deep-fried taquitos stuffed with chicken or beef, served with guac, lettuce, tomato & sour cream. You won't find these bad boys anywhere else but in the appetizers section. If you blink twice, you might miss it. If you're not too hungry, this is a great, "light" option that's both filling and high protein ;-) -"Family Style 15 Street Tacos". This is a meal my family consumes at least once a month. It's practical, filling, and leaves leftovers! For $40, you get 15 corn tortilla tacos (your choice of protein), rice, refried beans, guacamole, chips, salsa, cilantro, & onion. If you need a meal for a group of 4-6, this is a phenomenal option. There are several other family-style options (including Margarita Mix ), ranging from $20-$50, available, but I've only tried & returned for the street tacos. -"Beergarita". This margarita with a twist is served with an upside-down 7 oz. Corona. Refreshing and stiff, this signature drink is a fun option to try with any meal. Riviera Maya is a delightful family-owned restaurant. The service is exceptional. Our family is always treated with the best care and attention. Riviera Maya is a hidden gem in the heart of Maple Grove, typically full on weekends. Whether takeout or dine-in, I'd encourage you to check them out!

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a diverse selection of dairy products, sodas, and snacks that you don't typically find all in one place. That variety directly stood out to me. Unlike many markets that focus on just one country, Loma Bonita offers a wide range of products from across Latin America, including El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, and more. One area for improvement is pricing clarity. In some sections, particularly dairy, labels can be difficult to match to specific items. That said, the staff at the checkout counter is willing to assist with price checks. As you move through the store, the selection just keeps getting better: fresh cuts of meat, frozen goods from around the world, and ready-to-eat hot meals. There's even a paletero (ice cream stand) tucked near the back by the produce section. The produce department stands out for its range, availability and affordability. It's great to find items like culantro, yellow (ripe) and green plantains, papaya, guava, mango, nance, yuca, and malanga, along with standard produce. Having all this fresh and reasonably priced is a big plus. What is the reward of visiting Loma Bonita? Their restaurant food! I almost always leave with a "Burrito de Asada" or "Huarache de Asada". Everything is made fresh to order, though they also offer convenient grab-and-go options like whole chicken and Mexican rice. On weekends, the menu expands with items like menudo and tacos dorados, making it more enticing to visit. There are multiple Loma Bonita locations in the Twin Cities, and while this one may be smaller, it's still packed with great finds. Pro tip: For homemade tacos, get their fresh, handmade corn tortillas. They're a game changer!

Taqueria LomaBonita is located in the back a grocery/bakery called Supermercado y Panaderia LomaBonita in Crystal. Firstly, the grocery store is amazing and features a huge selection of Mexican special items that you really can't find elsewhere, including a whole array of locally made tortillas, specially cut meats, tacos dorados, house made salsas, etc. In the back of the grocery store is this taco shop which sells a whole bunch of Mexican classics for between $5-15 depending on the item. I have tried about half the menu by now, and everything has been incredible. You have to get one of the many aguas (beverage) they have - my favorite is the sandia (watermelon), but they're all amazing. As for the food, my two favorite dishes so far have been the burrito and the enchiladas. Both are by far my favorite in the state, and the lengua is definitely the best meat choice I've tried. The staff are all extremely friendly, and serve you super quickly - the only potential downside is there may be a language barrier at times if you do not speak a little bit of Spanish. Just be ready to use Google translate should you need to. This taco shop is usually a little busy, but around the corner of it inside the grocery store, is a nice little seating area with very cute tables and colorful chairs. I highly recommend this place, it is one of my top 5 restaurants in Minnesota, and I come here almost weekly now.
