Well the sign says Rusty Spur Steakhouse, but I guess diner works. I'd call the theme western with a mural of an old western town painted on one wall. Lots of wood and old barn metal. The service was friendly and quick. My wife and I tried the special. I opted for pork chop and she chose the meatloaf. We had turnip greens, slaw, hush puppies, their cornbread pancake, southwest corn mix, and cabbage. That way we got to try most of the sides. They were out of some of them. Great flavor all around, like being back in grandma's house. Stop in and give them a try. I recommend the smoked pork chop. Tremendous flavor.

Diana is the sweetest waitress and we always ask for her by name.

As always our lunch came with a smile from Diana. On Friday it's Shrimp and Steak special, so my mom and I always show up and the the crew there are friendly and happy. The Rusty Spur has a different special every day, depending on your taste for the day. The outside is set with tables and and lighting for great ambiance. The indoors has a collection of old pictures and country memorabilia. It'll be well worth the stop.

Beautiful Fresh flowers on the table!

A Great place to eat! The waitress was great, she didn't hoover, but came to the table the right amount of times to refill our glasses and check on us. The place was very cozy. We will definitely go back.

A great local spot with good food and friendly server's. We went on a Friday night and they were very busy. We waited in the outdoor patio area and enjoyed the fire pit. It was a very nice evening.

The food are so good, we got the lunch combo ribeye and shrimp and you can choose how you want them to fix the shrimp, either grilled or fried. Either way its good. And the service are good and fast. Their Friday lunch combo ribeye and shrimp are $13.99+tax come with drink , french fries, toast, and ribeye & shrimp, it's good. Gonna come back to try different menus.

My boyfriend and I decided to stop and try out the food and I want to say that the food is amazing we got fried pickles as a appetizer and we both got burgers for our meal everything added up to be $35, but we barely got checked on by our waitress and the booths are kinda small but overall we had a good experience.

The food will evacuate your bowels in a hurry but may be well worth it for their burgers. The fried Twinkie needs to retire.

A huge shout-out to Natalie, our waitress who worked the evening of 12/22/25, she was phenomenal. The restaurant was completely packed, and she was handling around 12 tables at once flawlessly. Not once did we need to call her over for drink refills; she was always on top of it and checked in with us at just the right times. Outstanding service and great food all around. We will definitely be back!

The bathroom was super clean, which is always appreciated by the ladies! You can tell this place is either very well kept or newer. The staff were friendly, but the younger staff were very consumed with their gossip and how much they make in tips, making them unapproachable when it came to questions about the menu. It was really one server in particular. To start off, we got an order of the fried pickles. They were probably the best fried pickles I've had. The breading was what seemed to be a corn meal/ Panko mix, which made for a nice, crispy outside with a softer inside. For ranch lovers, they had some decent ranch as well! The spicy ranch that came with the pickles wasn't too spicy. The Southwestern Salad was awesome. The grilled onions, the sweetly drop peppers, the seasoning on the chicken, and the dressing came together for a super delicious sweet and savory, but tangy, burst of flavor. Highly recommend giving it a try! The wings were deliciously smoked and still had the crunch of what you'd expect from deep fried wings. The wings are also really quite large and packed lots of meat. The buffalo sauce did get lost in the Smokey flavor, but they were still really tasty.

A great looking building. Then it sort of flops when you try the buffet. I went on a Saturday around 6pm. The fried catfish and barbecue chicken were drier than Gandhi's flip flops. The mac & cheese noodle was good but they use a bad cheese product. The tossed spaghetti and meat sauce wasn't great. The bread pudding was stuck to the pan like spackle. Looking forward to grabbing a shower and a beer upstairs later. I hope they figure out the buffet before the Gem of Tennessee comes in on June 24th. That's the rumor anyway. ...Oh almost forgot, they had a country music artist playing for diner. I thought that was cool. If more people hear about this, maybe the food might not be as dry? Anyway, Good luck Tennessean. We'll be out on tour so won't get to see Dolly. Edit: went back in today. The trucker showers are huge, just missing sink space and hooks to hang your bag. Towels were real nice. Tried round 2 at the buffet. Slightly better. The apple bread pudding was good today. Meatloaf was good again. They can't seem to put out good chicken. The BBQ glazed chicken was rock hard and almost dry. They had some chicken patties in gravy that also wasn't great. The people are nice here, but I don't think they've got the right people in the kitchen just yet.
