I have to start by saying how incredibly kind and accommodating the staff at Legends Steak House truly are. On **12/31/2025**, my wife called the restaurant around **9:45 PM** to place a takeout order, even though they were getting ready to close. Without hesitation or complaint, they gladly took our order--and that alone speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service. The food was **hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious**, just as it always is. Every time we visit Legends Steak House, whether dining in or taking food to go, we consistently have a great experience. Dave and I went to Pulaski to meet a gentleman at Legends to purchase NWTF tickets. We met for lunch. The restaurant was crowded at 12:30. On Saturday their $12.50 hamburger or cheeseburger with fries or onion rings is on sale for $9.00. Our waitress quickly brought menus and drinks to our table. I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings and Dave ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The food was cooked quickly and brought out hot. My burger was burnt on one side. I cut it in half and ate the side that wasn't as burnt. The onion rings needed to cook longer as they weren't crisp. They were borderline mushy. 3/5 Dave's cheeseburger and fries were ok he said. His burger wasn't as burnt as mine. The fries could have cooked longer as they were mushy. 3/5 I must not be ordering the right foods when I go to Legends. I know I will be back and next time I will try something else. read more

Lots of reasons I won't eat here ever again. Let me start by saying the waitress was awesome! The food had a LOT of issues. I ordered a strawberry grilled chicken salad (because the salad bar looked messy and unkempt) and the it had a really funny taste. I inspected it a little further and realized there was slimy, rotten lettuce mixed in...needless to say my appetite was gone! My husband thought his food was mediocre at best and chose not to finish his meal. As we were leaving, we both stopped to use the restroom and the restroom's were FILTHY!! If you can't do something as simple as keeping the restrooms clean, what does that say about the rest of the establishment. How this place hasn't gotten shut down by the health department is mind boggling, but we won't be going back!! read more

Went there tonight because I heard it got better. It hadn't. The server was great but the food sucked. I wasn't that hungry but my wife and niece wanted to go out to dinner. I had a bacon cheeseburger, my wife had soup and salad bar and my niece had pasta. The burger bun wasn't toasted so it fell apart and the fries were old. The pasta was terrible and the soup was like glue. It's easy to make a good burger if you care enough. The soup was obviously pre made and sat in a steam table too long. If I ever go back I'll get a salad. They didn't screw that up. read more

I was VERY disappointed with this place. We came in, there was no one waiting. We got seated right away. Two others tables got seated after us and immediately placed their drink orders and food orders. No one came to take our order. No one even acknowledged us. Eventually we just got up and left. I grew up going to legends when it was in Florence, AL & missed it. My family & I went today for lunch & it was delicious. The salad bar was fully stocked, rolls were hot & fresh, and everyone lunch was hot and delicious. I had the two pork chops with white gravy, sweet potato casserole, & fried okra with the salad bar. The service was great! I didn't get our waitress name but she was wonderful & very patient with us. The ambiance was quiet and chill. I guess we hit it after the church traffic. Legends is a local chain throughout Middle Tennessee and Alabama. I have also eaten at their location in Smyrna and their sister Restaurant The Brass Lantern in Lawrenceburg. All of the locations I've been to have been good. My favorite is their salad bar because it has all the veggies and toppings you could want. I used the Pulaski location today to cater for one of my Doctors. He wanted steak so I asked the girls in the office to collect everyone's orders, place them for me and I'd go in, pick them up, and pay for the meals. Everyone was happy and raving about the food. I wanted something light today so I ordered the Strawberry Walnut Salad with Blackened Chicken. It was very good. My only complaint is that The balsamic dressing was a little too heavy (I should have ordered it on the side...my fault). Other than that it was amazing. read more

We have been to the Columbia location before and no issues. Visited the Pulaski location and our waitress just gave us 2 rolls. Chicken on my salad was cold, the bread w the salad was cold. Husband's burger and fries were cold and he got maybe 12 fries. We saw others who were seated after us get their food before us. My guess is we had a poor waitress read more

Hands down the worst service I've had at a restaurant. It took 10-15 minutes just for the waiter to take our drink order, then another 20 minutes for them to take our food order. If we asked for anything, the guy was super rude and huffed off--we felt like an inconvenience even asking for the check..He said they were short staffed, but the place was pretty dead. I don't know what happened to this restaurant, it has gone down hill and FAST!! We used to go there for a quick meal when we were in town, the food was good, but the last several visits to this place over the last few months has been shocking. How could they go down hill so fast, but they have. The food is NOT hot, it was cooked at some point in it's life, but by the time I got it it was warm, almost cold. The potato was not only lukewarm, it tasted like it had been left over from several days before. It was similar for a meal that had sauce, it was dry like it had set around on the stove so long the liquid had was almost entirely gone. It was disgraceful for any cook to serve it to a guess. What has happened to this business also shows even in the service, they lack attentiveness to their customers, customers have to wave them down for basic service like a refill, or even take the order after being seated. These guys have lost their drive to furnish customer service in a timely manner and hot good food, it's kind of basic, but basic is missing at this place. I am sad to admit, a visit to their nearest fast food restaurant was better, faster and more cost effective. read more

Legends looks like a cross between a Logan's Roadhouse & Ruby Tuesday. It was the fanciest place available near our hotel in Pulaski we had high hopes for a nice take out dinner. Overall, my smothered chicken, sauteed mushrooms, & side salad were okay -- nothing special in the seasonings, but tasty enough for me to eat almost the whole thing in one sitting. Unfortunately for my sister, her Seasoned Chicken entree salad came in the exact proportion of my side salad, for TWICE the price, and was less satisfying. To be honest, after a few bites and both of us questioning the listed ingredients, we discovered that her Seasoned Chicken was on top of my plain side salad, and I had all the extra ingredients - fried onions, bacon bits, etc - on what we THOUGHT was my side salad. She just couldn't win. On the good side, Legends provided more options than the nearby Taco Bell and KFC. Despite the lack of competition we felt they could afford to step up their (take-out) game. read more

Our waitress was very good. My friend and I ordered a ribeye steak. It was approximately 1/4 inch thick and looked like it was boiled, then thrown on the grill for a minute. It tasted horrible. They should be ashamed for serving such poor quality meat. And it was expensive. I have eaten a ribeye at Columbia Legends that was excellent. I should have asked for my money ack. read more

This was the second time here, the first time the meal was not very good. They seem to have trouble cooking steak to order. This time was worse I order a rare steak and it was over cooked, they brought out a second steak and it was cold. Ordered a Ceasars salad and it tasted not right. Kudos to the staff, and especially the GM. After a challenging and somber day, family members (10) from around the state of TN visited Legends of Pulaski for an afternoon meal. Adhering to social-distancing policies, we were seated in a room to ourselves to be served. The young server (round glasses) was outstanding. She patiently took our orders, kept our glasses filled, and ensured the dinner roll baskets were refilled at our beckoning request. After placing our orders and patiently waiting, an hour passed and we still had not received our meals. Understandably upset - especially since we we witnessed parties about half the size of ours come in after ours and receive their meals, we asked for a manager, specifically the GM. As a former GM in the restaurant business, I and the party were highly impressed with the GM's candor, professionalism, and willingness to right an unfortunate situation. We received our meals hot, properly prepared, and with a genuine apology and a hefty discount on our meals. Thank you Legends of Pulaski for changing what could have been an even more sad and horrible day into a pleasant afternoon with smiles and well wishes. read more

I go to Legends 3-4 times a week for lunch, salad bar and rolls. I love their bread. I have had to "fight" most of the waitresses and waiters for hot rolls. There are two waitresses there who are amazing, they are true "servers" the rest, well they are in the wrong business. Going "out" to eat means...we go to be served. I mean, salad and rolls, how hard is that? How hard is it to bring hot fresh bread to the table. It's not like you have to "knead" it and cook it. However they make it problem to the point today my waiter lied to me and told me they were "right out of the oven" when clearly they were same burnt rolls that were just microwaved. WOW. Sad thing is, the waitresses that do bring hot rolls I tip anywhere from 8-10 dollars on a 13-14 ticket. The General Manger made it right and thanked me for my business. I feel bad for him and I hope and pray he can get a better team. If you dont have a true desire to "serve" people ( GET THEM WHAT THEY ASK FOR) then dont wait on people. You make it horrible for them and yourself. read more
