Come to the house, I guess you all know why you're here.

I didn't know what to expect of this place. It's operated by Twelve Tribes, an "end times" Christian organization. Most said that the food was good, some said that it was sketchy, and others were worried that they'd be recruited into their cult. Well, I'm here to put it straight. Luckily, you have me to guide you through the weeds of doubt. I shall deliver the definitive word on what you should think. You will listen to me and be rewarded. For I am the soul of YELP, and you shall follow the path that I blaze. So it is said, and so it shall be. Now that we have an understanding, you can rest assured that you won't be recruited while sitting at your table. Pamphlets at the door will fill that purpose. You don't have to pick one up to read, but I do suggest that you bring some reading material, because there'll be quite a bit of empty time between when you order and when your food arrives. When your food does finally make an appearance, you'll thoroughly enjoy it. Fresh as fresh can be. The place is cool inside. Rustic and very clean. The servers (which were all men) are very congenial, and they definitely remind me of my days in the late 60's. The women were behind the counters or in the kitchen doing women's work? I'll let you draw your own conclusions on that one. You now have my permission to visit The Yellow Deli and partake in their fare. You WILL go, and you WILL enjoy. Quick Tip: To the lady who was sitting across from my daughter and I, for Gods sake...uh, oops, for Twelve Tribes sake, please do your insulin injection at home, in your car, in the restroom, or some other appropriate place. NOT while sitting at a restaurant table, and NOT while sitting across from me. Though the restaurant has a hippie vibe, it's not a shooting gallery.

Pretty cool place. I was seated upstairs and I felt like I was in a treehouse. The sandwich I ordered was hot and tasty, but the service seemed a bit slow

Yellow Deli definitely has an... interesting backstory... to say the least, so eating here was kind of a true YOLO moment for me. Let's just say, this place has a history of very CULTured people. All jokes aside, my friend and his partner swear that they have the best sandwiches and smoothies and eat there occasionally, so why not try it out? I went with the Deli Rose sandwich, which has roast beef, corned beef, pepper jack cheese, provolone cheese, onions, tomato, butter, mustard and their own "spicy red sauce", all packed onto an onion roll. Definitely not a sandwich for the faint of heart lol. As for the smoothie, I got a basic strawberry smoothie made with frozen fruits, juice, and honey. Everything was honestly delicious, I was very surprised. Would I go back? I definitely think so

The food was delicious and the service was great. Loved the decor. Everything locally grown and fresh.

01/17/2021 Great restaurant near downtown Pulaski TN. The food is really amazing... they bake their own bread (which you can purchase). The unique cold beverage selections are refreshing, my favorite is the Hibiscus Deli Cooler. The best hippie rustic vegan restaurant in Middle Tennessee.

A couple young girls, possibly working a summer job with minimal waitress experience, ignored me after taking my order. I ate my burger at the restaurant, but I also placed a to-go order and had to go to the counter to pick it up. No drink refills. No nothing. Finally, the restaurant was full of flies, which was a big turn-off.

The building was built in 1860. The original storefront was a pharmacy with rich woodworking that still existed; it is a very cool atmosphere. You'll enjoy hot, fresh plates, friendly service, and a true small-town vibe in a town with nearly 200 years of history. We started off with onion rings and wings. I wanted to try the fried green beans but did not get the chance, as I wanted to really try what's advertised as the best burger in TN. I ordered the 1/2 lb Double Bacon Cheeseburger, while my wife opted for the small 1/3 pound double bacon Cheese Burger. They both come with standard toppings of Mayo, mustard ketchsup, lettuce, tomatos onloin and pickles on a fresh sesame seed bun. I have to say that they lived up to the hype; we both agreed they were some of the best burgers we have had. The steak fries are also excellent with just the right amount of doneness and crispiness. My wife had the sweet potato fries as her option with the same opinion. Also, the railroad museum and the Colonel Littleton store next door are great places to shop and enjoy local culture. While I opted for a double-dipped butter pecan, which was excellent as well. My wife went the more traditional route with a hot fudge and peanut milkshake. While things were a little slow compared to other places, I was reminded by my wife of one the other reviews we read: " remember they are cooking your food fresh so it's not McDonald's..." This is in line with the slow, laid-back, relaxed atmosphere that makes this place all the better. This is a must-try if you are in the area. Highly recommend

The Farmhouse: Where Breakfast Comes Home to Roost…read more If you've read my reviews before, you know I'm not a particularly hard-boiled egg to crack. I don't demand gold-plated cutlery or waiters who can sabre a champagne bottle with a flourish. Give me solid food, a smile that doesn't feel forced, and a room that looks like it's seen a vacuum this decade, and I'll be happier than a biscuit in gravy. That said, The Farmhouse didn't just meet my expectations--it pulled a full-on "Avengers Assemble" and brought them together in a satisfying, bacon-scented breakfast epic. First impressions? Think "Little House on the Prairie" meets "HGTV on a budget"--rustic charm with just enough polish to let you know someone actually tried. The tablecloths are hanging on by a thread (literally), but the space itself is clean, comfy, and as inviting as grandma's front porch. Judging by the bustling Friday morning crowd, I'd say I'm not the only one who got the memo. The service? Friendlier than your favorite aunt at a church potluck. The staff had that rare balance of attentiveness without hovering. There's a sign on the wall that reads, "Come in a stranger, leave as a friend." I half-expected them to follow it up with "You've got a friend in me," Toy Story-style. Now, onto the reason we're all here: the food. Spoiler alert--it didn't disappoint. Mom ordered the Farmhouse Southern Omelette with home fries and gave it rave reviews. She praised the bacon-to-veggie ratio like it was a fine wine pairing and declared the seasoning "just right," in her best Goldilocks impression. The home fries? House-made and heart-warming. My wife went full Southern with the Hearty Breakfast, and it did exactly what it said on the menu--hearty enough to power a tractor and delicious enough to make you consider canceling lunch. She gave special kudos to the biscuits and gravy, which she claimed were "fluffy, creamy, and possibly blessed." As for me, I went for the Big Moo--a 10-ounce ribeye with eggs and a rogue pancake that snuck onto my plate like it was auditioning for dessert. The steak was a tad undercooked but well-seasoned enough that I didn't mind. And the tater tots? Crispy, golden nuggets of joy. I'd pair them with everything if society would let me. I was so pleased, I channeled my inner Ratatouille critic and requested a word with the chef. Chef John greeted me with the kind of genuine smile that says, "Yes, I do get up at 4 a.m. to make magic happen, and no, I don't regret it." He welcomed us back like old friends--which, by the vibe of the place, we might just be now. This, dear reader, is what I imagined when I dreamed of Alabama mornings: honest food, kind people, and a sense that somewhere nearby, a rooster might actually be crowing. The Farmhouse isn't trying to reinvent breakfast--it's just doing it right. To paraphrase The Godfather: Just when I thought I was out (of room), they pulled me back in--with another bite. Bravo, Farmhouse. Never change!

We all loved the Giddy Up Espresso Martinis, which were topped with adorable soccer ball design in celebration of the World Cup. We also enjoyed the Serrano & Jalapeño Bloody Mary (definitely brings the heat!), along with the Two to Mango Margarita and the returning Endless Summer Margarita, each had their own place and none disappointed! For brunch, I ordered the Southwest Breakfast Bowl. It was fresh, colorful, and packed with vegetables, making it feel nourishing without being heavy. The flavors worked well together, especially the combination of eggs, veggies, and southwest-inspired seasonings. My only suggestion would be adding a starch element, such as crispy breakfast potatoes or roasted sweet potatoes, to provide a little more texture and make the bowl feel more balanced and substantial. Even so, it was flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out was the service. Our team was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about both the food and drink menu, making the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, a great spot for brunch with friends, especially if you're looking for creative cocktails, a lively atmosphere, and excellent hospitality.
