Food and service were absolutely amazing! The wings were perfectly cooked, and the onion rings and slaw were delicious as well. A huge shout-out to Natalie, our waitress who worked the evening of 12/22/25, she was phenomenal. The restaurant was completely packed, and she was handling around 12 tables at once flawlessly. Loved the atmosphere here! They had outdoor string lights as the main lighting source, giving it a very industrial look. The bathroom was super clean, which is always appreciated by the ladies! You can tell this place is either very well kept or newer. The staff were friendly, but the younger staff were very consumed with their gossip and how much they make in tips, making them unapproachable when it came to questions about the menu. It was really one server in particular. To start off, we got an order of the fried pickles. They were probably the best fried pickles I've had. The breading was what seemed to be a corn meal/ Panko mix, which made for a nice, crispy outside with a softer inside. For ranch lovers, they had some decent ranch as well! The spicy ranch that came with the pickles wasn't too spicy. The Southwestern Salad was awesome. The grilled onions, the sweetly drop peppers, the seasoning on the chicken, and the dressing came together for a super delicious sweet and savory, but tangy, burst of flavor. Highly recommend giving it a try! The wings were deliciously smoked and still had the crunch of what you'd expect from deep fried wings. The wings are also really quite large and packed lots of meat. An unexpected gem of a place! Progressive menu with a bit of a sports bar vibe. Delish food paired with attentive staff in a clean environment gets 5 stars. We ordered pimento cheese wonton appetizer with a side of maple brussels sprouts then added "lunch size" flatbread with cauliflower crust. Will be back! read more

The service was fast and punctual, with a great layout for a bar/restaurant that is clean and enticing, but that's where it kind of ends. Ordered two blue berry lemon drops, didn't really taste much of the lemon, mostly the blue berry with a hint of the vodka. Ordered the fries to try an app before ordering a meal, I was also underwhelmed by it just fries with cheese sauce topped with bacon. I decided against dinner there since we were already two strikes in the food and drinks and didn't want to be disappointed by my main meal. The server was great and attentive but the food and drinks need to be memorable, especially for a $35 tab - which have could have easily gotten same food for a lot less at a big chain. We visited this place several months ago and I was impressed. That being said, we visited tonight and I'm not impressed. How expensive is it to garnish your burgers with a lettuce leaf, tomato, onion and pickle? Or even a slice of fruit? The burger I got was meat, cheese, sauce and bun. Not impressed. Over 100 years old, this place offers all the historic charm you'd expect. The menu offers a unique fare of incredible Adult Grilled Cheese with the meats! My only comment not really a complaint is that even with the high cost of operating a food and beverage establishment there are ways to make the mediocre magnificent. The side salad was very fresh and tasty as well. Excellent service from our server (a local student at UT Southern) and nice atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon.
