Ollie Birds quickly jumped to the top of my new places to try after reading about them in a local magazine. They are located inside a Valero gas station and only do takeout, and luckily close to my home. Other options for rotisserie chicken is the local grocery stores but prefer ones from restaurants like this one. The owner was very nice and and I ordered the 1/4 Bird Dark (Leg + Thigh). Once I got home I observed the chicken and looked and smelled delicious. It had some spices on it and had great flavor. The chicken was soft and juicy and quickly became my favorite. Found this place on Yelp when searching for a place with salad. Anytime I have a craving for something specific, I peruse the pictures other people have posted. lol This method has worked wonders for me. This little place is located inside a gas station FYI. When I walked up to the counter, the gentleman working was a bit distracted by his phone but once he acknowledged me, he was awesome! He told me all about their loyalty program, discounts if you do a Yelp review, and answered my questions about the food. I chose the Cali salad and decided to go ahead and try the broccoli pasta as well because someone's picture online looked yummy! The salad is huge! Soooo much stuff in there! I didn't have enough room to mix in the ranch but that's ok.... Just means the remaining salad won't get soggy since I couldn't even eat half lol! I've only had the cesar wrap, but it was AMAZING! So much food, and one wrap can easily feed two people, maybe more! My teenager's wrap didn't survive the trip home! A MUST TRY!!!! The first time I tasted this wrap, a friend shared a bit of hers with me and I had to know where it had come from. It's a fantastic chicken and healthy food option restaurant tucked inside this corner convenience gas station. I have eaten here several times now and the chicken is always so tender and delicious!!! Ollie Birds is always fresh and delicious! Their pita croutons are amazing. I would buy them on their own if I could. They're so tasty. It's usually fast. You have to order either in person or from Door Dash because they don't have the capability on their website (not yet??) and don't answer the phone.
