    Fun decor.

There are so many things to look at in this rustic eatery. Very popular place. We thought it would be a long wait, but they served coffee and tea while we waited. Less than 10 minutes to get a seat. We ordered breakfast. It came fast and the portions were large.

Talk about walking into a saloon style, breakfast/lunch diner style place! Upon entering, we were told it would be a 20 minute wait, but were immediately offered a coffee or a mimosa as we waited. Heck yea! Bring the mimosa in a boot shaped glass! Coffee was a lil weak, but it didn't really detract from anything. The cowboy burger hit the spot, and the fries were nice & crunchy. This place was super busy on a sunday at 11am. I wouldn't mind headin back sometime and trying the breakfast options. The menu was pretty big.

My family and I have been loyal customers for years. I went to breakfast with my brother recently and it was like stepping back to easier times.

Good food with good service. Excellent value. The French Toast was very good. My coffee cup never stayed empty.

We go once a week for our Dolly fix. She is the friendliest, hardest working waitress as they all are. Always a delicious meal.

It feels like you somehow wandered into a slightly spooky Disney bayou attraction that also happens to serve brunch. Decorated to the nines and immersive, it is both a meal and an experience. We went for an early Sunday breakfast and were seated quickly. By the time we left around 9 there were still a handful of open tables, but I would guess reservations are smart from 9:30 on. I started with a cortado made with Evan's Brothers beans. They also offer a chicory blend if that is your thing. Our waitress was attentive, answered all of our questions, and was great about a few modifications we asked for. They do have some gluten free and vegetarian options, though not a huge amount of gluten free. We started with the beignets and they were excellent. Perfect portion for two with a couple topping options. I would go back just for those. I ordered their take on eggs Benedict and my husband had the classic breakfast plate. Both were really flavorful, but the seasoned potatoes were a standout. Portions are generous, we ended up getting two more portions out of the leftovers. Overall, a really fun and memorable brunch spot. I am looking forward to going back for one of the events when they have live music.

Twice we have been on account I'm a local private Executive chef so my schedule is all over the map, so I took a shot getting a reso and yessaaahh we got one ( highly recommend ) you are greeted w a bubbly smiley faced owner who is so kind and will give to a brief over view of what's to be expected. Then you are aproached by one amazing server CJ who will guide you on the dining experience we chose everything suggested and it was so spot on in every facit . CJ handles her guests w such professionalism but very funny. The vibe is super chill something cda has needed for a long time . We chose to come back this holiday season to not only have the amazing fresh sheet beignets OMG we ordered two diffrent ones to hopefully take home some ! That didn't happen hahah . Support the shit out of this place and the amazing owner and staff they crush it every time. We have found our best brunch spot to start our amazing day off Executive Chef Terry Alexander

That said, the **service was fantastic**. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were properly taken care of throughout the meal. **The Food** I ordered the **Peach Bourbon BBQ Burger**. I loved the concept--the sweetness of the peach really complemented the savory beef beautifully. However, the execution fell a little short. There were only **two slices of peach** on the entire burger, and it was significantly **lacking sauce**. Between the minimal toppings and the lack of BBQ sauce, the burger ended up being quite dry. The sides didn't quite help the moisture issue, either. The **fries were very thin and overcooked**, giving them a crunchy, dry texture that made the overall meal feel a bit parched. Izzy's is a solid spot with great people, but I can't help but feel it might be a bit **overhyped by social media**. The flavors are definitely there, but for the price and the reputation, I was hoping for a bit more generosity with the toppings and better execution on the sides. Worth a try if you're in CDA, but maybe ask for extra sauce on the side!
