Stopped in for coffee and tried two of the seasonal drinks, the snowball and spiced citrus. They were both good but the spiced citrus was the clear winner. The cinnamon vanilla bagel was good, but would be better if they had some flavored cream cheese. That being said their cream cheese is whipped which is awesome! I really don't understand why every place doesn't at least offer whipped, but that's a personal preference. The cranberry orange scone was delicious and definitely a repeat purchase. They also have spaces set up that you can rent out. I didn't get the details but the rooms look nice, so if you need a meeting space for an hour or so give them a call. The interior itself is nicely decorated. It's in an old warehouse building so it has the authentic look and it feels nice and open. read more

Wow cool setting here in old downtown area refurb. My favorite type. Honey and Americano drink with side of Avacado Toast. REALLY GOOD.

Popped by here while passing through Toledo. The first four items I tried to order (based on the menu I had seen online), they didn't have. That was a big bummer. Fortunately, the items they did have were super tasty. The Americano I ordered was STIFF. I had to sip it like fine whiskey. At first, I didn't like it, but after I finished it about two hours later, I decided that I did like it. :) The breakfast bagel (without bacon) was very good. I do recommend that for sure. Beautiful space and nice counter staff. read more

Great coffee shop with extremely delicious coffee and avocado toast. There's lots of nearby street parking and a really relaxed atmosphere with tons of tables plus a co-working space in the back. read more

I'm not originally from the US. I consider myself a coffee snob and found it hard to find a great coffee in the past 8 years while living in Toledo. This place is excellent. Took me back to better coffee houses in warmer climates of years gone by. I recommend this coffee house 100%. - amazing coffee and great vibe. read more

We stopped at this gem on our way north. The baristas were so friendly. Coffee was great and atmosphere can't be beat. What a cool place to work from for the day. I wish we had something like this in Cincy ! read more

We rushed to get here on our way through Toledo before they closed, because I really wanted to try their rose latte. Unfortunately I discovered that it was seasonal. However their new seasonal item, sparkling lavender lemonade, was very good and refreshing with a good sour zip to it. I also got a Cortado as a consolation prize, and enjoyed it! The coffee is well balanced and well made. We grabbed a blueberry muffin and a chocolate donut. They were not the best baked goods I've ever had but were a fine compliment to the coffee. On top of everything, the service was stellar! We made it like 5 min before close and the barista was still kind enough to take our order and make it really well and tell us about the menu changes! Overall it was a great stop and I can see why it is the top coffee spot on yelp right now. If we lived in the area we would probably be regulars already. :) read more

Really nice coffee and beautiful place. It's a shame that they are not caring about the current pandemic. Allowing workers and customers walking in and around not wearing masks. Social distancing is not enforced. It's starting to ruin my image of the cafe. Rethinking my decision on giving my business again. read more

Ordered Thai iced tea. BEST ever. Has star anise mixed in sweet cold foam on top. Wow

Random trip from Columbus to Toledo to see what type of Jeep shops etc. they had. Town was dead and no sign of Jeep anything anywhere. Happened across this place open in downtown and decided to stretch my legs. Had the best Dirty Chai Latte I've ever had anywhere. Cool little vibe and place. Which I had had time to pull up a chair and hangs out. read more

The Rustbelt is one of my favorite coffee places. I love that Lyle's crepes are parked outside on Saturday mornings. There's something special about a lemon berry crepe to go with my hot chai tea with almond milk. Rustbelt offers a cool atmosphere and friendly people. This place has been a favorite when I'm in town. Candidly it's also near to my heart because I took my wife there on our second date - her birthday - and so we'll always have a fond memory. The area surrounding Rust Belt Coffee is a bit rough but it feels very safe in the parking lot and café. The decor is modern rustic and has a very cool vibe. The food and drinks are exceptionally prepared and presented. I also love that there is a separate area in the back that can be used for business/work. Give it a try and you'll be glad you did. read more

We were looking for a good local coffee shop on our way through Toledo. Rustbelt Coffee was a great stop downtown. It was very busy for a weekday mid-morning. We didn't stay and eat in but they have lots of great meeting space and event a special space for students and business meetings. The coffee was excellent and well crafted. Thanks for a great start to our day. read more

Super spot and staff and offerings. And since original review expressing concern over incredible lack of any recycling of metal cans or plastic bottles and rampant use of disposables it's great to see use of high quality classy crockery since two months back. Social responsibility is rising here as they do what it takes to cut the carbon footprint and the landfill quantities - impressive to see customer concerns being heard and acted on. We want you to succeed and to do so with class as you're now doing even more. Cue applause read more

The staff is beyond friendly and welcoming! This spot also definitely has more seating than any other coffee shop in town, which is a plus on the weekends when everywhere is packed. Atmosphere is a 10/10 as well! I had one of the best vanilla oat milk lattes I've ever had here! Absolutely delicious! I would go out of my way to come back. The "vibe" was very on point for everything from working on your laptop to meeting up with friends. I also saw they had some rooms you could reserve and a back area for working professionals. Everything from the hardwood, floors, lighting, decor, and big windows to let the sun in made for the perfect coffee shop aesthetic. As an added bonus, the bathrooms were nice and clean. While much of the surrounding area has paid parking, there is a lot with free parking reserved for the coffee shop customers immediately to the right of the building. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area! read more

Stopped in with a friend to catch up quick. Ended up staying for hours because the ambiance is surreal. Love finding cute places to get a quick coffee and stay for a while. Got a chai latte and I must say it was one of the best ones I've ever had (I consider myself an chai expert). A little pricey, but a good one is worth it. A lot of people complain about the seating. My friend and I didn't have a problem finding seats. But we don't mind sitting next to people. If that's a problem for you I wouldn't recommend staying in. What sets this place apart from other coffee shop in the 419 is the store they have in the back. It's similar styling to pottery barn and they sell Tyler candles! (Didn't think you could find them anywhere else than online) if you were to get one of these candles online, you'd spend $14 easily on shipping so stock up! read more

Got a black iced coffee with a shot of espresso in it. Took over 10 minutes to be prepared and was probably one of the worst things I've tasted. It was the only thing nearby so I didn't have much option in terms of coffee. But it was just unbearably bitter and hard to tolerate. I gave it a few sips and swirls to make sure it didn't need stirred. But I just couldn't come around. read more

Great coffee, good staff, nice place for a meeting. Everything was clean and the parking was easy.

Omg. What a gem! I was on the road on business and I needed to stop somewhere to call into a conference call. They have this awesome work area that is quiet and more private than the front area and they even had a phone booth where I felt super private!! I had their iced coffee and it's light to medium roast coffee and very typical of arabica coffee - floral/fruity and bit on the acidic side(yum!) Great atmosphere over all, pretty rustic decor..and swings and sand bag?? I mean, come on! I need this where I live! read more

I am currently living in the Columbus, Ohio area and I saw this place on (WTOL) and was wanting to give this place a try since I am a huge supporter of shopping local. After driving past this location after taking my mother to dinner, I decided to turn around and end the evening by getting a cup of joe. Not only was the quality of the coffee superb, the pricing was really cheap as well. If I was living in the Toledo area I would definitely frequent this place as it seems like an ideal place to study or just relax. read more

Such a cool cafe. The atmosphere is hip and relaxing. The staff is so friendly. I went with my 2 kiddos and we ordered two hot chocolates (not on the menu), one latte and one donut. One staff brought everything to us since I had my hands full with my kids. Everything was delicious. Love the vibe. Plenty of seating. Clean and friendly. There is a store behind the cafe that sells vintage home decor. Must visit! read more

Visited from out of town and went out of my way to return the next day. Rustbelt is that great! Staff greets you upon entering; the space is beautifully daylit with ample seating options; and the matcha lattes are excellent. More on the matchas - well-whisked (no clumps), good flavor (not bitter), and milk excellently-steamed. Can you tell I'm obsessed? read more

It has been a Very Long Time since I took a sip of a new-to-me coffee and said to myself, "This is really good coffee!" On my way back from lunch with a co-worker, we stopped by Rustbelt for coffee to go. I ordered a skinny vanilla latte (skim milk, sugar free vanilla syrup). I should note that we did have to wait probably a minute before someone acknowledged us, but we also got two separate apologies for the wait (which really wasn't that long, considering we didn't know what we wanted yet, anyway). My 12 oz flavored latte, with tip, cost me just over $5. That's pretty reasonable. The place was packed at lunch time, so obviously other folks think that's reasonable, too. I also noted on the menu board that Rustbelt carries lunch items from Pam's Corner -- ironically enough, one was the very entree I'd just enjoyed at Pam's. As we walked back to work, I took that first tentative sip -- you know the one, where you're testing to see if the hot coffee is going to napalm you or if it's drinkable -- and I said aloud, completely without meaning to, "This is really good coffee!" I apparently just found out what so many patrons already knew. Despite it being a ten-minute walk from my work, I will absolutely be back. read more

Pros: ample space; parking on both sides of building; speacialty and traditional coffee/teas; ambiance: low lighting bouncing off brown tables and black walls; affordable baked goods; cafe separates the place in two rooms; seating accommodating groups, individuals, to include couches for the comfy and high level tables for those who come to study; both rooms have lrg windows allowing natural light to steal the show; bathroom conveniently located w/n range of the exit (no need to navigate a maze); dual function building: spiritual services held on Sunday Cons: chairs at bars aren't the sturdiest (I'm sure they are smart enough to make plans to replace them); only two stalls in the bathroom; hrs are precious are pretty short; Future plans: I would love to see them extend their hrs and space to live acoustic and spoken word sessions. Would love to see there parking lot quality improve and expand (like most of downtown) Ty Yelp for creating a platform that would help strangers make informed future endeavors read more
