I was stranded within the Sequoia National Park and I called Michael's towing. The woman on the phone was an absolute angel! I believe our tow truck driver said her name is Maria. Maria walked me through how much the tow would cost, how far they could take me and even went out of her way to connect me with northern AAA while I am a Southern Cal AAA member. Maria dispatched the driver, his name is Caesar. Caesar was so amazing. He was a gentleman, friendly and fast. My father has some medical issues and Caesar was so kind and accommodating. This was such a smooth and relieving ride home. I am forever grateful for Michael's towing for giving us peace of mind on such an otherwise stressful day. Thank you so much for such great customer service!

Be more professional fees up front. Don't wait until you have the tow on the truck. Also stick with your original quotes and communicate the delivery address with your driver. Definitely won't use them again. My advice pay $100 to a more professional towing service.

Courtesy. Reliability. That's what I got from West Coast Tow. Here's the story behind my review:…read more The clutch on my husband's Honda Civic went out about 10 miles from the Mineral King Ranger Station, about 2 hours from Visalia. He was able to get to the trailhead and start his 3-night,4-day backpacking trip. Since he didn't have cell service, he messaged me via Garmin asking if I could find a mobile mechanic or a tow in the meantime. And thus began my odyssey. If the car couldn't be repaired on the spot, I'd have to get a tow anyway, so I got in touch with AAA. Set up the tow for a Friday. Then they called me to cancel because they said the last 14 miles of the road were unpaved. And they don't do that. Well, only the last 2 miles of the road were unpaved, but I was out of luck. Called a towing company in Visalia; it was a one-man shop and he didn't want to deal with the drive. Called West Coast Tow, and they were awesome. The woman on dispatch was courteous and efficient. Tow truck driver called me from the road to verify the details. And he showed up on time and got the car back to a mechanic's. Towing cost $850, but I was quoted about $200 an hour, so it was no surprise. Anyway, super pleased with how professional West Coast Tow was.
