Courtesy. Reliability. That's what I got from West Coast Tow. Here's the story behind my review: The clutch on my husband's Honda Civic went out about 10 miles from the Mineral King Ranger Station, about 2 hours from Visalia. He was able to get to the trailhead and start his 3-night,4-day backpacking trip. Since he didn't have cell service, he messaged me via Garmin asking if I could find a mobile mechanic or a tow in the meantime. And thus began my odyssey. If the car couldn't be repaired on the spot, I'd have to get a tow anyway, so I got in touch with AAA. Set up the tow for a Friday. Then they called me to cancel because they said the last 14 miles of the road were unpaved. And they don't do that. Well, only the last 2 miles of the road were unpaved, but I was out of luck. Called a towing company in Visalia; it was a one-man shop and he didn't want to deal with the drive. Called West Coast Tow, and they were awesome. The woman on dispatch was courteous and efficient. Tow truck driver called me from the road to verify the details. And he showed up on time and got the car back to a mechanic's. Towing cost $850, but I was quoted about $200 an hour, so it was no surprise. Anyway, super pleased with how professional West Coast Tow was. read more

I don't know much about Visalia but I know they have a great tow truck company. I was passing through Lemoore on my way to Fresno on my way home when my car broke down. Tow truck arrived in 25 min, GEICO said it was going to take 45 min. I was happy with the 20 min earlier arrival. I didn't get the name of my tow truck driver but he was awesome. He explained how a jump would not work and he adjusted his schedule to do the towing. I have a 4WD so it had to be hooked up on the wagon. Everything went great and he recommended Dimples Diner for us in the morning because all the mechanics were closed and we were going to have to spend the night. After dropping our car at mechanic he gave us a ride back to our hotel. Huge shout out to the service and professionalism. read more

I originally called AAA for tow service to Visalia Ford, trying to prepare myself for a VERY expensive diagnostic fee! My tow truck driver went above and beyond to listen to my concerns, he was super calm and understanding, he came across genuine and his gorgeous smile was a plus 10! After going back and forth about what I "thought" I needed to do and after he got in and tried starting my car, we looked under the hood, I wanted to see what the battery/cables looked like, whether they were super corroded, loose, etc., he suggested checking the battery first, he explained why he thinks that may fix the problem, so I agreed and sure enough, it tested very low, most likely been draining for quite sometime. He then showed me how to replace it and suggested a couple places to get quotes. I feel terrible I can't remember his name, he told me when he called to let me know he was on his way, but after taking in all the information about my car, I just forgot! Although, there may be other problems with it, replacing the battery is significant and saving me a ton of money. Thank you West Coast Tow!! 10 out of 10!! read more

They did an awesome job for me. They picked up my work truck and took it to wheee I needed it to go. Quick work. Thanks guys

Yeah didn't help when AAA called you ! I ended up having to use one of your competitors. You left one of your members of your community out on the street without any help! read more

They have no heart. They don't care about the person who is suffering and wants to literally be dead because a vehicle that has been in their family for 25 years is about to be sold off or scrapped. Not everyone has a bunch of money to throw around. Especially after putting their husband to rest. My truck is my only means of transportation. It means more to me than my own life and once they do away with it, they can do away with me, too. read more

I've had to deal with other towing companies in the past and they've ALWAYS left me waiting for hours, I called West Coast Towing when my engine died and I got stuck on the side of the freeway... they were there within 25 minutes and the driver knew exactly what he was doing, 10 minutes later my car was loaded on the truck and on the way to the shop to be fixed. Charges were reasonable and the driver was very nice which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely recommend for anyone in need! read more
