The guys in the shop often come out to explain what is going on and give me options. They never do work without calling and asking for my approval, and if the work is going to take a few hours they're quick to offer the shuttle around town or a loaner car in some cases. Recently, I visited Peterborough Chrysler for an oil change and to have an engine light checked…read more After waiting 2 hours, I was informed that my vehicle was in need of a new transmission lock up torque converter, along with camshafts, rokers and tappers at a cost of $3700.00. I was also told that there was really no point in doing the oil change on the vehicle, as I may decide to purchase another vehicle instead. I then took my vehicle to a second qualified mechanic without informing him of the first assessment. He however, completed the oil change and did not see any of the first mechanic's findings. When I presented him with the information from Chrysler's mechanic, he told me that although my vehicle was demonstrating normal wear and tear for a van of its age, he did not feel that Chrysler's service information was accurate. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Peterborough Chrysler and am concerned that other patrons may be receiving the same misinformation.

I paid to ship it to me and then back to them when Hugh agreed to return the car. Once the car was received they refused to return my calls. Transferred me to their paralegal. Lied to her about what happened and are refusing to return my money. The car is a mess. Not clean at all. Attached are just a couple of pictures of the damages. The car was disgustingly dirty. Even had floor samples in the trunk. Avoid this dealership at all costs.
