I've been living here for two years as an undergraduate. I believe that this place could have been better if the management was better. I wouldn't recommend any families or students to live here. I do agree that this location is close to the campus, but trust me, you would rather live at The Colleges or anywhere else. The cockroach problem here isn't a joke, starting from April to September, the entire complex is crawling with them, especially at night.
To start off, the workers in the office are absolutely terrible. Anytime, anyone goes in, whether it be to pick up a package, file a maintenance, etc, they make you feel as if you are wasting their time. You're taking their precious time of their day to help YOU out. Even though, they get paid to do, which makes absolute no sense. They speak in a monotone way, directing you as if you were a child on where to sign, what to fill out. I absolutely hate going to the office, mainly because i want to avoid having to see the ladies up in front.
I've also have a problem with mail here, i have noticed in the past that when i go to the laundry room to pick up my mail, my mailbox would be open. I have mentioned it in the past to a lady in the office, where she then brushed it off saying, "did u close your mailbox?" "It's not within our control in regards to the post office workers mistakes." Honestly, if you can't even help out your residents, then what is your purpose? I have photos with date stamps on several occasions of this happening, but then again i don't have any mail worth getting stolen.
I could go on and on about the rants. But the good thing about living here are the maintenance men. They're absolutely amazing. They're efficient and extremely nice, hands down the best part of living here. I've had many problems with my apartment in the past where the maintenance workers have saved me.
Anyways, if this hasn't scared you off yet, then good luck living here. I'm so glad to finally leave this place since they raise their rent every year and don't do anything to improve their units. read more
