Before I did that, I checked Yelp and found this listing for Estes Park. I messaged to see if I might be able to get the protector, even though the company sounded as if it fixed broken things rather than do something like this. I got a very fast response from the owner...yes, he could do the work and even had the protector in stock. He was very pleasant, and made time for me right away. (If you've ever been to an Apple Store, you know what a change this was.) The job was done excellently and at a much lower price than Apple charges, and I didn't have to both buy the protector and pay for the application...it was all for the one price. (Note to owner, you could really charge more for this service.) I am very happy with my interaction with this company, and will use it for any future work that they do that I need. We had TDS internet for 7 years and have had consistent drop outs and slow speed in Johnstown CO…read more(despite having Gig service). We have also experienced billing SNAFUs on several occasions. Once Xfinity became available, I decided to cancel my account in early May 2026. I called and spent 2 hours on the phone and finally got a rep who told me they would send a return shipping box for the modem. That never came. I called again and was told they would ship out another return box - and it never came. Meanwhile, TDS charged me a $179 fee for equipment not returned. I found the local TDS office and delivered the modem in person. The employee said that my account had been adjusted to note the return. Today I received a bill!!! TDS is a crappy company that oversells service while shortchanging servers and infrastructure, and has the most customer unfriendly and convoluted business practices I have encountered. AND their website has dead links.

Every employee has a far different answer from the previous one and then each employee simply states, "I don't know why the other employee would say that!" But then further messes up your account. He suspected it was a board inside the phone. Said it could cost up to $300. Went to Best Buy and bought another phone but they couldn't transfer any data because I didn't have the password necessary to do that. After having a blank phone and none of my data, I decided to go back to CPR and pay whatever it would take to get my old phone working again. A different gentleman by the name of Jeremy was there. I explained the whole story to him. He took my old phone to the back and came out a few minutes later and said, "It's fixed". What?! You're kidding! "It was a simple fix", he said. All for only $35. Sometimes it just depends on who you talk to. I'm so glad I decided to go back there. Kudos to Jeremy. He really knows his stuff!
