I only used this company because my HOA recommended them and the HOA of course is paying for them. They rescheduled my appointment which was fine but then the day of my appointment they are 40 minutes late when I called the "Girl" that answered the phone was rude and condescending. Finally the owner called me and said that they were five minutes away at this point it is seriously 40 minutes after they were supposed to be here she shows up at my door and informs me that anytime they make an appointment there is an hour window for that appointment because anything can happen this was not told to me prior and I have never ever had anybody do this They come in an they spray and leave. While speaking to tue owner on the phone I was obviously upset and she hung up on me. I looked at their Facebook page it says ................. honest and integrity.......... I personally would never call them and I feel that if o was the person paying for the service they would have been on time and professional. But since they have a contract with the 4000 Residential community I live in they know they will get a call from the HOA when needed. read more

We are having contractors install wood flooring and of course nothing is ever simple. They found signs of termite damage and cheap repairs done by the prior owners. In a race against time, I ran to my garage and found the notice of termite removal that was done five years ago when we bought our house. That company happened to be Rush, and they lived up to their name and then some. William came out immediately to inspect and worked with us and our contractors to make sure everything was in order before they continued their work. He came back multiple times when the contractors weren't ready and was always on time. He and the woman on the phone (I'm so sorry, I'm terrible with names!) were so helpful and professional. Needed help, contacted them and there were able to come out on the day I was hoping they could. Day of the appointment arrived (Saturday mid morning) and they showed up. The determined what my exact problems were (turned out it was not as bad as we thought we were facing) and the solutions for it. I'm writing this review because I tried an amicable resolution, but with the company's empty fulfillment on coming back as promised with the weather permitting or a fair refund I find it fair to for-warn people looking for a trustworthy company. I would never recommend this company. Very nice people, however they lack integrity and communication, as well as not a clean job. I paid $1,800 for a job that now requires me to get a roofer because I have a huge leak.If it was communicated to me as the homeowner I would never have proceeded with the job. The young man that did the job took me outside to say I needed an additional plywood board on my patio because they found more dry rot and it would be additional $175, I therefor agreed, because it was communicated that was needed to complete the job nothing was mentioned about a roofer until The owners wife wrote a email after two months with additional information that was never provided to me as the homeowner. They complete the job only for what serves their purposes to uphold a contract but as far as customer satisfaction or service they lack severely. It's hard to trust contractors or other agencies but they were referred by my realtor and I put my trust in them by her, but now I'm out lots of money and have to chalk this up to a life lesson and hope to discourage anyone to put their trust into this company. It's been two months since the owner's wife has lead me on to fixing their mistakes and now there is no resolution just circled words in their contact emailed back to me. Customer service and integrity is not what this company upholds. They have no problem taking your money but when a mistake is made they had a hard ever putting us the schedule to fix the job to 100%. If your looking for an expensive quick bandaid to sell a house then realtors line up but from a homeowners perspective look elsewhere. read more

I have been so pleased with their service. They were careful with my home, quick to respond, and thorough with their work. I was very happy with their service and relieved to know those flying termites (the males looking for new places to start colonies) were eliminated! Great company, I highly recommend. *Also, for others who may be interested, I was impressed that there was not a weird smell left in the house, or any sort of residue on things. Mary and company are the best! I have used them for inspection on a couple of homes I was looking to purchase recently. They are friendly and knowledgeable and charge a more than fair price for what they do. I ultimately purchased one of the homes and found out it needed some work done. They not only did the work quickly and reasonably but were very neat and polite as well. Since moving in I recently noticed what I thought were termites flying inside the house I called them back for an inspection. Mary came out, turns out they are not termites but some other flying creature. She gave me tips on what to do and not do so I don't get termites. All that without a charge. Mary and her company are the best! Great people who go out of their way for their customers. Call them, you won't be disappointed. read more

This company was recommended by our agent who spoke highly of it. We went with it because it did not look bad on Yelp reviews either at the time. However, it was a big mistake to go with them. After all was done, we took a picture of the job and sent it to the agent with a note "We cannot say that they take pride on their works, can you?" As you can tell, we did not hear a peep back from the agent regarding this company. Lessons learned: (1) fire them at 1st red flag, (2) even with referral, should have several competitors line up for comparison and handy as backup, (3) 2nd red flag should be more than enough reasons to let them go. Recommend? Absolutely NOT! First, the agent sent Bill (the owner) for termite inspection. Monday, Bill came and walked through the house, looked around, came to the backyard, but only told us to replace a couple trims which got rusted. To the surprise, this expert didn't find termite in the house, we did when moving stuff around. Didn't he suppose to know what to look for and where? We called the guy, he came back to take a look, stated what needed to be done and that he would send someone to do it by Friday. Friday came, no calls, nothing. We called them, they said they didn't have a schedule for us. We asked for his number, of course they would not give it out, and told that someone would call us back. His wife, Mary, called us back, scheduled for the following week. We thought we could trusted her and things would go smoothly from here. We were wrong, again. Second, as scheduled, their son came to replace the trims, he spent couple hours, put up one, and a second was half way done. He told us he needed help and would be back. He didn't come back to finish the job that day. We got panic and called Mary again. She apologized and stated she will have things straight. We asked for a discount after what we've been through with them. She said she will talk to her husband and will give us a call. She sounded so good and trustworthy, but of course, not a phone call found. We wanted to see what was going to happen next. She and her son came to finish the job. She gave explanation for what happened. Excuses come with bad service - to be short. And when we brought up the discount, she couldn't look straight at us and couldn't say anything. It was hot that day, she looked even more pathetic now that awkwardness was added on to her red sweaty face. We closed the conversation by saying not to worry about it, we'll pay the full price but she needs to have the job done that day, period. She agreed. We felt we had enough and searched for a backup,just in case, as we walked away. When all was done, we went out to check the work. And that was went we took the picture and sent it to the agent. It was badly done, but thanks God it was done, otherwise they would earn a very detailed report on BBB. If you are thinking about hiring this company for anything, THINK AGAIN to save yourself from headache (plus money and time). read more

We are a fumigation company subcontracted to do some fumigations for them. Mary has never answered our call. They owe us the fumigations and when we call Mary's cell phone ( the owner) she never answers. When you call her office, she's never in, or shes off for the day, or on vacations. These are super nice people, experts in their field with impressive knowledge, and so willing to educate the customer too. I was panicked when my tenant in downtown L.A. called with a "bug" problem since I was afraid of the cost involved with companies in that area. Bill & Mary were willing to go, alleviated my biggest fears, & took care of eliminating the "bug" problem in short order for a very reasonable price. You won't get a "hard sell" for a regular maintenance type of contract with them like you would from most other companies in this field. Total crooks! Do NOT use this company. They did a termite inspection for a house I was buying and sited a water spot near the hot water heater. The bank would not fund the loan until this was corrected. Rush Termite said they would send a guy to fix it but it would cost $250. He came out, spent 2 minutes looking at water spot, and said "there was nothing wrong" but STILL CHARGED ME $250!!! I had to pay it for my loan to fund. My realtor reported the charge but they declined to reimburse any of the cost. I'm telling EVERYBODY I know to stay far, far away from Rush Termite. read more

I was not pleased with this company, I asked them to fix and or replace any termite damage, not only did they not replace all the wood that was damaged, they left an over hang hanging on one side separating from the wall with one nail. they did not measure correctly left wood separated with gaps with no caulking using the cheapest wood. they also were charging me $10,000.00 extra on the invoice saying it was just a mistake on top of that they lost my check so I had to put a stop payment on that check. When the owners came back for the check I showed them the over hang that was separating they said they would come back to fix it. It has been 3 weeks they have not shown up not even a phone call. I needed two sections of a patio cover beam treated, and I was only charged one low price, whereas Clark wanted to charge more than double, because they considered the treatment to be two separate areas. I found the exact type of property I wanted and while in escrow, the seller's real estate agent hired Rush Termite to do the termite inspection. According to the many documents involved in purchasing a home, I saw the quote for spot treatment. You wouldn't believe what these people are charging based on the VERY SIMPLE work they do to "treat" the termites and not a prevention program. $94 to "inspect" which involves taking a stick and hitting the eaves to feel for softwood. Then going into the crawlspace with a coverall on and look for mud tubes. Supposedly they found a spot under the kitchen and did a "spot" treatment with Timbor, $932 total. I did not pay for the termite service since the purchase agreement said the seller gets to choose. So they chose the "cheapest" method, "spot" treatment. So $932 for 20mins and injecting Timbor into wood only where they saw the infestation. Right after escrow closed I had a Crawlspace Encapsulation service come for a quote. It just so happened that he use to be a termite inspector. He pointed out that I had subterranean termites in addition to dry wood termites. In other words, Rush Termite did a "Rush" job and didn't bother with detailed inspection. So I called my real estate agent and told him the story. I then called Rush Termite to come back and recheck. They sent a young guy to inspect and he saw that the original inspector missed that location. While he was there I asked him to go around the entire crawlspace to FULLY inspect the area. As I was talking to my agent outside I could see through the vents where he was. After he came out I asked if he had inspected the entire crawlspace. He nodded his head and LIED TO ME about inspecting the entire area. I saw him the whole time through vents! He then said that he'll have to call the original inspector Mary to make an appointment to retreat the area. I said, "Whoa Whoa wait, you mean you're not going to treat it right now?" He said no and he had to talk to Mary. OMG all you have to do is take your Timbor canister and stick it in the hole and squeeze! It's not rocket science! Even my agent gave him an attitude for not treating it and I said that the termites are eating up my foundation as we speak! So he goes back into his truck and makes a LOOONG phone call to Mary and after getting out his truck he says I should call to arrange an appointment. So I call to schedule a retreatment and she says "I'm all booked up for the next two weeks and I'm going on vacation tomorrow for a week." WOW! just plain WOW! I said "well just send somebody else out to treat it." She replies, "We are all booked up." I then asked what's the warranty on the service, then she replies with a condescending tone "Did you read the termite report?" Then she goes on in a defensive tone and state page 3 and 5 and blah blah blah. Then she says "I'm looking out for you and protect your home. This business is family owned and we've been out here for 150 years." Bull kakka! You're looking out for yourself and protecting your business. So I arrange for the following week for someone to come by at 1pm, during my lunch break from work. I wait till 1:35pm and then I call Rush Termite. A very young girl picks up the phone and has absolutely no professional social skills. I ask when are you sending someone here, I have to leave soon. She says I have to check, let me call you back. OOOkaaay... I get a call back 15mins later and the girl says someone will be there in 20mins. It's 2:35pm and I'm about to just leave to get back to work. Then all of a sudden a truck pulls up with a really old man driving. I get out of my car and so does he. He was walking SOOOOO SLOOOWLY towards me and had a manner of "I just don't care because it's not my property". They didn't want to treat because they were not getting anymore money. I just let them supposedly retreat but decided I'm just going to get the entire house tented at my own expense. After that was done, I did some research and found out how to prevent termites that would last decades and not have to hire any termite company again, EVER! 1. Dig a trench 6 inches deep/wide around the entire perimeter of the foundation wall footing and around each support pier. Pour the termite solution "Termidor" or "Taurus SC" (available at any Do-It-Yourself pest control company) into the trenches. 2. Purchase 10-20mil thick polypropylene liner and 10mil thick crawlspace tape. Termites will not eat through this. Sprinkle down Boric Acid underneath the liner. This kills any bug that has an exoskeleton, especially termites and ant. Seal up the entire floor up to the sill plate. 3. Spray Bora-Care with Mold Care on all exposed wood surfaces. This protects the wood for from any Wood destroying pest. Bam! Termite prevention for 30+ years. If your on a concrete slab, just trench around the perimeter and pour per the mixing instructions. read more

Rush Termite, is the most unprofessional, unreliable and just plain rude pest control company I have ever dealt with. I recently sold my house and they are the termite company that the real estate company uses, so I had no say in the matter. They didn't show up on time to do any of the work they had scheduled, then when they did show up they didn't finish the job, but just left my house without letting me know and without cleaning up or anything, there were window shudders laying in my front yard, paneling in my drive way, the door to my hot water heater was just leaned up on the side of my house, the chimney was dismantled and left exposed. When I tried to call the office not only did nobody answer the phone it took 4 calls to get someone to acknowledge that their workers were in fact not coming back to finish because they only work to 4:30 and even though it was only 4 apparently they were done for the day and would come back the following week "some time". They were scheduled to come back today between 9 - 10 am, it is now 1:15 and not only has NOBODY showed up (after I had to take yet another day off work to accommodate their schedule) I've called, my real estate agent has called, the buyer of my home has called and none of us have received a call back.Trust me if you have a choice DO NOT use Rush they are the absolute WORST!
