I submitted a few quote requests on Yelp Monday afternoon (around 4pm-ish). Roy immediately responded to my request with one of the most competitive quotes and offered to be at my old house to haul the trash away the next morning by 8am! We had some dialogue back and forth (all very quick replies) and got the appointment set. 8am Tuesday morning rolls around and Roy calls me to let me know they were at the property and confirmed everything he was picking up. He noticed there was some furniture still in the house that I hadn't mentioned, so wanted to make sure I didn't need that taken care of too. Roy was a real life-saver. This morning, my wife started clearing out the garage, and once she gets going, well, let's just say the kids are doing cartwheels out there right now. Needless to say, I needed someone to show up, the day of, and haul away a fair amount of junk. I'd previously tried to get a call back from 2 or 3 other vendors via the Yelp request system, but to no avail. Time was running short. Etc. Roy picked right up when I called at 8:45AM. He gave me a quick rundown of what the costs would be, and I asked if he was available in to work that day. He said he'd be at my place at noon. I texted him some pictures of the work, and my address, and went about my day. About 10:15AM, Roy texted me and asked if he could show up early, as his prior job had finished early. As this was perfect for our morning schedule, I said "sure." Roy showed up at around 11AM, and worked diligently for an hour. He filled up just over half of his truck quickly, and without so much as a disruption. He hauled away the junk, and now the kids are doing the aforementioned cartwheels. Today Roy and Sean were able to come earlier than the appointment, I didn't see the text he sent me around 9, so I woke up after he called me at 10:30. We needed our sofa set picked up and no one would take them because they're stained and have holes in some of the cushions. We ordered new furniture so we needed them picked up before delivery!
