So my grandpa invited me over this past weekend so we can spend some quality time together. Well from all previous invite experiences, I knew something was needed around the house, whether it was help with electronics, yardwork, or just a simple help to move a few boxes around in the garage. And of course I was right! He had cleared up some stuff in his garage and yard, had a lot of 'junk' that he wanted me to get rid of. His plans were let's get a truck, and then the two of us load (he's 78), and dump at his local trash yard. Hmmm, so I started brainstorming costs. While I was doing research I came across Rush Removal. Decided to call them. Spoke to Roy. Who was very informative about what the costs and services offered were.  I had thought about renting a truck, and taking it myself to the local trash yard.  But as I thought about the cost of the truck, getting the truck, filling it, going to the transfer station(within their hours of operation), gas, dump fee, it just seemed like a lot of effort and not a good use of my time. I called Rush Removal and spoke to Roy. I was expecting at least a couple days or a week wait for pick up (which would mean I would have to come back another weekend since he lives far from me) NOT SO! I was able to get an early appointment for the next day!! Day of pick up, I get a call from Roy telling me that the truck is on its way. Sure enough within the hour, two workers show up (and introduce themselves), and gave me an estimate. Now, at first it may seem a bit pricey, but when I thought about how much of my time and having to rent a truck, gas, workers, dump fees, etc., the price started to make much more sense and was definitely worth it. Roy explained how the pricing worked, and what he thought the cost would be.  Then he told me how long it should take for them to load.  My cost, $148 (total) . Rush Removal (and Roy) did an amazing job.  I am really happy that I didn't have to deal with the "junk" myself.  The  booking process was easy to use. The only complaint I have is, that they made it look easy, which I know it definitely wasn't. I had to be out of my house on a Friday. I had schedule an appointment with another company to pick up some furniture and other items that I wanted to get rid of, but they never showed up...this was 2 days before i had to move out. So I started to panic! I requested a quote from Rush Removal and before I had a chance to set my phone down, Roy was calling to schedule my pick up.
