We hired Vet's Move Junk to clear out yard waste from a breakdown project: wood of various sizes, turf, rocks, and a large amount of leftover screws and nails from our project. DeAndre and Ulises were so nice. They arrived on time, communicated well before arrival, walked us through the process, and were genuinely kind throughout. They wrapped up in about an hour and a half for $750, dump fees included. It's hard work and they hustled. Unfortunately, the experience fell apart after they left. When we brought our two young daughters and our dog out to play, we found debris spread deep into the grass during loading, covering roughly 15 ft by 5 ft. The area was full of sand mixed with glass shards, rusted nails & screws, and other debris that is simply not safe around children or pets. My husband and I spent over two hours with a shop vac, yard vac, and on our hands and knees pulling out glass and nails. Even after all that, we've decided to tear out that section of grass entirely. At this point it's like finding a needle in a haystack, and the risk of finding one in a child's foot or a pet's paw is not worth it. We specifically chose this company to support a veteran-owned small business, as many of our family members have served. That's what makes this outcome sting a little more. Two simple fixes would go a long way for future customers: lay tarps between the work area and the truck, and run a magnetic sweeper over the job site before leaving so few nails or screws get left behind. Great crew and communication, but the cleanup left our yard unsafe for our family. read more

A month ago my father passed away in the South Bay Area and I needed to clear a lot of things from the house during this difficult time. As a vet myself, when I saw the truck on the road last week, I was proud to call and schedule an appointment. I spoke with a person and booked the appointment. I texted with another person at the company and confirmed my window was 12-2 for today. This morning my wife and I had to urgently take a family member to the hospital in Newport and I called the junk removal company to ask if I can make todays appointment closer to the later half of the time window so we can make sure we get to my dads house in time to meet them. The receptionist said she would let them know. We leave the hospital in Newport and head to the house. 20 minutes later I get a cold text telling me the appointment is canceled. It's been a difficult time not just since my dad passed but also helping other family members who are I'll. I thought I could rely on a company build on the brotherhood of veterans who always show up for each other, but the way the cancellation happened was appalling. No excuse, just canceled. I called and asked to speak to a manager and they transferred me to a voicemail. Some time later, i got a call from someone who said they would come by anyhow and give me an estimate even though it was their day off. At this point, it no longer felt right and will be taking my business elsewhere. It's disappointing and unfortunate. read more

Efficient, professional, and reasonable cost, what more can you ask for? Filled out the interest form on their website to schedule a visit and received a text confirmation as well as updates on the day of. I had some stuff in the house and garage that I've been wanting to get rid of for months. The two employees who came by gave me an estimate and once I accepted, it must've taken them less than 10 minutes to load everything in the truck. They were transparent with pricing and explained the cost. Now I have peace of mind and more space in my home. I will definitely be reaching out to them again when I have more stuff to get rid of. Thank you Vets Move Junk! read more

Awesome Job! I called Vets Move Junk (Orange County), they were able to come the next day. Mike called the day of the appointment to let me know that he and Ulises were on their way and would be arriving 15 minutes early, if that was OK? That was great knowing that they would not only be on time but would be arriving early. I had extra things for Mike and Ulises to haul away and they were able to give me an acceptable price for the extra items. I was impressed how quickly Mike and Ulises were able to load up the junk on their truck. Awesome job! I definitely will use Vets Move Junk (Orange County) in the future! read more

This was unbelievably easy. I called them, they came to give me an estimate (that was reasonable) within two hours. My junk is gone and all done in the same day. read more

Great experience. Free consultation, most cost effective, and really easy to work with. They sent me a quote immediately and were much more reliable and responsive than other companies and individuals I contacted - even the cash, local ones. When they came, they broke down, carried heavy things, and did it quickly and efficiently. Edgar and Miyon - thank you! read more

Disappointed I wasted my time on coordinating and believing this company when they gave me a pre quote on two straight forward items. I requested a quote on a queen size mattress and the bed frame. The man told me it's anywhere between $98-$148. I agreed and said that's perfect because I didn't want to waste my time or theirs having them come if it was a hundreds. When they came to quote one of the guys smelled like weed and was nodding off in the elevator ride up to my unit. When they saw the two items they quoted me over $400 to have it removed. Disappointed for a bait and switch / total waste of time. I found another company that removed the items for $150 same day. read more

This is a honest review I truly appreciate are veterans wanting to support so made a call I asked repeatedly what pricing is response depends on the load told what I had still same response so scheduled appointment now I have a couch bed bed frame wood twin 5 chairs two tvs and a scooter price 530 $ let's just say the conversation ended there this price is absolutely ridiculous I can rent a U-Haul myself do the job for a quarter of that price wasn't a good feeling having the notion of being ripped off especially by a company that supposedly works with veterans I think the owners a vet but not all workers are now this post is not to discredit them it is to give future customers a idea of their prices a lot more cheaper services out there read more

As I neared the end of my move, I realized I needed assistance to clear out the remaining clutter from my apartment that I no longer needed. I was a little overwhelmed with junk hauler choices but the name of this business stood out to me. My dad is a vet and I love that this place is veteran owned and hires veterans and veteran family members! So I made a call on Friday afternoon and was able to arrange for help to come the following day! I was given a time window between 8-10 am for the pickup. To my surprise, Nathan and Shaun arrived a few minutes early and were ready to start as soon as I confirmed the pricing, which was a free, no-obligation estimate. In less than an hour, they quickly cleared out my backyard, garage, and two-bedroom apartment of all the remaining trash I needed to discard. And all I had to do was sit back and direct them on what to take or leave. I seriously thought that this was going to take a few hours and they finished it all within 45 minutes. It couldn't have been easier. Plus, these guys were some of the kindest and funniest people! They were a delight to have around to help and I couldn't have been happier with this experience. If I ever need help again, I'd call them in a heartbeat, and I'd totally recommend them to anyone. read more
