Mike called the day of the appointment to let me know that he and Ulises were on their way and would be arriving 15 minutes early, if that was OK? That was great knowing that they would not only be on time but would be arriving early. A month ago my father passed away in the South Bay Area and I needed to clear a lot of things from the house during this difficult time. As a vet myself, when I saw the truck on the road last week, I was proud to call and schedule an appointment. I spoke with a person and booked the appointment. I texted with another person at the company and confirmed my window was 12-2 for today. This morning my wife and I had to urgently take a family member to the hospital in Newport and I called the junk removal company to ask if I can make todays appointment closer to the later half of the time window so we can make sure we get to my dads house in time to meet them. The receptionist said she would let them know. We leave the hospital in Newport and head to the house. 20 minutes later I get a cold text telling me the appointment is canceled. It's been a difficult time not just since my dad passed but also helping other family members who are I'll. I thought I could rely on a company build on the brotherhood of veterans who always show up for each other, but the way the cancellation happened was appalling. No excuse, just canceled. I called and asked to speak to a manager and they transferred me to a voicemail. Some time later, i got a call from someone who said they would come by anyhow and give me an estimate even though it was their day off. At this point, it no longer felt right and will be taking my business elsewhere. It's disappointing and unfortunate. read more

Disappointed I wasted my time on coordinating and believing this company when they gave me a pre quote on two straight forward items. I requested a quote on a queen size mattress and the bed frame. The man told me it's anywhere between $98-$148. I agreed and said that's perfect because I didn't want to waste my time or theirs having them come if it was a hundreds. When they came to quote one of the guys smelled like weed and was nodding off in the elevator ride up to my unit. When they saw the two items they quoted me over $400 to have it removed. This is a honest review I truly appreciate are veterans wanting to support so made a call I asked repeatedly what pricing is response depends on the load told what I had still same response so scheduled appointment now I have a couch bed bed frame wood twin 5 chairs two tvs and a scooter price 530 $ let's just say the conversation ended there this price is absolutely ridiculous I can rent a U-Haul myself do the job for a quarter of that price wasn't a good feeling having the notion of being ripped off especially by a company that supposedly works with veterans I think the owners a vet but not all workers are now this post is not to discredit them it is to give future customers a idea of their prices a lot more cheaper services out there read more

My dad is a vet and I love that this place is veteran owned and hires veterans and veteran family members! So I made a call on Friday afternoon and was able to arrange for help to come the following day! I was given a time window between 8-10 am for the pickup. To my surprise, Nathan and Shaun arrived a few minutes early and were ready to start as soon as I confirmed the pricing, which was a free, no-obligation estimate. In less than an hour, they quickly cleared out my backyard, garage, and two-bedroom apartment of all the remaining trash I needed to discard. And all I had to do was sit back and direct them on what to take or leave. I seriously thought that this was going to take a few hours and they finished it all within 45 minutes. It couldn't have been easier. Plus, these guys were some of the kindest and funniest people! They were a delight to have around to help and I couldn't have been happier with this experience.
