For the first time, I didn't have to provide any guidance. He and his crew arrived early and just went to work. When he was done, I did ask why a few things weren't trimmed, and for each he had an answer that made sense. Most importantly, I didn't have to ask him and go back and pull weeds that still remained or cut other things that should have been cut. On top of that, he trimmed my trees (small lemon and olive trees) way more than any other gardener before me, without my asking! We decided to get rid of a bunch of stuff that was no longer of any use to us. We started checking into what was available to remove all of the junk. The first person we called was a one man operation and he wanted an exorbitant fee. In addition to that we had several heavy items that could not possibly be carried by one man. Our next call was to a family owned company called EA Junk that looked real good on paper. They were also very polite on the phone so we asked them to give us an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable so we hired them to do the haul off. The job they did was professional and very quick. Watching them fit everything into one trailer was like watching a work of art in progress. All 3 workers were polite, respectful and professional. They weren't the first to pop up in the search results, but something told me to give them a call, and I'm so glad I did. Christina was incredibly kind and accommodating, and within an hour Juan showed up with his truck and trailer, ready to help. Despite already having a nearly full load, he and his helper still managed to take more than we expected. They worked quickly, efficiently, and with such great energy that I immediately knew we would call them again when it came time for the full cleanout. Fast forward to October. I scheduled a full unit removal (almost 1,000 sqft, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and two outdoor storage units). Christina gave us a fair quote for about two trailer loads. On cleanup day, Juan and his helper Owen showed up on time and got straight to work, short-staffed but unstoppable. Juan hauled two full loads to the dump, and before the third run Christina even showed up to help hands-on. My aunt and I jumped in too, and together we almost filled that third trailer.
