Deborah treats patients one-on-one without interruptions and uses a mix of traditional and hands on, manual therapies, including myofascial release. In addition to her professional knowledge and skills, she is also easy to work with and is great at explaining things and empowers the patient to help themselves.

They seem very disorganized in the business end of things. When I called to set up my appointments, they took my insurance info. They even called me back a few days later to verify it again. So I started therapy. Given that I had already racked up enough out of pocket expenses from my knee surgery, therapy was supposed to cost me nothing out of pocket. At the end of the second session I was suddenly told that Moffett was not in my insurance company's network and that I would have to pay $50 every session. As I have to have ten sessions now and ten after my surgery on my other knee, it would have cost me another $1000 to continue with them. I wasted my time and money and now had to scramble to set up a visit with another therapist and start all over again! They could have just told me they were out of network in the first place! I even called and spoke to the owner today about this. She promised to call me back but instead had one of her people call me back. All they could do was "apologize" for the inconvenience and say that usually they tell people they are out of network or whatever. In fact she tried to tell me that it didn't matter because when they checked with my insurance that I had not met my maximums and I'd have to pay anyhow. I explained that not all charges are posted yet and that I had hit my out of pocket maximums. She was like, "Oh." Really? Seriously? Finally when I stopped by their office tonight to pick up my scrip from them and cancel my appointments, the owner saw me and I am sure she knew it was me. But did she come and apologize? Nope. Sent one of her other people out. So needless to say, I won't ever be going here again.

I was apprehensive about the process and what I would be required to do. Everyone I had contact with was professional, knowledgeable, and very warm and friendly. After my first session, I was feeling comfortable with being there. I left that morning feeling confident I would be able to do what was needed and that my knee would be in good shape at the end. Micky was very good working with me and explaining the process. Throughout the sessions, Micky answered any questions I had, gave me suggestions, encouraged me, and kept me on track with her positivity. I also worked with Jessie for a few sessions and she too was very professional, a very good therapist. Micky helped me a lot and I felt very comfortable about the entire process and was an inspiration to me to keep at it. It is crucial that one does the exercises at home and Micky was very complimentary to me because she could see that I was working hard at home too. I was always encouraged to not be afraid and do the next little improvement to keep on target to the end. I was given exercises to do at home now that I finished with the therapy at Athletico. I am very pleased that I have something to follow to continue my recovery. Lauren is very warm and inviting at the reception desk. They didn't want to accommodate my work schedule. My treatments were because of an automobile accident. When I asked to communicate with my therapist Mark. The front desk girl who does the appointment scheduling didn't allow me to. My last appointment the same front desk girl did my PT when it should have been a licensed PT. I was discharged way too soon. I don't recommend his place for PT. I highly recommend going to Northsore or Northwestern for PT. ATI released me to get paid instead of helping me get back to 100% better.
