I've been going here for almost a year so this review is long overdue. I love this place! Dr Ryan and Jen are great. The place is always clean and fresh. I'm a fan of new technology and advancements so this is not your average chiropractic office where it's just a few massage tables and a skeleton. It's a one-stop shop here! They have the latest and greatest in chiropractic tools and equipment. Another feature is a physical therapy area to show you strengthening exercises and stretch techniques. Every time I leave this place I feel rejuvenated! A huge plus is now this place is covered under the Veteran Affairs Health System so my visits are no cost to me as long as my VA primary doctor keeps referring me. I've now been seeing Dr Ryan for several weeks and he has taken me from bad days and worse days to bearable days and bad days which I consider a huge improvement in such a short amount of time and with each office visit there is a noticeable improvement. I cannot say enough good about Dr Ryan and his staff. They are taking my paiaway from me and even though I pay for their service I owe them a debt I will never be able to repay. It's going on a year since I've found Dr Ryan and my days are getting better and pain manageable. I went for physical therapy following a total hip replacement of my right hip and worked with Felisha, who was FANTASTIC. The first thing she asked was, "What are your goals, and what do you want to be able to do when you're done with physical therapy?" Great question, since some people simply want to be able to navigate their day without pain, and others like me want to be able to live active lifestyles and do more. She worked with me, encouraged and supported me, and got me exactly where I wanted to be. She's excellent at what she does, and even when I had slight doubts about where I'd end up, I had great faith in HER. I like how detailed she is, explaining how the body works, and what the end result will be by working on strength, endurance and range of motion. I also had a chance to work with Harnisha and Gaelen, who were wonderful. And Michelle at the front desk is a real sweetheart and the perfect person to be the first encounter in the facility. My orthopedic doctor is with ILBJ in Arlington Heights, and I didn't want to drive that distance twice a week, so finding they had physical therapy in Libertyville was a godsend. I get there, the front desk staff lady ( I wish I could remember her name). I believe she was of asian descent. Anywho, RUDE and acted as if I didn't matter. She got the nurse I spoke with and they proceeded to talk about the front desk staffs nails as if I wasn't standing there. I have NEVER received such terrible service from a doctors office. The nurse even told me that we had not had the conversation and told me I was lying. REALLY??? Would I take off work early, make up a doctors appointment all for the hell of it? NOT!!! Very sad! I have never been treated as they treated me in that office that day. I will not ever go to that location again...

All my nurses, assessment people and physical therapists have been amazed by my progress, telling me I'm weeks ahead of schedule and doing exercises that most patients are unable to do for a month. Anita, the owner of Creative Rehab, told me that if I needed hip replacement, it was important to strengthen the muscles ahead of time, and she was right. All but two of the exercises I was given post-op were exercises she gave me the previous year. I saw Anita because I had a complex problem and found her to be eons ahead of many other practitioners. She looks at the whole picture when assessing patients. Many specialists see just their piece of a problem, but Anita is extremely knowledgeable and understands how everything works together. She's also great at explaining thoroughly what the problem is and what the solution is. Her focus is on the patient. If she can help you, she will tell you. If she feels the problem has a source beyond her realm, she'll let you know that, too. Very honest, kind and compassionate. While my experience is strictly with Anita, I would trust anyone at Creative Rehab. Given her concern for the patient, I'm sure everyone she hires is more than competent. If they're not in your network when it comes to insurance, check out their website to see how they work with people anyway, without breaking the bank. Five stars - I highly recommend them!
