I cannot speak for the rest of any doctors at this facility but my husband and I both have gone to…read moreDr Deepak Mitraon Rt 31 in McHenry, Il.. We share the same reviews which is he seems likable man but the entire operation as a whole is NOT very professional nor caringl. We arent looking for a nice guy that's superficial in his asessment but a professional doctor that digs deep and not only hears and understands our needs but follows through on them as well. And let's not forget their staff is a DIRECT extension of the doctor as well. I was given an RX(in JULY) that required a prior authorization by the doctor's office. They didnt bother processing it correctly so when I picked up this rx, I paid full price. Ok, mistakes happen. We are human. I called the pharmacy to inquire about the price paid and they explained to me that the dr office needed to put in the prior authorization for me to get the rx at the price quoted. They said the dr office could still take care of this and correct their mistake. So, I call the dr office with this info. The dr went out of the country for 2 weeks. OK, I get it..vacation time. I was told anyone could correct this so I was expecting someone to step up and fix this. Afterall, we all know its the staff that does the grunt work, right? So that was end of July... Well, after numerous follow up phone calls by me (over the course of MONTHS) , asking the status of this I was told TODAY (Nov 20th!!!!) ,"This has been denied. (I shared my disbelief and was told...)Well, Roberta spent a lot of time working on this" I almost fell out of my chair!?! What does THAT have to do with ANYTHING??! The OFFICE caused the problem, the OFFICE should fix the problem. Why should I have to pay 9x the price quoted because of their error? I dont care how long someone spent trying to resolve an issue that they created! Plus, they get paid every friday to do their job even if that includes spending time trying to resolve a mistake no matter where it originated. How about the time I spent? I called the pharmacy, the doctor's office NUMEROUS times, the insurance company, the prescription company...to only call back the dr's office telling them that ONLY they can correct this. I didnt get paid for my time! And not only did I not get pad for my time, but I got charged 9 times the original price quoted for the prescription!!! At some point I asked to speak to someone of authority to get to the bottom of this, but not sure that ever happened. The doctor never called to rectify this or apologize over how I was treated. In fact, it seemed to bother them everytime I called about this. Now you tell me...is this how you want to be treated? Update..same day as this review ..the dr's office called me several times today AFTER I had them conferenced in with my rx company who told them they needed to call authorization dept directly (the SAME # I already gave them months ago!), that it CAN BE RESOLVED. So when we all hung up my dr's office called back within minutes (First quick response EVER) and said , "The bottom line is nothing more can be done., we tried but because you picked up the prescription already we cant correct this" UNBELIEVABLE!! So I called prior auth myself...it seems I got through to someone! They called dr office to get info from them, while I was placed on hold waiting to be conferenced into call. The dr office just said to tell me WE TRIED and hung up from that call! So, again I ask..Is this how YOU want to be treated?? By the way, with ONE single call I got this mess straightened out without their help and I WILL get my refund although it will take quite awhile now because its over 90 days :/ hmmm, who's fault is that?!
