I enlisted the services of Rush Express twice. Once to help me move into Bakersfield (August 2018 with Ron & Cheeto) and once to help me move out (August 2019 with David and John). On each occasion, they were on time an worked hard. They were responsive to my direction and cooperated well to accomplish my goals for the day. They were careful, polite, and respectful. I rented a truck for a one way move to Missouri. U-Haul was no help to me, but these guys are stellar. They helped me get the truck, cleaned it up and made sure I was comfortable in it. I also hired them to pack the truck. The two guys were very professional. They worked with a passion. The truck was packed to the ceiling with our stuff. When it wouldn't all fit, they got us another truck to take the odds and ends to their storage. Yes it is a dirt lot working out of an old house, but they were so friendly and helpful. I was referred to Rush Express by Uhaul and I'm incredibly happy with their service. They were able to load everything from our 10x15 storage unit into our uhaul truck in less than an hour. They were also able to unload everything into our 2 bedroom apt in about 2 hours, putting boxes and furniture in their proper rooms/places, which makes unpacking much easier for us. Highly recommend using these guys for your moving needs. Very friendly and extremely efficient at what they do. The move from start to finish took less than 3 hours, including travel time between uhaul and our apartment complex. Great, hardworking guys! read more

I needed 3 larger pieces of furniture moved to the second story of our house with very awkward, twisty, and thin stairs. They came and were in and out. Real pros. I felt price was reasonable because if I would have done it the damage I would have made to the walls and furniture would have been way more than what I paid them. read more

Our U-haul truck had broke down and we had a time schedule to keep, and Rush Express was able to empty out the one truck and pack the other truck, (much better and more professionally then we packed it into the first truck) very quickly and got us on our way. Unfortunately your response is not accurate. It was Sunday, yes a weekend but don't accept jobs if you can't do them. Yes I waited for them for 30 minutes before calling to give them the benefit of the doubt in case they overslept. I woke you up at 8:30 am when I called and you gave me Ethan's number. He did not call back for another 45 minutes and said he would come himself. I told him we would not pay for the TWO HOURS. It is unfortunate the independent contractor resulted in a bad review for you but please be honest and accept some responsibility. If I could give them a bad review I would but you are the company that Uhaul contracts with. read more

I paid for a crew of two to pack my house last Friday, and prep for loading the truck on Saturday. I was sent two young men fresh out of high school who were more interested in opening and smelling my collection of teas tan they were in actually packing. My daughter and I packed at least 1/3rd of the House. I had the privilege of paying $500 for these unmotivated packers. The items that they DID pack were throw in to boxes (a lot of broken items), boxes were not labeled, brand new bedding dragged on the ground and ripped, etc. a good portion of items were not even loaded on to the truck, or packed. Items that I told them were not going with me were packed. This was a nightmare and a serious rip off. I'd have been a lot happier with a crew that knew what the heck they were doing. I.had to laugh when I heard the one guy telling his boss that they did not take breaks. Thanks for nothing Rush Express! read more

Three movers showed up on time - all three were very polite and worked hard to unload a 26-foot truck fairly quick. They were very sensitive to identify boxes labeled "fragile" and pieces that needed to be carefully lifted. They helped us out some things together as they unloaded making it much easier to function with basic needs after the move. Very pleased with their service and support. Great job overall! I hired this company to move for me because I had a large surgery and was unable to load the heavy items. I was told they would be there in the afternoon after a 4 hour job (so around 1/130). Apparently they had a job larger then expected, only know this bc I called. They kept extending out how long it'd be. So in total I waited an extra almost 5 hours. Boys show up and do the job in an hour bc I brought in two extra people to help since we'd been waiting. Boss Jerry calls and says it's 120 bc it's a two hour minimum...and he states it's not his fault the other job was bigger and I did not know there was a minimum until he went to charge me. So basically waited four hours and had to pay double. Only positive was the actual workers were good. The boss however is not someone I'd recommend doing any business with; took no responsibility for over booking or communicating to his customers and only made excuses. I had to call repeatedly to figure out what was going on and why they were late. I can also provide screen shots of all my outgoing calls from Friday and Saturday showing I made the first contact repeatedly from two different numbers to both boss and movers to try to get updates.I can also provide screen shots of the website where I got there contact info and no where on yelp or the website where I looked said 2 hour min. read more

Called Rush Express a day before we wanted to move and they were available! Everyone else was a week or 2 out. We got a truck and Rush Express sent 3 guys with tools and lifting straps and dollies and we were able to get everything in 2 trips. Great attitude, great service. 4 stars only bc they had some car trouble that slowed things down a little bit, and they could have been a little better at packing the truck efficiently.
