The production was well done, the regulars are all good, the music was lively, and the show had everyone clapping, hooting and hollering. The Grapevine Opry is a must see if you find yourself anywhere near Grapevine, or even if you must make a bit of a trip. They combine local talent, patriotism, a bit of the gospel, some country, a bit of corniness, lots of energy, with great choreography for a thoroughly entertaining evening. A bonus to attending the Opry is that it is right in old downtown Grapevine so there are lots of restaurants and places to stroll nearby. Go!

Did not do much research on the place I went because I played in this production when I was in High School. Imagine my surprise when we arrived and found out it was high school students. Well let me tell you the production was first rate. We laughed and were very impressed with the performance. The dance scene at the end of Act I was FANTASTIC!. I encourage you to go support these kids and what they are doing there. We were probably the only ones that were not family and friends of the cast and that is too bad this place should be packed out every night. After waiting in line at the check-in and going through a metal detector we were directed to a waiting room where a friendly employee explained that there was a mysterious story that you could try to figure out or you could just explore. Then they led us into the room to start exploring at our own pace. It was a really cool experience and full of creatively fun art. It was definitely an out of this world experience. After spending a few hours exploring we briefly visited the souvenir shop. We didn't get anything but they do have a variety of things to purchase. Overall The Real Unreal Meow Wolf is worth a visit if you like hands on experiences with a mysterious story that you can try to figure out while enjoying the creative art work.

We were there for a variety of choices for lunch, mistake I guess! We ordered from 3 different places. The food is really expensive (like a theme park) for what it is. It's slightly better than fast food, but is definitely meant for a captive audience. This is no Legacy Hall. The plus is the building is beautiful, fresh and new. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and felt like it was MEANT for Christmas holiday decorations. So... if only for that, I recommend doing the Polar Express train and ending with hot cocoa (or a drink) here.

The Acting Studio has been A huge positive in Dom's life . I wish we had found the studio sooner …read more It's more than classes , it's become her second home , her refuge. She has built some life long friendships both with her teachers and classmates . This is Dom's Sr. Year , her 4th year at the studio. She started with one acting class , that lead to her being at the studio everyday for several classes each day . She has been in several of the studio productions and on the Triple Threat team . Upright had a production camp for her age range, the time of summer that worked for us & price range we had been looking for! She ended up loving the camp! The director of the camp was very communicative, shared pictures, and did an amazing job making the production happen in the 2 weeks that the kids had with the camp. I really liked the program they used to communicate with parents, shared the music files so we had it at home so they could practice, and what the needs they had for costuming. My oldest very much looks forward to taking a class in the fall & possibly auditioning for parts in future productions they have. She has also had an interest in behind the scenes aspects so it will be awesome to see how this theater grows and what classes they offer in the future!
