We were very impressed with Runt's Munchies all around! Tons of cute pig decor and also some pretty funny signs. The woman who waited on us also cooked the food which was very impressive! F bomb egg rolls are insanely delicious and there is always something fantastic in the case of yum!!

We were looking for a very late lunch in Cedar Rapids, found this place online, and decided to give it a shot. It's a small space and it threw us a little walking in, but the lady working was extremely nice and helpful. Told us to sit where we wanted, grabbed us menus, and gave us a few minutes to decide. We went with onion rings which were large and delicious, F Bomb egg rolls which weren't as spicy as I had hoped but made up for it in flavor, tenderloin sliders which were excellent, and mini pizzas for the kids. My oldest got Spaghetti-Os pizza and was still giggling about it at bed time. The service was excellent, the food was great, the baked good we tried were wonderful - all in all a great experience. When back in Cedar Rapids we'll be back. read more

She and her one cook were really busy, and she made it known rudely to people, so first impression we were not impressed. We had the cheeseburger egg roll and Philly cheese steak and both lacked flavor. We only had cheese and steak in our Philly and as much as they cost they definitely were not worth it. The sliders were really good and we were surprised at how big they were! Those I would recommend. The Floor was dirty and tore up, and so were the chairs, we didn't even want to sit in them. Ordered delivery from Runts tonight. In town for work and wasn't feeling up for going out or for a big meal. Ordered the mashed potato bombs and the breaded chicken salad (oh and the s'mores funnel cake for later). Food arrived on time, if not a little early. The jalapeño ranch dressing is awesome. The chicken was nicely, lightly breaded. Mashed potato bombs hit the spot, a perfect crunch on the outside and smooth, cheesy mashed potatoes on the inside. read more

A nice place to stop and and get some quick food near the downtown library. I normally stop in and get some of their sliders (which are almost like full-size burgers) and have always liked their food. Great service as well. Truly a great place to eat if you have the munchies. A nice relaxed vibe. read more

Great and enticing menu. Horrible execution. Food was dry, flavorless, burnt. Ordered through delivery service, and it came quick. The dipping sauces were unappealing and seemingly watered down. This is a fun take on small plates and snack foods. We ordered pickle dip, buffalo chicken egg rolls and a corn dog waffle - which was a full sized waffle with hot dogs cut up in the batter. Small desserts including cupcakes as well! Lots of many different choices, so we'll be back to try some other things next time! read more

We really love going there, fun and tasty foods. This is a unique and fun place to eat.

Really unique menu, lots of things you won't find elsewhere. Their lunch specials are super yummy (try the Buffalo Alfredo or the Southwest chicken Alfredo) and very reasonable. Huge sodas for $1.50. The baked goods are unique and tasty (especially Grandma's no-bake cookies) and she makes new stuff everyday. Not your run of the mill place here and worth checking out! read more

Stopped in to grab a couple "take home and try" items. My girlfriend has been raving about this place so I had to come check it out. Super cute little place! The food is filling and the atmosphere is interesting. Their Mac and cheese they make as a side has what might be Rotini as the pasta in place of Macaroni, but I like it otherwise. I tried the Chicken Alfredo Eggrolls and they were moist and creamy. If I wasn't trying to limit myself budget wise? I'd probably tried the dessert. We got fried pickles, bacon cheese fries, mozzarella stick (which are minis), philly egg rolls, & f-bomb egg rolls. All was delicious expect for philly egg rolls. There was little to nothing for filling in the philly egg rolls especially when comparing them to the amount of filling in the f-bomb egg rolls. read more

Not impressed AT ALL. Ordered a Pepsi which was totally flat (no gas) Told the server and then ordered chocolate milk. If you are going to add chocolate syrup to regular milk, tell me first cuz that isn't chocolate milk and I would NOT have ordered it. Got the deviled egg dip. No flavor, tasted like nothing. They forgot to add the paprika on top too. Two of us got tenderloin sliders. One of ours were pink in the middle (totally not acceptable). Onion rings were burnt and COLD. Fries were the only thing decent. Egg rolls were awful, only ate 1. Reasonable prices? $50 for all of that is outrageous! Won't ever go back or recommend. read more

Four of us stopped by on a weekday for lunch. Service was fast and everything was delicious. I shared 4 Cheeseburger sliders with my husband. They were hand-pressed, juicy and cooked to perfection. My brother-in-law had build-your-own pizza with Canadian bacon, black olives and green peppers and my sister had the cheesy tuna pasta special. Both excellent as well. Prices are extremely reasonable, portions generous and the drinks are huge. Desserts looked amazing but we were stuffed. Got a couple of cookies to go. They were also very good. read more
