When I walked into the new setup, it felt chaotic and unprofessional. I was ready to drop $200 on shoes, but I was completely ignored. The staff seemed disinterested and borderline rude. To be honest, I was really interested in getting a pair of Hokas since my job requires me to be on my feet all day. I used the HOKA store locator to see what retailers would have them, and it led me to Run Republic. Much to my surprise, I never realized that I passed this store all the time, as I'm in the plaza to get food from next door all the time. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Jude. Jude provided excellent service, and recommended the Saucony's to me. I ended up trying a pair of HOKAs along with the Sauconys, and found the latter pair to be really comfortable. You will pay a bit for the shoes, but take it as an investment in your personal well being. Amazing customer service! I came into the store with my husband right before closing and all the staffs were so informative, helpful and patient with us. My husband was seeking for a comfortable and supportive pair of Hoka for work. My husband is a health care worker and his demanding job requires him to be on his feet for 8-16 hours on any given day (he often does double shifts and works two jobs). Maddie or Maddy (sorry if I am not spelling your name correctly) was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable on the different types of shoe brands and different types of supportive insoles. She started with a scan of my husband's feet and it shows that my husbands feet is very flat and that he needs a shoe with supportive arch. Maddie and her partner who is also very professional and helpful pulled out multiple pairs of shoes for my husband to try on. They let him tried multiples brands of insoles that were comfortable and supportive based on his feet scans with the different shoes. My husband ended up ordering a pair of Hoka from this store that will be shipped to our home with Currex dynamic insole to help support his arch. I tried on the Birkenstock Arizona sandal and felt in love with the support and comfort it offered. Being pregnant right now, it's been difficult to find a pair of sandal that is cute and comfortable especially with the semi-swollen feet. Joe, the owner was so kind to take the time to show my husband some feet exercise to help with his plantar fasciitis even after store hours. Overall, we highly recommend this store to everyone. He welcomed us in and introduced us to the machine that measured my friends foot to get a better understanding of the needs. I often walk 6-8 miles a day for work and wanted two more pairs of shoes to switch out with my Hoka Bondi's. I came in the afternoon and Armando was absolutely amazing. He is so, so knowledgeable, very personable, and super patient. He did a scan of my feet and I found out that I actually have flat feet. He pulled out multiple pairs of shoes for me to try on and I thankfully found 2 that were awesome. Based on the recommendation of the scan, bought insoles that match my feet perfectly in case I want to wear other shoes. They also have a litany of compression socks which are always a plus! This is a great gym studio to go to when you want to switch up your workout routine from time to time. This gym studio is also convenient for me since I moved to West Covina more than a year ago and I wanted to build a community here. I took a class today for a full body workout with Katherine Morales. This is my second time taking her class through Class Pass and she has been a great instructor with full of energy! Katherine is very friendly, kind, encouraging, attentive, and helpful. She is always making sure everyone was in proper good form when everyone is doing the exercises and she keeps everyone motivated throughout the session. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone especially if you need a quick full body workout! Katherine will put you to work, but not just push you, but in a very supporting, encouraging, and motivational way. Great family owned business and definitely super friendly. I am just starting my running journey and needed a new pair of running shoes. I didn't know where to begin or what I was looking for. Then, I went on their machine to get my feet measured and fitted (there was a long line of people waiting to be fitted so we decided to try on shoes while I waited). I originally purchased two pairs of the HOKA, all gender Ora Recovery Slides sandals per my Podiatrist recommendation. However, I almost fell twice walking through the house from one end to the other while wearing these sandals. I returned to the store, and explained to the worker what had happened, no problem! I was able to exchange the sandals for the HOKA, all gender "Ora Recovery Slide 3" sandals which have a lower arch, and provide better heel stability for balance. These sandals are lightweight, waterproof, comfortable, and great for people with sensitive feet needing extra stability for balance.
