I went into the store looking for some real help to find the right sneakers so I could walk without pain. The sales person was so patient and helped me try on many different pairs of shoes. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find what I needed but did come to the conclusion that I need to seek a foot doctor! I would highly recommend this store if you need help finding just the right pair of sneakers!! read more

My Name is Jose Colon, I arrived at this store recommended by my doctor, and from day one everyone in the store was great, and they will call you by your name and they are so attended to you and willing to help you. I give 5 stairs to Run-N-Tri Outfitters. Because they are great. Thanks!!! read more

Over the course of three visits all employees were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Lee took the time to have me try multiple sneakers from multiple brands in order to find one that met my needs (I'm having a problem with a foot as I get older). Their familiarity with the sneakers, their knowledge of running and exercise, and their own experience makes this a first rate shop. Running/exercise can put unwanted/unintended stress on our aging bodies. These folks can help you avoid that while getting you into the sneaker that best meets your needs and requirements. Well worth your time to shop here. read more

Extremely service oriented staff that asks questions to find your best options. If you want running shoes in Wake Forest, you can't do any better. read more

The service was great! The sales person was leading us to shoes that would correct my brother's walking rather than the most expensive shoes in store. They seemed to be a very fun group and I look forward to when I need new running shoes! read more

We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine: Parking: 4 Location: 4 Decor/ambiance: 4 Customer Service: 5 This place is pretty cool. I've been to many different run stores but I'll have to give these guys a good score because the service was awesome. That's something that always stands out to me whether I'm going into a McDonald's or if I'm going into a run store services everything and that's part of the that that's part of what makes the experience I return or cancel. I must say that these guys knock the service out of the park. I stop by today to attend a run that was taking off from the store. While I was there I decided to go ahead and take a look inside to see if I can find any small assessor he's to help me along my journey. Upon walking in a nice young lady was assisting lots of different people and she took the time to help me as well she was awesome and because of her I've got to give this Establishment a great score. The parking wasn't that bad and the location isn't bad as well. If you're on that side of town if you live over in that area be sure to check out the store because they have all of your favorite running brands for shoes and gear and Accessories. read more

Brian and his friendly staff of experts can help you fit the right shoe for the right activity. So happy to have this store close to home. I highly recommend! read more

This review is long overdue. During the COVID 19 virus, this team continues to support their customers beyond any standard level of customer service. Why the retail space Is closed, Bryan and his staff are monitoring their messages and social media to fill customer needs. After maxing out my last pair of shoes, I called the store and my shoes were on my doorstep in 3 days! Beat that!!!! Even before the different times of Corona, their Customer service has been above and beyond. After running recommended shoes from other reputable stores for years, my feet and leg pains continued and appeared to be worsening. After being told to hop on the treadmill for a brief jog and evaluation, the owner said he just didn't see the need for all the structure and support the other stores had been pushing. After bringing out several options, I left with a new brand and instructions to try and not to hesitate to return if they didn't provide some comfort, relief and overall satisfaction. Fast forward many miles and now on my third pair of the recommended shoes, I highly recommend you check these guys out. Btw, if you don't like product knowledge, honesty and a sense of humor when being helped, go back to to the chain stores. This place has a passion for helping people be their healthier self. read more

Great local shop with a lot of knowledge and very helpful staff. These are the folks who know shoes and have the clothing, accessories, and nutrition needed for your workouts. read more

Have nothing but good things to say about Run-N-Tri! Would definitely recommend coming here if you're in need of new shoes, running gear, and clothing. Everyone was super nice and helped my husband and I find the right shoe for us! Will definitely be coming back in the future! read more

Unbelievable experience. I bought some Adidas that were squeezing my toes when I ran from The Adidas store. I came by here and the friendly man had me get on the treadmill. He corrected my cadence and relaced my shoes. He explained to me that Adidas has gone more narrow in the toe box and by skipping the top lace it should help, and it did! He didn't try to sell me a thing!!! However, I bought a Brooks jacket off the Clearance section and it's now my favorite. Love local Family places that treat customers like family! read more

This was such a great experience! The employees were charismatic, knowledgeable, and just overall amazing. He really took his time with each of us in order to find the perfect sneaker. The prices are also very comparable to other places. Would 10000% recommend Run-N-Tri!! read more

Every year we do this family shoe shopping thing for new trainers. Kids grow and frankly you only get so many steps out of your kicks. We had a favorite back home (old state) but hadn't found a new place. When I explained what I was looking for a friend recommended Run N Tri. Spot on! Tiffany helped us and was amazing at finding something for my son who's feet aren't quite in a men's fit, my daughter who has color issues and me who needed to order something that they didn't currently have in stock. Helpful easy to work with staff. When my shoes arrived I was encouraged to try them on before I paid for them to ensure perfect fit and comfort. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

First off let me say that the service here is AMAZING! It's hard to find a store now where you can find good one on one attention. I came in for a shoe fitting because the sneakers I had just weren't cutting it anymore. Shannon greeted me right away and took the time to listen to my needs in detail. She examined my current sneakers and explained to me what was going on with my current sneakers. She got a few sneakers for me to try on and run on the treadmill with to see how they worked. She was able to see exactly which out the shoes were best for my gait. And best of all, I got an AMAZING deal on them! (I guess the word of the day is AMAZING ). All in all, this is a great shop and great location. Thanks again Shannon! read more

The place just opened and glad it did. We do not have anything like this in Wake Forest. Met the owner and was one the nicest and most helpful person I have come across. He is also very knowledgeable which helps tremendously. Their selection is a little light but I am sure that will change. They have a great attitude in educating on what you need for the activity that you want to do. They will definitely see more of me there. Really enjoyed my first visit. read more

Run-N-Tri Outfitters - Store Front - Sports Wear Near Me - Wake Forest, North Carolina

I had two great experiences here, and I highly recommend this store. Its hard to find good one on one customer service with knowledgeable staff anywhere these days, but you WILL find it here. I needed to replace my shoes, and both Renee and Bryan took a lot of time with me, examining my current shoes, watching my gait, pulling a variety of shoes they thought would be best for my feet and my specific needs, and finally helping me make an informed decision. They made what can be an overwhelming and frustrating process at the big sporting good stores into an easy and positive experience. They know their products, and they seem to genuinely care about helping you find the right product for you. I will never again waste my time or money looking for gym shoes anywhere else. I love supporting small local businesses, but even more when they are as good as this one! read more

Absolute best running store is the Triangle! The sales associates are by far the best at customer service and patience when trying to get the perfect pair of running shoes, gear or apparel. I highly recommend RNTO! read more

Hands down the best place to go in Wake Forest if you are in need of new shoes, sportswear, even healthy pre workout snacks, they have it all! The owner, Bryan, and all his staff are very knowledgeable. When you walk in the store they make you feel very welcome with the fun and outgoing environment they set. Bryan helped me pick out a pair of shoes that were right for me, even if you don't know what you're looking for Bryan and his team are there to help! They were nothing but honest with me, you can really see the passion that Bryan shows when he interacts with people there and that is why he will keep my business for life! If you haven't tried them out I definitely recommend going by there to check out all the amazing things they have to sell there! Thanks again Run N Tri for the help you gave and I look forward to next time! read more

Bought running shoes here today. The two people working were so knowledgeable and helpful. I had to bring my two year old with me. They were so kind to her. They even have a room with toys for kids to play with. Amazing!! I am not an avid runner, but I needed a good pair of running shoes for when I'm on the treadmill at the gym. They listened to me, and we found a great pair of Brooks running shoes and running socks! I will not shop anywhere else for running shoes. read more

I see on here that everybody has had a great experience. However, that was not the case for me. I went there to try on Hoka Bondi 6 not to get comments in my weight and doing self care. Bryan doesn't know me or my journey I could have been 600lbs or other problems. He shouldn't assume I wasn't taking care of myself. Obviously I am since I was there looking for a good shoe for work. I seem to think I have thick skin but for some reason his remarks really insulted me true or not I wasn't there for weight loss I was there for shoes. I will say he was knowledgeable about the shoes. read more

I really enjoyed my experience at Run N Tri. I moved here from L.A. and needed new running shoes. Ian was excellent. He gave me plenty of options and we narrowed down my new shoes from there. What I like most about this store is the staff know shoes. They also pay attention to how you walk so they can help you pick the right pair. There is no pressure to get additional products, but I will definitely be back when I need cold weather running clothing. read more

Gotta echo what Will L. said. I'm satisfied beyond words at the time and attention Brian gave to my issues and concerns a year ago when he recommended Altra shoes for my running style. A year later, I'm back for more shoes and Brian remembered me. Talk about customer service that is above and beyond...we just don't have gems like these anymore. Highly, highly recommend Run N Tri outfitters! read more

Best Customer Service! I walked in with a paper from my doctor and Lee immediately knew how to help. He measured my foot, showed me the selections the doctor recommended and explained in detail why each shoe was a consideration. Lee was knowledgeable, helpful, kind and patient. I would highly recommend this store and staff. read more

This is my new spot for all things running. Great place to get some Altras, nutrition, get with a run group, or just stop in and shoot the breeze. Good selection of technical running shoes, tri and running clothing. They carry a few biking items like seats, helmets, shoes, tubes and a few other small parts. No full bikes or rims. They have a decent little selection of swim supplies. They host a variety of product demos, run and tri clinics, and a weekly run or ride group. Solid family owned customer service. read more

This place is great! I was looking for a place to get some new goggles for swimming some lanes, and I'm a huge fan of supporting local small businesses for a plethora of reasons. So I decided to look up some places to buy goggles before going to the big businesses, and I found these guys. If you're into running, cycling, swimming, or any combination of the three (obviously including triathlons), then I recommend checking these guys out first. The staff in there are very knowledgeable and very involved in the community so go check them out for top of the line gear from a local entity! read more

This is the best running store in the Triangle. Bryan takes his time to truly understand your needs and what is going to work best for you and your training. The customer service is outstanding, I will not shop anywhere else I have been coming to him for years and will continue to do so. If your in need of a good running store, stop looking and go to Run N Tri you will not be disappointed. The attention to detail and customer service can't be beat. read more

I had been looking for a store with serious footwear experts for the past couple years and thankfully found Run N Tri in Wake Forest. I have chronic hip and back issues due to arthritis and absolutely must wear shoes and inserts that fit/work perfectly. Thankfully, the owner and staff took the time to assess fully my needs and then suggested I try different inserts for the running shoes I already owned. There was absolutely no pressure, just patience and expertise and concern. After trying two styles, I tried a third, Cadence Insoles, developed recently by a physical therapist. The fit was immediately perfect, and I have been moving pain free for the past week. The long and short is Run N Tri now has a customer for life. On a five-point scale, I rate it a 6! It's a great shop with topnotch people who truly care about their customers! read more

So I decided to pop into Run N Tri for the first time today because I needed a pair of running shoes to start slowly rehabilitating myself from some old injuries. I haven't run in years and know very little about running other than you put one foot in front of the other a whole bunch of times. I can assure you that after shopping at this store I'll never buy running gear from any other place again! When I walked through the door I was greeted immediately by the professional and congenial owner Brian, who took an quick interest in my reason for being there. He quickly isolated my needs, and fitted me to a couple different brands of shoes. After putting me on the treadmill for a quick jog he assessed my gait and he had me immediately in the proper pair of shoes. After having just finished a workout, in said shoes, I'm writing this and I can say it's the first time I haven't experience knee and back pain while working out since I can remember. Brian is a wealth of knowledge and has an amazing demeanor to boot. The store may appear small but is very deep and has tons of quality merchandise to choose from, while maintaining that down home feel which unfortunately is waning in our society. Thank You for proving to me that true customer service isn't dead Brian. I look forward to seeing you again when I need to make my next purchase! God Bless. read more

Made the short trek from Raleigh, because I heard through the grapevine that these guys carry Altra running shoes. If you run in Altra's, you know what I'm talking about. Owner, Brian, walks the walk and is incredibly knowledgeable about both his sport and his product. So friendly! The very best thing about this place, however, is a complete and total lack of any sort of pretension. Maybe you're just a light/casual jogger, and maybe walking into some other running outfitters in Raleigh is intimidating to you...or maybe some other running outfitters in Raleigh irritate the crap out of you with the ridiculous gear pushiness and drippy pretension. If so, you will find Run N Tri Outfitters to be an incredibly accessible and welcoming breath of fresh air. Highly recommend. read more

I cheated on my regular, go to store, today and went decided to visit Run N Tri Outfitters for a new pair of shoes. Renee was so patient in trying to help me find the perfect shoe, I didn't feel rushed at all to make a decision. When I started running on the treadmill so she could assess my gait, Brian jumped in an immediately recognized some ailments I have the inhibit my performance and was able to offer up some training suggestions. They are both extremely knowledgeable about running footwear. I highly recommend trying Run N Tri Outfitters when looking for your new running footwear, if you are a novice runner like myself, or an experienced marathoner, they have what it takes to get you to your PR. read more
